- Something a bit different (but still dragons yay) - a Raya and the Last Dragon speedpaint! I just saw this movie last weekend and quite enjoyed it. Being half Vietnamese it was just very cool and meaningful to see a Disney movie taking place in a Southeast Asian-based setting, with a Vietnamese-American actress voicing the protagonist.
Plus being about dragons as well, the movie was practically speaking to me XD So this drawing for Raya is something I have wanted to do for a while, ever since the movie was announced. In fact I did mean for this to be released on the movie's opening day, but ho hum I got buried in schoolwork and other stuff x_x
Still, hope you enjoy :) I did make a slight design change to Sisu (her teeth) since I do wish she had more dragon-y features. But I'm not nearly as upset as some other people might be out there lol. I love how she was rigged, her animation is so smooth and a really good reference for my own sona XD

I haven't watched the movie yet but I don't avoid spoilers so I already know basically every little detail about Raya and the last dragon and am obsessed. Also, I'm so glad you did a speedpaint of it. It looks amazing

Try out different shading styles. It took me 3 years to find one lol

@@MelRaeJ Yeah. I found my shading style by doing something different each time. I don’t have a consistent style, but I do have ones I go back to.
