      1) Firstly for both of you it could be done together, but it is based on the VFS consultants. If there is a same day appointment, then VFS team considers to do it together.

      After VFS sends your applications to German embassy, usually it is 1 to 2 weeks of time (at least in Chennai).

      I think there is a misunderstanding. If a working person loses job only then the 90 days of hard end restriction not for family reunion. If you're in a small town, you can get your card in 2 - 3 weeks. But if it is a bigger city then it will take few months of time. But don't worry you will get additional paper visa until you get your card.

      Hello Joy, Thanks for your kind feedback and congratulations on receiving your entry visa to Germany !
      What you got now is only the entry visa. This is the common process. After arriving in Germany, you need to apply for Residence Permit Card in Blue Card category. Only then you will receive your 4 years card.
      Entry visa is usually valid from 3 months to 1 year based on different cities. In Chennai, it is usually given for 6 months. I heard from Cochi, they give for 1 year.

      Validity wise it is okay to apply as you meet minimum 1 year validity criteria. Considering different address and just 1 more year validity, I would suggest renew your passport in Tatkal with right address. So that, you fix address, get more passport validity and since in Tatkal, you would not lose lot of time. Please explore this option.

      If your entry visa has MULT (multiple entry) option then you can re-enter. But the problem is it will also have your current employer's name in it. So there are possibilities to check about employer & job contract. So it is a tricky situation, better get in touch with Auslanderbehorde and decide. I heard it's also possible to take it only for 3 months from some providers. But this travel insurance should help you both for travel as well as for initial few months. After landing here, once you're registered with local city admin, then it's just a matter of a week or so to get insurance here. Conclusion is, please look for travel insurance, that should be enough to get visa approval. 🙂

    hi jegan, I would like to ask, im working here in Germany, and im married, i would like to get my wife here in Germany,, for now i already apply for blue card here , in Zab statement of comparability. how would I get my wife here what is the process ? thanks in advance for your reply 😊

      @jegankennedy 4 місяці тому

      Hi Jerwin, If you are in blue card then it is comparatively easier to bring partner here. If you are from India, then here is the checklist for required documents: india.diplo.de/blob/1816236/2b8917d36eada4f97d925a405d1ceb90/familyreunionspouse-data.pdf
      In simplified version, Your wife needs an appointment at VFS office to submit these documents and then embassy gives her the visa.

    Is there any scope to get blue visa for me, i am self-employed , online/ecommerce product seller, non-engineering and non-IT background . Any hope??

      Blue Card is not possible directly, but you can get a different visa for self employment. It's called as visa for self employment. You can find more info in this website: www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/types/other/self-employment

    Hi Jegan
    I have query regarding tax , I am moving alone to Germany and My family will stay in India , now under which tax class I will come . I am single earning person in my family so how can I avail more tax deduction?

    • @jegankennedy
      @jegankennedy 3 місяці тому

      Hi Abhishek, You will be in tax class 1. That is actually the most taxed slab. If you happen to live with your family here then you can be in tax class 3, that will reduce your tax liability considerably.

    Hi @jegankennedy,
    I got VISA approval from 01st-Mar-2024 and my reporting date in hired company also 01st-Mar-2024.
    So, Can I book flight and travel on 28th-Feb-2024 itself? Did they allow me to the german on 29th-Feb-2024 itself?
    Please help me..

      Hi Rajesh, No. You can enter only from 00:01 of 1st March. May be you can book a flight that starts late evening of 29th Feb from Indian city, but only lands in Europe afer 00:01 of 1st March.
      But I feel this will be very hectic for you, so better ask employer if you can report on 2nd of March.

      @@jegankennedy oh .. thank you very much for information.
      If incase employer refuse to change the reporting date, can we land in airport 29th 11:00PM and stay in airport till 00:01 ? (I mean can we wait 3 to 4 hours in Munich airport?)

    • @jegankennedy
      @jegankennedy 5 місяців тому

      By the time you arrive to the immigration desk, your visa validity should have been already effective. So just roaming around in the airport until 12 am looks a risky option (though it's an option). But if you choose this option, there are chances that Indian immigration desk can also question about the landing time at your destination airport. So my preferred option would be asking at employer. I understand some employers will only have 1st of every month as joining date. But your situation is slightly difficult. Please choose a wise option, don't get into troubles on your first day. (Just my opinion)
