I like to think that Fatalis only do the tongue flick at humans. Which is why we always see it in their cutscenes. Maybe to display its intelligence, aswell as its fabled hatred towards humanity. Or like, to instill as much fear in us as it can. I hope that's what's going on.
Ahh I was so happy to see this in my recommended. Fatalis is my favorite monster, and I don't think anything can dethrone him. Nothing can be more special than the ultimate monster, the Black Dragon, a creature with such a hatred for humanity that he burned an entire kingdom to the ground. A dragon that breathes fire so hot that rock crumbles and melts. I've always loved dragons, especially the "evil" ones, the super powerful and scary ones, so Fatalis is right up my street. I wish I could have one in the Stories games, but of course he's way too special to be raised and ridden by a human.
@@granthefato340 Mostly he caught my eye, admittedly, because he kinda reminds me of Sephiroth. But everything else I mentioned still stands too, though some of the reasoning for what I like about Sephiroth and what I like about Fatalis overlap, each is kind of a super powerful and menacing "ultimate life-form." Both beautiful and terrible.
I was hoping this could end with proof of a hero, but none the less it was beautiful. As an OG player, old fatalis theme may not be as colourful as the new, but it still holds up well.
