You’ve come a long way since you filmed this one. It’s an amazing and inspiring ride.
Haha yes kinda scary to look back at these.
Make sure to hold your mash at 72 Celsius for a good 15 min to give it the Belgian body/sweetness it deserves.
I know everybody has an opinion. :) I know you’re trying to teach and offer instruction for beginning brewers. That is super cool of you. My preference though is videos with LOTS more brew day footage. It’s preference of course and it’s your channel. Do with that what you want. Cheers and thanks for taking the time to put something together.
Hey there from Ohio, maybe try adding a flame out addition of Styrians and then letting it steep uncovered for 1 hour before cutting on chilling cycle. This will cycle the beer all the way down to the lower 100's. There is 1 particular brewery in Ohio that does this with great success (works well for Triple also)
this is the 2nd or 3rd video you 'forgot' to take footage of the final product... =[
Keeping track there :-) Yes hopefully this is the last too
hello, i'm new to home brewing .. what does "1.0 pkg " means ? (how many grams of the amount of yeast)
Typically yeast is sold in a packet. One packet is usually enough for one batch of beer.
Great vid. 1.066 is pretty small for a BGSA. What was your FG and ABV?
Thanks. FG came in at 1.005 for 8% ABV. Sure is a dry beer.
Awesome! Planning my own and it's hard to know how much attenuation to expect. Good to have your data point although I will be using a different yeast. Thanks!!!
Hate those units, y do u use minutes? Don't u have breath units? xd

Thank you :-)
