Ark Survival Ascended was released in early access in October of 2023 and was developed and published by Studio Wild Card. The Center map was released in June of 2024.
Thyla is a good way. You can also use a Pyroname if you jump first on the pillars by the pool, after that you can jump in the Artifact area. A shadowmane would probably be able too also. The thing with the Pyroname is you wont die if you fall in lava. Jump to be on the surface then find a way to jump out the there.
I am glad the thyla works, because screw that mario/tomb raider crap puzzles they keep putting in Ark.

EDIT: I am not sure if the Thyla skip is a bug or if it is on official servers, but it does trivialize this. Also the Tek Chest does currently work inside the jump puzzle as well.
You could do that with the Thyla in ASE, It has always been a thing. Ive used it for years in that game glad its still a thing!!
I would be interesting in seeing if this works on official in ASA. I always remembered getting dismounted riding a mount in there, but that was quite a while ago.
You could but your Thyla would start taking damage
I haven’t even tried it yet but already ordering a new mouse and keyboard for when I do 😂.
I think using a proc is best to do it

Not sure if they patched it or not, but I brought a baryonyx and a megalania thinking the megalania could fill in for a thyla and oddly enough the baryonyx could go through the invisible wall and walk past the water pool up to the wall you scale to get to the artifact. The megalania couldn't get past the invisible barrier so I tried riding the bary to the wall you need to scale and deploy the megalania there, but it wouldn't let me unpod it. This is on a single player world.
Man, I'm glad I didn't pay for this crap. It's criminal what they did to the Crystal Path, that lava looks like crap and it's super dark everywhere. It changes the whole aesthetic of the cave.
I'm curious if they'll still allow climbing picks in here and zip lines and whatnot when they release Aberration.

Btw, ASE you could take a Thyla in there, or even a Rock Drake, but it would take damage. Curiously I tried to take a Crystal Drake in there today and it gets stopped by an invisible wall.
I think they might have already patched it - all my creatures run into an invisible wall just after the spot where you put your bed. Releasing them from pods on the other side of that wall teleports them out (either back to the wall or somewhere into the mesh @-@")
Is this on official or in a private server?
@@kalive SP. But I also just realised I was able to pass through on a Cerato and in hindsight the creatures I tried weren't Thylas specifically (don't have one yet) but other climbers.
The Thyla might have a special exception at the moment since according to the wiki in ASE it was able to enter the room as well, it just took a lot of true damge per second iirc
I fucking hate this puzzle. Ark has no business implementing platforming until their physical collision meshes match the visual meshes.
take parachutes and you can skip huge portions of the puzzle
This is like almost impossible when servers level movement
