Flora Fridays: Knobthorn | Senegalia nigrescens

Instructor Mike Anderson teaches us about the knobthorn tree previously part of the Acacia family but now known at Senegalia nigrescens. Not only is this tree at the top of the menu for giraffe and various browsing antelope but can also be used to treat a blood nose. Watch this video to find out more.
