The minus 2 formula by removing corrupt, mass-murderers like Hasina and Khaleda Zia would have saved Bangladesh from 15 years of dictatorship and every single one of the children that was killed last month would have been alive now. Awami League and BNP are not democratic political parties, they are parties of 2 specific families where those 2 families have been deciding every single thing of those parties since the independence of Bangladesh. So to put it simply, the fate of entire Bangladesh was always decided by 20 or so members of the Sheikh or Zia family apart from the time of Military rule. These two parties have millions of supporters, political leaders who are educated, far more progressive and people centric than the murderous two families yet in over 50 years not BNP nor Awami league ever even tried to move from the 2 families. These 2 parties don't server Bangaldesh, they serve the 2 families .Why on earth as a Bangladeshi, will I want such parties to be my government? Bangladesh is a democracy not a modern day Monarchy. People like you might enjoy being sl@ve to Awami Leagues or BNPs but not average Bangaldeshis. We fought to free Bangladesh for a second time.
People from all parts of the society have been subjected to politically motivated violence and not just any specific religious minorities. Current interim government is taking encouraging actions to reform the economy, judiciary and law and order. One of the major issue here is that the political parties and the civil societies expecting Dr. Yunus to perform a quick miracle but reforming a country after 15 years of dictatorship will take some time. The people of Bangladesh will decide when they wish for a fair and open election. The relationship between India and Bangladesh was a master and subservient relationship. This has to change, we must have a Bangladesh government that can build a relationship with India in equal terms. India also need to understand that they need to accept any party as the ruling party based on peoples mandate and she should not try to manipulate internal politics of Bangladesh. The main political parties criticised the recent speech to the nation by Dr. Yunus, because they were expecting a road map for the next election - that is all they care about but not willing to reform themselves. The political parties like BNP and AL also need to reform themselves. It is no doubt AL will face an existential crisis but it is their own making. If we want a stable future government then all parties need to reform, we cannot have the future political leaders selected based on blood connections with political dynasties. The heads of the parties must be selected using democratic process by arranging elections within parties event if the majority of the party members choose to select a member of the political dynasty. This must be done to show transparency, fairness and openness. Political parties must not interfere with the judiciary system, economic governance and law and order institutions. A blunt message from the students is that - political parties must reform or die. There are no other alternatives. We cannot go back to old style of politics of revenge, retribution, nepotism, abduction and cronyism. People of Bangladesh are sick of this endless cycle of corruption, violence for the last 50 years - enough is enough. Lets build a nation on unity, fairness and justice.
Every country will look to guard its own interest and if India bashing in Bangladesh fetches votes for your politicians then they will certainly turn any agreement or negotiation with India as a sell out deal in India's favour as this is very low hanging fruit to fetch votes and to target the Kafirs. India should freeze issuing visas to you so that you then understand what a broken relationship looks like. Just note India had issued 16 lakhs visas to Bangladesh people in 2023, now do not tell me they were all Sheikh Hasina relatives or AL politicians.

India has always been concerned only about Hindus in Bangladesh, and the sight of people with `Dari` and `Tupi` has always unsettled both India and local secularists. In my 35 years, I've seen how they've turned 'Jamat' into the biggest boogeyman of South Asia. The global spread of Islamophobia has only added fuel to the fire. Do not forget that almost 90% of Bangladeshis are Muslim. People accuse Muslims of forcefully converting others, which I've never seen in my life. In my experience, it’s India and secularists who have been pressuring Bangladeshis to abandon their religious traditions-or be tagged as 'Jamat.' *Not claiming 'Jamatis' are or were 'Fershtas' either. If we want to create an inclusive country, we must stop othering people based on religious belief. Any religious belief.
You have rose tinted glasses. There has been systemic violence against hindus in Bangladesh from its creation till now. You cannot say that its just some bad elements. There is a reason why hindus are less than 10% in BD now. Most of them escaped death, rape and persecution and found refuge in India. At the center of every hardline islamist is to create a sharia society only for muslims. Other faiths have no place in that society. That is the primary reason why India and Indians are "Wary". We have seen how islamic terrorism destroys lives and families in India. Our western neighbor Pakistan is the best example. Don't become Pakistan or worse Afghanistan and we're good.
Here are the reasons why people are mad - 1. India supported BAL and Hasina for the last 15 years and did everything to make sure she is in power to support India’s interests 2. In last 52 years all the treaties signed where India was the beneficiary party. 4. India always behave like a big brother 5. All the water sharing was never resolved 6. India never interested to import from Bangladesh but exports 10 folding more 7. Tens of thousands Indian citizens work illegally in Bangladesh and never pays taxes 8. India wants to use Bangladeshi ports but don’t want to pay and customs 9. Border killings 10. Never allow SAARC grow and allow Nepal and Bangladesh to do trading 11. The relationship between India and Bangladesh needs to be between the Mass to Mass and not only between a few individuals in the Govt who clearly do not represent the Mass. Let the Mass people connect and develop a workable and mutual beneficial relationship.

It's time to find a new approach for better ties with neighboring countries.
@@Niamah618 so how did Modi support Hasina, did he militarily support her in crushing your movement, did he selectively target your opposition leaders or student leaders. It is your people who have emboldened her as that is the kind of political culture in your country where the winner has it all and victimises the opposition virtually giving them no space that is your social upbringing and societal values you have imbibed. So wat is India supposed to do. Bangladesh is suffering from Mexican syndrome where you have an inherent inferiority complex, which converts into victimhood and scorn against the major neighbouring nation. This is then suitably amplified by your politicians in building and anti-India narrative in their interest as this is a pretty low hanging fruit which could fetch them votes and showcase them as a patriotic leader. If you made her an autocratic leader because of your opposition incapacity then it is not India's problem. When you negotiate a problem and reach a settlement of disputes then it is always some give and take and your opposition politicians will always highlight what Bangladesh has given away to suit their narrative. Also when India gives Sheikh Hasina a seat at high tables like G20 it is for the people of Bangladesh, not Hasina and you need to understand this. Do not worry about India's foreign policy it is safe hands and we know how to deal with our neighbours and it wouldn't always be a carrot and stick approach. So do not beat the anti-India drum so hard it breaks and then you will be in a far worse of situation than Pakistan.
@@AjitKumar-lo9yu Looking back at India's history, in 1971, India played a crucial role in helping Bangladesh gain independence, and for that, Bangladesh is deeply grateful. Hasina has long been an ally of India, having been sheltered there between 1971 and 1981. However, things changed when she returned to power in 2009 and abolished the caretaker government, which had ensured free and fair elections in Bangladesh. Since then, India has used RAW to intervene in Bangladesh's politics, with the Modi government and its predecessors supporting Hasina's dictatorship for their own benefit. Issues like the river water dispute, border killings, and the Adani electric supply project remain unresolved, yet Hasina has given India everything it needs. India's role in making Hasina an autocratic leader cannot be ignored. During the last election, while the West pressured Hasina for free and fair elections, the Modi government instead worked to keep her in power, using tactics like playing the minority card and exploiting Hindu-Muslim tensions. If India wants to act as a big brother to Bangladesh, it should do so fairly, without bullying. Bangladesh's current government seeks a friendly, win-win relationship with India. After all, you can choose your friends, but not your neighbors. India's foreign policy is clearly failing, and it’s affecting relationships with neighboring countries.
Oh yeah we saw your gratefulness when you had burnt down the Indian culture centre and pissed own your father of the nation which u r intellectuals were also defending, otherwise you would have peed on their head. I differ with this gentleman in many things but I respect this man very much. He has nicely described about the recent incidents in Bangladesh. Both Bangladesh and India should repair the damage of relation for the last fifteen years on the basis of mutual trust, respect and interest. India must make friendship with the people of Bangladesh not any person or any family or any party. India's blind support to Hasina has made her a dictator, autocrat, fascist and a monster. It has destroyed Awame Leage too.
The present situation in Bangladesh reminds me of the post-Emergency period of 1977. Just after the Emergency Mrs. Gandhi lost her seat, and her Congress party was wiped out in the elections of March 1977. The Janata Party, a disparate group of extreme right and left, came together to form a government on the rhetoric of putting an end to Mrs. Gandhi's dictatorship. The Janata Party leaderships also like the present interim government of Banglades, talked incessantly of what an evil Mrs. Gandhi had been. But just after a year and a half, they fought amongst themselves, and the government fell. In 1980 Mrs. Gandhi roared back to power. The only difference between the two situations is that in India, it all happened through the power of the ballot, but in Bangladesh, it was the power of the bullet.
😂😂😂 a stupid analogy. Hasina 's reaction to criticism was to eliminate them, politicise public institutions and threaten free speech. Also all I hear some-silly Indians saying Jamaat will take control... 😂 Your an idiot if you think a party that only gets 4-5% of the vote... Will take power? - No Miss Universe or Miss World … even a lower level standing for both female’s or Men’s events.
- No eminence in education, science and technology, space, Military might … practically ZERO
- They only have Jute even in that India is over them in total yield with not much of forex generating possibility
- Art, Culture and Food - they cannot match the Bengali population India predominantly Hindus bring to the table.
Net net over this people are unruly. You were the Mastermind of Minus 2 Formula😢
🤣🤣🤣 there are some who never learns.
Well said bro!
Every country will look to guard its own interest and if India bashing in Bangladesh fetches votes for your politicians then they will certainly turn any agreement or negotiation with India as a sell out deal in India's favour as this is very low hanging fruit to fetch votes and to target the Kafirs.

In my experience, it’s India and secularists who have been pressuring Bangladeshis to abandon their religious traditions-or be tagged as 'Jamat.'
*Not claiming 'Jamatis' are or were 'Fershtas' either.
Here are the reasons why people are mad -
1. India supported BAL and Hasina for the last 15 years and did everything to make sure she is in power to support India’s interests
2. India always thinks that they liberated Bangladesh whereas it was never possible if Bangladeshi people did not want it.
3. In last 52 years all the treaties signed where India was the beneficiary party.
4. India always behave like a big brother
5. All the water sharing was never resolved
6. India never interested to import from Bangladesh but exports 10 folding more
7. Tens of thousands Indian citizens work illegally in Bangladesh and never pays taxes
8. India wants to use Bangladeshi ports but don’t want to pay and customs
9. Border killings
10. Never allow SAARC grow and allow Nepal and Bangladesh to do trading
11. They are very vocals about minority rights but their own track record is not so great
And the list goes on and on …..
1971 was for their self benefit too, having a much smaller Pakistan and less populous Pakistan is always a wet dream for India.

Constitution can be changed for the greater benefit of the state
It's not permanent.Dr yunus has just taken the power as an interim govt.He has cleared in his speech that his main task is to hold an neutral election as soon as possible and all the parties have agreed with him in this matter
Current situation is not unconstitutional. The interim government act was there before. Constitution was changed by Hasina government.
So Hasina being in power by her goons casting my vote was constitutional in past two elections?
I wouldn't consider anything she did as constitutional, as she came to power with farse election, that's the first fundamental right of ppl she revoked. She operated an illegitimate govt, while the current govt never claimed to come to power thru electoral votes but an interim govt which will hold elections soon as soon as things are better.
The current govt has much better legitimacy becoz it's not based on deception and deceit, they are what they claim to be, an interim unelected govt, but also a govt by popular mandate.

It has destroyed Awame Leage too.
Exactly, Reform firstly, then after Election.!

Isn't that called ultimate delusion? However... since you're totally unprepared to hear voices from the actual ground... your opinions have completely ceased to matter in this regard! You're now reduced to a fully non-functional individual bystander with meaningless rants in the head...
Thats your problem.you give a blind eye to Awami League without any question, and now when he is speking the real picture you can't even tolerate this.Indian have never thought of what people of Bangladesh are saying, rather they have praised that dictator killer and provided her shelter

Being the largest democracy in the world how can India supported an autocratic Govt. India should make relationship with people and country not with an individual.

Indian diplomats act more like thugs than friends; there is no people-to-people hatred between nations.
Mahfuz Anam is a hated editor, he is considered an Indian agent and one of the movers of 1/11 that brought Hasina in power. You can see this in the book of Indian president Pranab Mukharjee. We have another political analyst Goutam Das who talked about Mahfuz Anam being an Indian agent:
