My name is Simrat Sahota.I have successfully cleared NDA written examination and SSB interview.
Subsequently, underwent Basic Military Training for three years at National Defence Academy,Pune.Due to a medical injury,my dream of becoming an officer in the army got shattered but I hope that thru these videos many other aspirants can fulfill their dreams.

Why I want to join the defense forces -
1. I want to be the first commissioned officer from my family and my village.
2. No other jobs provide the sense of brotherhood like army.... A person gets a chance to work with best minds of country in the forces.

4. Most adventurous and disciplined life.
5. Looks very well after you and your family.
6. Great facilities and good salary.
I've cleared AFCAT just by watching UA-cam videos of sahil sir and 1 other channel .. and I feel it's one of the best ways to serve our country .. not only the pride or uniform but the work culture of Airforce attracts me.. and From failing in airman exam entry to clearing afcat written .. just preparing for Airforce helped me to be a better person and now it's my turn to give back to the organization
I want to join the Indian Airforce for several reasons first of all I want to See the pride in my father's eyes when he will see me in the Uniform as he being a Nayak in the Indian Army has always seen the Lifestyle of an Officer who always portrays as an ideal person for his troops always maintained "takaa taka" Perfect.I also want to prove myself that the backbenchers/a naughty kid can become a part of such an elite force of the country and give the nation his best with his zeal/passion and I want to experience the fauji life/adventurous way which I always dreamt of from my Childhood.

I belong to a rural area and there is not a single officer from our village. I always wanted to be a pilot and in my 11th std. I get to know that I can also serve my nation as a pilot being in INDIAN AIRFORCE (right now in the last year of my graduation.) since the day, I want to be a fighter pilot in Airforce. AT LAST, I WILL SHINE ONE DAY & YEAH, I WILL BE THE FIRST OFFICER FROM MY VILLAGE.♥
Joining IAF is my childhood dream. IAF is not only a job but it is a way of life. Sir I'm a civilian but being from the place where the centre of the Kumaon Regiment is located, it was my passion since childhood to join the defence forces. And among all the forces I was very passionate about the Indian Air force as the life of an airforce pilot is full of adventures and thrill.

Sir I got selected in airforce x group as an Airmen when my merit list came sir and my name is there then my parents are sitting near me and when I tell them and they see my name then sir i can see the best feeling in my parents eyes and if such a small thing can give them a feeling I have never seen then when I become a officer in iaf then there happiness and pride is unforgettable. The Reason why I will to join the Armed Forces Because the sacrifice which the Fauji makes for his Nation. I've always seen my parents, teacher's and my mates make a lots of Sacrifice. This sacrifice which they made payed them laurels in Return. The respect for any person increases when they're ready to Sacrifice anything ,be it there own life too.
And As General Philips Chetwode has mentioned in the Inaugural speech Of Indian Military Academy in 1932
"The safety, honour and welfare of your country come first, always and every time.
The honour, welfare and comfort of the men you command come next.
Your own ease, comfort and safety come last, always and every time."
I've also made sacrifices for all, but the Sacrifice the person who dons the uniform makes is really greater than anything. That's why I will to join the forces Sir. Although it's not any easy journey, but the more sacrifices anyone makes Today for the good, the better will be the day's ahead.

I come from an army background... So I've grown up with the idea embedded in me to give my services to the defence forces and the feeling of nationalism and patriotism included.
It is my personal preference to join the Airforce among the other defence forces because i want to be the best version of myself and i know that all three defecnce forces have the resources to recognise and increase my potential to the highest.... Apart from this... It was my calling that led me to select airforce as my career option.
I have the quench for knowledge and the passion to apply that on the ground or the air in my case(≧▽≦) so believe that i am fit for the Airforce. Thank you

I want to Join Indian Air Force as a fighter Pilot because in my childhood I watched a Border movie in that movie I saw hunter aircraft and the attraction of aircraft and In my family my father is a businessman and my grandfather was farmer .
I want to join Garud Special Forces and operate with the best weapon and the best men.
To be a pilot is my childhood dream whenever I saw a plane i always said that one day i will fly it but there were some circumstances at a moment I felt somewhere I have to leaves my studies after high school but with God Grace my father support me in my studies my now I am a commerce student and i drop m dream to became a pilot.. One day my best frnd suggest me if you cannot be a pilot still you can be a part of AIR FORCE through AFCAT . That was a turning point of my life and i start preparing for AFCAT 2 2022.and what kicked me for do hard work it is my father's smiling face in pain... He always support me...
joining IAF has been my dream as long as i can remember and i am looking forward to join you in a while.
It is because of the life Indian Airforce provides. A life full of discipline, adventures, challenges, honor, respect, security and principles. It not just mend your physical fitness but inner self. Everyone is serving the country in one way or the other but serving the country by becoming a part of this elite force gives you the honor that no other job can. This in itself is a completely different life. You became a warrior for life, you can take on anything.

I want to join the Indian air force as an officer because, I want to lead the troops from front in battle fields. And want to feel my parents proud on me.
From the inner heart of my soul it came that's why.
I want to join indian airforce ,there are several reasons for it . When i was a kid i used to see aeroplanes flying over my head ,at that time I didn't know what is it , but it was in mind that one day i will also sit in that thing .when i grew up ,after 12th class i took the exam of indian airmen , fortunately i cleared that exam , cleared phase 2 but unfortunately I got medically unfit , that was a temporary medical problem . So at that time i went 5- asc Jodhpur, nd there were fighters aircrafts were flying, when i heard its sound literally i got goosebumps. And i saw the lifestyle of the personels of the IAF .So from there i always had in my mind i will join indian airforce, I have got rejected earlier but still i haven't loose hopes .i am sure one day i will achieve my aim

Being from a village where there is a average of 1 person in defence from every house but not one of them being officer. I want to become a officer in either force so i can inspire further generation to also join as a officer.

Being an Ex NCC Air wing cadet and a TOP GUN fan I was always attracted towards the IAF. Making aircraft origami like SR 71 to finding different info about latest developments and of the past of aircrafts, this is the aim which I decided to achieve in life. Even though I was unable to clear my TES at Allahabad but getting to see a MIG 29 fly and the Mirage 2000 at the airport hangar was all worth it.
