Your doing a great job dear.....can you please tell us the difference between idioms n proverbs....also where n when to use said, told, talk, speak, looking and searching....🙏
Hello, teacher Rebecca. Excellent lesson, as usual. "Keep your chin up" is like saying "mantén la frente en alto", so in Spanish we use the word forehead instead of chin. Thank you for your helpful class. Good luck!
These sentences can really change someone's life. They're powerful. In the right moment, when you listen to them, and feel them, you become more and more confident.
Dear Rebeca; Your lectures are so useful and I firmly believe that you are not just a good lecturer, at the same time you are an angel...All the best for you..
Hi Rebecca, I'm back just for more examples in French : Where there's a will, there's a way! Quand on veut, on peut ! There's light at the end of the tunnel! Il a toujours de la lumière à la fin du tunnel !
Ma'am, thank you so much for your positive attitude. I love your class. The way you presenting the class is very attractive and simple. I'm watching your classes recently. Now I'm addicted for your classes. God bless you abundantly.🙏
A Very Happy Teachers'Day to you Ma'am... love from India! ❤️❤️ May God's blessings be always with you and your family...thanks for being such a lovely teacher! ☺️
Hi Rebecca, thank you for the excellent English lesson. In South Asia we have a very prominent proverb: "Distant Drums sound more melodious (better)". The English equivalent of this proverb is: "the grass is always greener on the other side" 😂
Grass is greener on the other side. We have this saying in our language too. What it means to me is "Don't be jealous of others, just do your best n The God will do the rest" 🙏🎉🔥
In a lighter vein, I would say that we have an extension to the proverb, “where there’s a will, there’s a way”, that says, “where there’s no will, there’s a hill”, suggesting one to go and jump off it. Probably, you may be knowing this, Ms. Rebecca, though you may not want to admit it. It was a nice video from you as usual. Many thanks.
In Russian we have an equivalent of "Better late, than never." It's Лучше поздно, чем никогда. I also know this expression comes from the Latin "Potius sero quam nunquam".
Most of expressions you taught there are in Greek language with small or big variations, but keepping the same meanings. For example, the "chin up" becomes "don't put the head down". Expecting to have written correctly, i am sending lots of thanks from Greece!
I would say gigantic thanks for making such a informative video ❤️❤️🔥 Can we use "Count your blessings" as an example of an optimistic Expression? We all love you from bottom of our heart 💕❤️
You are such a good inspiring teacher Rebecca. Keep it up. I've been watching your videos for a long time and for sure I'm grateful. in addition, I'm a young UA-camr, majoring in Teaching maths and Physics. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hello Rebecca, I really enjoyed your tips. Here in Brazil only the expression THERE'S WILL, THERE'S THE WAY. It has a slightly different meaning. We say like this: WHO REALLY WANTS, I GOT IT. The others are exactly the same, of course it varies a little for each region because the country is very large but the meaning is the same. Thank you very much, have a great weekend!!!
