For credits, something nobody seems to be talking about are the interaction missions with Pom Pom that you can do multiple times a day. They are really fast and give you 8k credits each time (or maybe more at higher equilibrium levels)
So credits are the reward? I always do them and is annoyed at how needy he is, but at least he gives some cash.

I think at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what you farm too much. The only thing that I think you could do really wrong is just to sit in Cavern of Corrosion and try to farm out cracked relics where the rest of your team is lacking in levels, traces and light cones. You will need a balance of everything and I think unless you are trying to speedrun MOC, people are getting too stressed out about optimising their stamina.
Yeah, I don't think anyone should be farming relics. Everything else goes.
I'm doing the same thing I used to do with genshin: focus on each character one at a time, prioritizing my main team. It goes like this, for example: Main team is Fire MC, Natasha, Tingyun, Seele. Get them all to level 50, done. Get their light cones to level 50, done. Work on traces, in progress. Prioritize Seele, MC, Nat, Ting, in that order. Once complete, move to others like Himeko, Asta, Sushang, etc. Characters that I don't like or will never play like Hook get the back seat lol.
Repeat for each new TL level.
I beat world 6 and 3 starred 12 floors of forgotten hall with shitty relics.
The game is still new, just enjoy and have fun. :)

AR50: If I don't get the Speed Boots at 10 pulls in Leylines....Will probably just custom craft it.
@@uchihasenpai5671 They both have pretty similar healing skills plus healing amounts. But Bailu is a 5 star so it would be more value and also can revive, which is pretty big.
If you want to do Memory of Chaos, then you probably need both of them since it requires two team. If not, then I'd go with Bailu.

That and don't spread out your resources too much to lvl 8\10 characters at the same time (like i've on seen on twitter people complaining that they can't upgrade 1 character of each element instantly, that it feels slow...)
You should focus on building your main team first (traces, ascension, light cones, relics etc), then when that main team is maxed, u start focus on the second team using the main team to farm faster.
Because if you start building 8 characters at the same time, your screwing yourself over when your equilibrium levels up, the enemies will become tougher, and it will take longer to farm normal mobs or bosses, and ultimately screwing your account for months...
Again this a single player game, you do what you want to with your account but then don't go on twitter (those people not you) and complain that the game has a slower character progression than Genshin when the game is not even a month old...
I am tl 47 and I didn't even had a chance to farm for relics honestly, everyday I see my teams and there is always something to do before getting into relics and I end up using all my energy for that. Honestly I'm pretty happy for now with the relics that the game gave me, I completed forgotten hole 15 and I didn't even try the next stages, but there is time for that too, we are not in a rush

That's the reasonable way to play IG. Relics are like endgame stuff. So unless you've got ass tier relics there's no point to farming them. I spend all my power on leveling my characters, their lightcones and traces first. If I have some remaining power i can then go for maybe one run of CoC. Relics are a long term thing and you can always always get a better one. So there's no point being obsessive over them. Just work with what ya got.
Actually same. I'm at 47 atm, I've finished farming for traces at, idk, 44, maybe, and I'm prefarming the boss drops for when I hit TL50 I can ascend them all. After that, I'll be farming for traces, to ascend light cones and to level up my characters. Relics come after all that, fr.
The thing people need to realize is that there is no events, the story is half way and not coming back any time soon and memories of chaos is only for whales. Its a single player game, there is no rushing at all.

@@thugginthatshitout it's not that hard. dan heng is a solid dps March 7 and fire mc pair up so incredibly well together,Asta is am insane buffer(not as insane as tingyun but still good) herta and sacha girl are the only ones you could argue aren't more then decent. but the starting 4 are solid compared to genshin starting. even for people who have plenty of 5 stars they still use March and fire trailblazer and asta(dan hangs a dps so he's easily replaced)but those 3 are.good 5 stare for being free and are so much more usable then the starting 4 you get in genshin or most other games for that matter
Just FYI ascension material is one of the better ones to pre-farm as far as energy efficiency between EQ 3 and 4 so if you want to not waste your trailblaze power, it is better to pre-farm for those. But yea, at the end of the day, it wouldn't matter too much 1 year from now.
I know that this commentary is late (5 days after the video launched) but i really, really want to thank you for this video, you cleared up my mind much better then the others "do this before Rank 40" videos, i was so anxious because i don't have good 4 star realics and not every character is at a decent level with decent traces, but you really helped me calm down a know what i actually need to do, again, thank you so much for doing this video
im f2p at TL 43, cleared all simulated universe (can auto now), got 10 chars built (6 at lvl60 and 4 at level50), and cleared all forgotten hall 3 stars. havent touch memory of chaos yet. never touch a relic domain yet and im shocked to find out that relic domain cost 40 energy lol. and currently farming to make every support light cone to 60 (currently they at 40-50) and the last 4 chars to 60 as well. so happy farming everyone
I just hit TL 40 (equilibrium 2), but can't even pass through SU world 3... I didn't touch any relic caverns, just using free relics from rewards, and only doing level, traces and LC (I only have 3* and some 4*).
Btw my team is just the starters: stelle, mitsuki, danheng, natasha, tingyun, asta (no other 5*, just got himeko from warp)
So... what should I do..
@@glantama7996 I'm also only using free relics and I'm able to reach world 6 at TL38. I believe you can do the same or even better. Just make sure that everyone's level is maxed out (including their light cones) because those stats matter and get lucky with blessings of your chosen path. Also for relics I only leveled those free ones to +6/+9 so far.
I'll focus on just a main team for now, not gonna touch MoC or the rest of FH for a while, if ever. Still looks like a daunting task for half the "needed" characters.
This vid I feel helped me in learning how to proceed in where I am right now. I'm currently around the mid-30s in my TL and have struggled a little bit because of lacking the Ascension materials for characters I have and desire to use.
I'll also take to heart leveling up traces as well, because those I feel can really help in the long-term
One thing I'm sad about is, In genshin if there was no time limit on the boss we could see senbos constipated face as envi tried to defeat them with his COPIUM af builds. But this game almost requires u to run decent at the very least builds or lose for sure. But who knows, maybe even a funnier journey is waiting
That's crazy, i literally came to understand all of this yesterday but now I have a video to put the numbers together for me. I am TL 47 and now it's time to farm away for exp, I did too much and leveled up 11 units to 60 but oh well. It is what it is.

cannot stress this enough that world 3 is FAR more better to farm. the 24% attack set is BiS for most (except jing yuan). addionaly there is the 12%LP AND stackable 8% attack for all (together 24%). great for all supports. of course you can have a different opinion.
in the special shop in every region the amount of currency gives u credits exp jades and stuff and they're in every world! make sure to check those out too!

Yeah, I'm sure we will, people are crying that we barely get anything, but they're forgetting that we're not world level 6 in genshin, we're barely at the halfway point, I'm sure we're getting more drops with higher Equilibrium levels
At the max lvl you'll be leveling new characters all the way from 0 to the max so it'll eat your resources to shit every time :D Right now it's gradual, at least.

ive been avoiding relics until i get to 50. for now its talent materials now that I have 13 chars at 60/60 and their lightcones.
i bought the battlepass and it gave me such a boost. i may to next patch ad 1.2 then go back to just the 30 day.
i just took the relics and the free su points give you slapped them on, and if its a good one, lvl 6. the boss materials now are holding me back in talent upgrades
THIS is the guide i needed
For me I have all my traces for the characters I use at level 6. I am keeping ut at level 6 until I reach equilibrium level 6 or 7. rn I am farming relics and I have found some goods one for fire MC, Serval and for my future Kafka. I also have some for welt and some other characters. Anyway This method works for me since I can maintain about 1.2 mil credits everyday It's not growing as fast but at least I have some for the future. It will, also be easier to farm trace mats when the drop rate is bigger so I can save credits that way too

Now the question: after u reach tl 50 or other "wall", will the exp thats over the wall will be counted after u purposely not to increase the equilibrium level?
Like in genshin, if u decide to to raise the adventure level, the exp still accumulates and then all is added after u break the limit. Is it the same in star rail or not?
I believe its the same. After reaching tl 30, I increased the equilibrium lvl a little late and after completing it , I directly went to tl 31.

Do not farm relics in 30-40 TL
get your ascend mats before 40 for your 8 chars..
Farm Relics after 40 TL.. you get more, but maybe you should farm more traces =P
I just hit 50 today, my farmed material only get me to ascend 4 character( my main team) and split my books I saved to level 3 of them to 65. I run out of credit
I don't see how people are saying they keep running out of credits.. I've got my main team to 60, working on traces, and still have over 1mil. I guess it's because I learned to focus on 4-5 characters not trying to level EVERY character to 60 all at once
I screwed myself over with equalibrium and can't even do 1/3 of a enemies HP before everyone dies and it's apart of main quest so I literally can even progress in the story what do I do?
I have way too many characters i want to level up😭😭 suffering from success i guess, but the resources are scarce

actually if you're above tl40 you can try gambling on relics especially for your dps. i did that and at first i got ass relics but it was worth it at the end after i got the good pieces because now my seele can carry me in every "domains" i do and not to mention i finish them all quickly. now im just balancing my "resin" usage on mats and credits
I saw the video banner and was like "OH DAMN" because i was farning relics (TL44 now), but watching the video i realized i did the same as envy. I also farmed for Jing Yuan's relics and got unlucky, but my DEF set is absurdly good hahahahhaha at least my new Gepard will be a massive tank 😂
Good tip on the traces. I am farming for Jing Yuan as well but i am basically done now, i think i will farm the books and credits to prepare for AR50 now
Gepard is slowly becoming my fave unit. Just really reliable.

I'm at TL 35 but I felt like I needed to at least get a few good 4-star relic sets since I was struggling with simulated universe world 4 and up. Probably just a skill issue (or lack of better characters and light cones) in my case, but I feel like a solid 4-star set would also help in farming for 5-stars and making a lot of other content easier, so it may not be "efficient" but I feel it's practical for me, but only to max out the decent relics I'm actively using.
i beat world 3-5 consecutively at tl34 with only the sets that were given by the game and can go 12/13 battles in world6. i understand it feels better for u but if u just grind world3 with the focus of farming the ability tree points, u would realize that it was kind of a waste of ur power farming relics that shouldve went to other mats that would be more useful in the future. but ofc, at the end of the day do what u think is best for UR acc and have fun :))
@Kurt That's fair, but I also play Genshin and have reached the point where I don't use resin at all anymore, so I'm pretty sure at some point the same thing will happen in HSR. That's why I'm not too worried about not "maximizing" my farms early on. What I do know is that having better relics now will help me with the content I need to face currently and for having better stats when I start farming for gold relics, so I don't think it will be a waste. And yes, I'm having more fun now after getting better relics, which is what's important, so you're absolutely right about that!
At that level you may want to clear every chest on every map, as some of them do drop *4 relic. Then you might want to farm relic.

@@wreck8 same i farmed relics just to get gold set w main stats on my main4 so i used up some fuel. now at tl44 im taking it slow and using the natural tb power so i progress slower and farm more mats for tl50.
I gave up trying to get even the main stat for Seele's quantum set at TL45, there's just far too many variables and not enough efficiency. Relic farming ended up even worse than artifacts because of how many more variables there are on top of being 6 pieces, with 4 + 2 or 2 + 2 + 2 sets, with no room for an off piece that can be anything.
I thought the samw after spending like 8+ fuel for quantum relic and did not get any right main stat for gold or even purple quantum set.
I have utterly ignored relics and just used what the game has handed me.
3 characters at level 70 now with traces almost maxed. (Some of them require weekly boss materials at that stage).
Focus on trace materials, exp materials and credits if necessary.

Hey. I know this video is 4 months old but I am still gonna talk about what team I currently use. My team is a bit controversial. I use Fire MC, Welt, Qingque, and Lynx(before Lynx, I used Bailu). I mostly have welt go first, because of his ability to slow enemies, and I use Lynx as my main healer. I use Fire MC for defense and sub DPS, both. Now, Qingque is my main damage dealer(DPS). I use her ult first after she's gone in her hidden hand state, and then I use the enhanced basic after using her ult, and I get the same damage as I did with the ult. I have her at E4(Fire MC too), and she really does well. I've gotten through the game for sure, but with Bailu as my healer. Lynx will do better, though.

Question: difference in power bt a set of artifact 4 stars at lv12(just for the main stat) vs a set of artifat 5 stars at lv9 (just main stat)

The Last 3 level of a 5 star artifact are equal to the first 12,it's really a grind so i see many stops at 9-12 and only go to 15 for elem/crit rate(if the rolls are good still 12)

For equilibrium 3 (TL40-50) which simulated universe should I use immersifiers? World 3 difficulty 2 or world6 difficulty 1?
I'd say world 6 is still better but world 3 can work as well
My only question is: Who thought it was a good idea to stick 2 hunt fighters, 1 Nihilist, and 1 tank with no outside healing???
Instructions unclear. TB43 and my main 4 have their traces and extras maxed out. Need to get into the relic grind for the four and eventually make time for mats for their ascension and light cones. I have a few characters for the second party, but Forgotten Halls is not a priority. May work on them at TB50 depending on if I get newer units.
Do you get relics too if you cannot finish the SU World?
i barely could do SU3. and i'm TL39. Char lvl and LC are 49/50. Traces on my team are 3-4-4-4. still only beat SU3 once. so unfortunately, i've been doing relic runs cause i'm too weak TT

are maxing characters really that important in this game? from what i know max level for chars is at lvl 80, and in genshin most of my sub dps and support characters are at like lvl 70/80, just with leveled talents and they do the job so i was thinking maybe i could only max my main dps and leave support and sub dps chars at 60/70 as well and just level talents? but im not so sure if it would really put me behind if i dont level all my chars up, so please enlighten me and correct me if im wrong.
Really late response but for the people in the future, there are 3 traits in ascension unlike 2 in Genshin, and the last one only unlocks in ascension 6. So yes it is important eventually in some chars. Don't waste your time leveling damaging skills and and extra stats on supports untill you're quite far into the game, focus the damage dealers and support skills.

meh idk u can just hit the daily farm routes to level up your characters not sure if prefarming XP material is worth it, only lightcone and credits

i cant even get past world 5 with jin yuan his light cone e2 yingyun and bonya light cone. gepard etc strugglin dunno. get to kafka at end of world 5 and only get 1 stage down
How do you go about deciding which characters to prioritize? I'm having a lotta trouble getting through memory of chaos. Only got 2 stars on floor 1 and 2, then 1 star on floor 3. Didn't pull Jing Yuan. Got jack, not even Sushang or Tingyun eidolons, just a whole lotta March 7th when I have Gepard... Serval just doesn't cut it for damage, especially when the elements don't line up. I got a lil tilted and leveled up 14 characters for each element in as many roles as possible, and still can't clear MoC. I feel like my bottleneck is relics. Most of my units have to swap around all the freebie Wild Wheat sets and I just don't have enough BiS sets for my characters. Even my Seele is sitting on 2p Wild Wheat and 2p Quantum set. Luckily I have like 5 speed boots, but even then, I just lack damage.
Are u leveling your artifacts? 2pc sets on seele should be totally fine. Also its sounds like you may be spreading your resources thin. Just invest in your gep and natasha to a decent level with their traces, make sure light cones leveled, then level up 4star artifacts for your dps and pick a support that works for them
That sounds kinda normal. Just keep it to 8-10 characters. 60-70 is gonna be fuckin brutal. Dont over invest in support artifacts just get their hp to 12 so you dont get 1 shot.

At TL 37 i kept farming World 6 for the crit pieces but never got lucky. I always get hp and def with the crit set. I couldn't even get an atk% sphere for seele. So I focused on her talents instead I maxed it all out 60/60 4-6-6-6 and maxed out. I've never been lucky with artifacts and relics. It's like Genshin all over again
How do you guys so easily beat SU World 5 and 6 before TL 40 with just lvl 60 characters. Don't you just have 4 star relics? How far have you leveled those?

@@Over-mh3wr it's lvl 50 and the way was nihility for me at world 5. For World 6, Seele and fire mc make it real easy. You can also pick abundance path to make it auto farmable
@@Over-mh3wr preservation path is great if you have Gepard which was my first 5* on beginner banner. Otherwise, I use The Hunt, I actually couldn't finish Cocolia with just Preservation path, I switched to Hunt path and I cleared first try. I level the 4* relics to 12 especially for the carry (in my acc it was Sushang, Serval (before jing yuan) and Seele. SU is pretty easy but RNG with the blessings so you also have to be a little lucky

If u don’t pre farm ascension material how would you be able to really even beat the next equilibrium ascension level with ur units not getting stronger
You cannot ascend your characters before beating that trial

You can usually bypass this hurdle with food buffs + a cracked support in your friend list

8:15 this is wrong as the traces farm do not get that much better at TL 50, it is very similar. you should farm both exp mats and traces mats at 40

so like im TB 41 Equilibrium 3 as a day 1 player, yeah, im doing the chars, lightcones especially their traces, ill try to copy the way he level for the DPS and supports on traces since that's what i need to give chance on my other characters... it may be slow progress, and im still doing Simulated World 6 (got slapped hard at cocolia but at least im farming points at the same time for the tree), so... wish me luck....
plus, i may aint gonna get the BP on this one, i have enough welkin and BP on genshin last year or so but i need to stop it......
I’m thinking I may end up delaying advancing my world level. I’m at TL 45 and basically have no resources farmed for ascending and leveling my characters and light cones to 70. The xp you earn while your trailblaze level is capped is still banked for when you eventually progress the world level, right?

Idk if you already finished the su world 5 rn. But if you're still struggle with it, try the abundance path with anatta+anicca resonance to counter kafka debuff and if you lucky pick some remembrance(the one that says every 6 hit blablabla)/preservation that give you shield every 2 turns(the golden one). Then the cd curio if it popped out, pick it(optional)

It is just genshin all over again so i hope genshin players can learn from their previous experiences

What’s your team and what path did you pick?
This is just a suggestion-
But try using March 7th, FMC, Natasha and Serval. There levels can be at 40
Get their light cones to at least level 40 and for relics you can choose anything you have
Then choose path of preservation and get the energy regen on when you get 6 blessings. After that you can leave it on auto battle. This works for my acc (ar least on difficulty 1)
But you might find this hard to believe so it's uty if you wanna try it or not
Hunt path completely destroyed this for me. Like... it wasn't even funny how quick he died. I WAS STRUGGLING doing remembrance path thought I was way to weak, nope just needed to swap paths.

Sometimes u need strategies a lots like no matter how u lose,u can upgrade the tree,character level,relic,light conds until u can pass it. Also i gave suggestion like if u choose the hunt,u can include the abundance or preservation inside because i did that honestly and i pass it same as i beat world 4 and 5 but sometimes u need to keep progressing until u beat the world u want depends Ur strategies
Here I am TL49 and I am JUST now working on traces for my characters. It took from TL40-47 to get their levels and light cones up to 60 and I haven't even started relic farming yet. You level up way too fast in this game and I feel like I am always behind. I have been using fuel yes, but only to farm the mats for my characters and light cones. I level up every other day and I'll be TL50 soon with nothing prepared. Its kinda impossible to follow this "guide" when you're leveling up all the time and inching closer to TL50 and have nothing prepared because you're still working on stuff for when you hit TL40
You are probably lvling uo every single character in the game otherwise there is no way it took you that much to max out 4 or 8 characters
@@kailasnathks2168 I am only leveling 8 characters for Memory of Chaos and yeah it did take that long. You get a level pretty much every day and I have no time to pre-farm or even try and do relics. Like I literally just hit TL50 and am no where near prepared
@@ESpencer97that's weird. I maxed out 5 characters to level 60, and 4 more already ascended, but not yet 60, and only max level important traces for each of my team, and I'm still TL42. I did some relics run and got some okay pieces with it. I still have about 2.2m credits and a whole lot of purple exp and lightcone materials.

@@rolf1819 First off stop being an ass. Second I am not crying so you can stop with that condescending attitude. And third no not everyone is in the same situation. Clearly others have been able to pre-farm or start their relic during the 40-50 levels. Currently 53 almost 54 and I have not been able to start relic farming at all and it took me to 52 to finish the traces on 8 characters from the 40 ascension. I am only done with 3/8 characters so far at the 50 ascension. You level up too fast to even do anything then all of a sudden you're out of mats and you're nearing the next ascension only to not have anything pre-farmed and your relics are still bad cause you're using ones you got from level 20. So yeah everyone's situation is different
180 stamina is beyond belief low. Like wtf
pretty much every events give u books and exp materials. dont force yourselves to farm these all the time! by time goes it will be just like genshin
I accidentally upgraded jingyuan talent to lvl 8....
best thing to prefarm are the shadows, for the ascension materials.
at TL 40 you get 3 per run, at TL50 you get 4 per run, the increased rate is terrible compared to the rate increase you get for all the other things.
I think its 2 per run.. but correct me if im wrong

Just upgrade 4-6 chars to max lv trace lightcone , piority tingyun natasha fire mc 7th dang hen/shushang, you can use team clara tingyun 7th natasha

@@seragalshbel3696 that's called fuel in hsr, you should save them to at least tl 40, the later eq level the better, I think it's better to use at tl 50 to finish the forgotten hall (which is spiral abyss in ge) before it reset

Try using the hunt path and try to get every single hunt blessing you could get.
I wanna know why you guys stop at traces lvl 4-5? Why? When u can just upgrade them to give ur character better skill, talent, attack boost
