Snoop Dogg is actually the one who never makes ANYONE'S Top 10.
Now that i think about it, i have never herd or seen anyone put Snoop in their Top 10
Kendrick put him on top 5 but I think he placed him out of respect.... But yeah.. he put eminem on fourth place and snoop on fifth
@@ponvishwesh5907 k dot said that snoop was an inspiration, not a top 5
@@ponvishwesh5907 he said Em as second and snoop as fifth
Snoop has one of the smoothest flows ever in rap tho
@aryan raina gotta check that one out
It's funny cause snoop said he would never put eminem on a track cause he out raps everyone he is on a track with. But if he not top 10 why snoop so scared
Snoop ain't top 10..He want to claim it's all Dr Dre.. Because that was when he did his best work.. And back in the death row days..Them beats is what made the song's... Eminem will make a trash beat sound good with cadence..
Its also funny cause he said eminem was hip hop royalty

Great point
Snoop never said anything about being afraid of Em, he said Em ain't in HIS top 10, nothing to do with being afraid of him or not.... That's facts!
Imagine if someone said Arnold is not in his top 10 bodybuilders or Mike tyson is not in his top 10 boxers..... Yeah it's pure hate and jealousy towards eminem

Honestly, snoop SUCKS. I respect him. But not his music, he isn't a lyricist and he doesn't have a nice feel to his music. Em on the other hand. He has a good feel to his music, way different from what snoop can do.
Facts. I love Snoop but he's not my top 10
No disrespect, but snoop isn't even in my top 20. Speaking of getting together with Dre, and Dre bringing out the best rapper you can be, that's exactly what Dre did with Snoop. Eminem is in his own category, he is arguably the best lyricist in the history of music, not just rap. It's laughable to compare him to other rappers... In order to treat Eminem fairly, you would have to compare him to lyrical greats like Bob Dylan. Snoop Dogg doesn't even have a good grasp on English, he shouldn't be judging this... Nothing will keep me listening to somebody more than a person like you correcting himself in front of the whole world.
And that is Eminem in a nutshell. Brutal, uncensored honesty about himself and his experience.
And that's you too!
Thank you for being real!
Just the way he says 'should I go on?' smh
Even Rakim says ems a legend... Snoops just had his blunt laced, go write another JustEat verse fam...
Fax
Lol he says "should I go on" clearly not wanting or expecting them to say yes. Then he's like "errm Ice Cube". Like come on, he can't even name 10 that Em "can't fuck with"
yeah its like 'i can go on forever, he's nothing special' smh snoop
I’m really disappointed in Snoop, as a hip hop fan and a big fan of him and Em it was disappointing because he’s a legend who is usually showing love to other legends and fellow artist of the genre. So for him to say this and in the manner he said it... yeah this felt more like a shot rather than an opinion, it came off disrespectful as well as very bitter. Snoop knows better than to talk out of pocket like that.
He didn’t say he’s not a legend tho
Could you imagine a White Guy saying in an interview Tiger Woods not in my top 10 the great black hope doesn't belong in golf! Just sounds cringy saying that
Lmao!
not just cringy but racist af
nicebluejay exactly snoop was just being racist(kinda) idk
I remember an interview back in the day where snoop saying that em was adopted as a black guy and we wanted to trade some corny black guys to get him. As for this top ten of hip hop it needs to be more specific as there is so many different ways to look at it. Best lyricist, best flow, best sounding, most sales, best beats just to make a few. And with each section you might have different names on it. And like I said that list sounds like those were his idols so I don’t have an issue with that list he had. But the tone of bringing race into the equation isn’t cool. Em shouldn’t lose credit for being the color he is. If you can spit you can spit. There has to be beef we don’t see behind the scenes though.
What did snoop do besides smoke? Seriously
Keep it real! Being open minded while your heart is in the right place. Respect
Love your honest reaction
em to snoop- “i got you in my top 5....... worst rappers of all time”
Snoop got alzheim
I was just going to comment this line off of the adventures of moonman and slim! 😂
It's sorta like Medusa, that's how you stay ahead 🙆♀️ of 🐍 🐍 🐍!
But you haters are butthurt (ow), bunch of sore hind-ends (ow)
🤣🤣 he mentioned snoop in that song too. i think em saw the future and planned the diss ahead
All the greats he mentioned such as Rakim & LL Cool J, they said Em is a monster in their eyes, even in their top 10 to be exact. Bottom line Snoop's a hater.
To be fair Snoop Didn’t have Nas Pac Biggie Hov he might be Biased because the generation he lived in even tho the statements he made was hating asl
The first rapper he named rakim said em is his favorite rapper lol and even today the best young rappers of today like kendrick cole got em in their top 5 so theres nowhere to run snoop bitter af
@@Fabian6980 Rakim never said Em was his favorite rapper. He did say Em was top 10 but never said his favorite smh.
@@TheEdub1 he said hes one of the goats and one of his favorites he mentioned 5 rappers eminem was one of them so hes top 5 for rakim not top 10 most rappers dont got him top 10 they got him top 5 rightfully so the man still pushing the pen 25 plus years later nas not doing that j not doing that big mouth snoop not doing nothing but running his mouth. none of the living greats are doing what em does man gonna drop a rap album when hes 50 and its gonna be fire and hit #1 lol
@@TheEdub1 they wanna claim hip hop is black music and the originators are black then why they let the whiteboy show he got more passion and love for hip hop than any of them? Actions speak louder than words hip hop is heard world wide today because of eminem fact we gotta respect that man
I love this reaction! and i agree with many of the comments you got! damn!
Well You Got A New SUB Here!!! So Is This The Channel You Stream On??? I Definitely Will Be Checking Out Your Streams 👍
Really messed up considering when Em JUST shouted out Snoop on the Kid Cudi track. Quite messed up
isn't it sad really, HIS LATEST SONG! why snoop?
And he gave him a praise shoutout in unaccommadating. "And the doctor's operating, but he never put no scrubs on from Snoop, K Dot to Shady"
He is allowed to like who he wants
Its not bout bro but the he way he said was really disrespectful
@@kdoc6724 Yeah you are allowed to have an opinion. But don't bring race into it.
That's like saying tiger woods isn't a top 10 golfer ....???
Golf is based on matter of fact and tangible results not taste, bias or opinion. A hole in one is not the equivalent to a hit or miss record.
@@butterbwoi1344 yes but there will always be talk whether woods was the greatest golfer or not.. I'm talking legacy he left. He's the top golf ever in my opinion eventhough he hasn't broken all the records... Snoop lost his damn mind.
Great breakdown. FACTS!!!
That's fine Snoop. You're not even on my top 50.
Fr this should be facts for most everybody
Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣
If I had to list my top 50 rappers Snoop dog wouldn’t even come to mind lol like I would forget he even rapped. Not being racist or bias I just don’t think Snoop is a good Lyricist. Like at all honestly
Lol fr tho
Snoop has ALWAYS felt like Eminem took his spot with Dre. (He's like a little brother who gets jealous when his older brother leaves him at home to hang out with his friends)
Real talk - the same shit happened when Pac went to Death Row. Snoop became jealous as fuck, and it's WELL documented.
Scoop's been on some bitch ass shit the last several years with his comments. Regarding Em, regarding Pac, regarding Suge... He's tried to rewrite the past that's already done & in the books.
Keep it a buck? I haven't listened to Snoop in over a decade. 💯
I at least checked out Em's last 2 Albums. I don't listen to them very often, but I at least checked them out and have them a listen through. But Snoop? No sir. Nathan...
But Pac? I STILL listen to Pac DAILY!
So... Look. Here's how I see it.....
Em is a dope lyricist. For sure. Put aside the whole white rapper thing for a moment, and go bar for bar, and he's certainly in the top 10 "wordsmith's" of rap, lyrically, of all time. Okay...
*HOWEVER!*. When you get into content & other factors; meaning the content of what he's saying, and impact on music and many other factors, then that's an entirely different conversation.
See, to me, you HAVE to look at the entire package:
- Content
- Lyricism
- Affect on Music (has he influenced rap, other artists, etc.)
- Affect on the _culture_
- Album sales
- Is he respected in the game, i.e. being respected in rap as an artist, as a producer, and by the people/the fans, the reviewers, the media, and of course other rap artists.
- Dedication to the craft
- Their affect on social & political issues (if applicable)
- The amount of albums released and has EVERY one been dope
- Exclude groups (Wu Tang, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, etc)
- Long-Term relevancy
Now, all that being said, I've said this for almost 3 decades: *2Pac is the undisputed GOAT* going by ticking all the boxes of criteria I outlined above. You can always say 'Pac wasn't super lyrical with puns and rhyme techniques & blah blah blah' compared to Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, Black Thought, Mos Def, and the list goes on. Sure. But as far as checking the most boxes, the biggest affect on music, on culture, on social issues, on political issues, album sales, being SO FAR AHEAD of his time, and the CONTENT of what Pac was rhyming about? The GOAT is Pac hands down. Period. Point blank. Full stop.
Em is dope; Em is nice... He has bars. Yep. Jay Z has bars, "much swagger", great technique... Nas is a great story teller. And so on and son on. But again. *Overall* _NO ONE_ can touch Pac at all, ever.
Now, in addition to everything I just laid out, add to that, 2Pac died with over 150+ unreleased FINISHED or mostly finished tracks. He was only 25 years old when he was assassinated. His Estate STILL has tracks that need to be put out NOW that haven't been leaked and no one (in the public) has heard. AND 24 years after his death, Pac is STILL RELEVANT! 100% still relevant in music & in the culture. No one else has that or has done that.
So my bottom line is, everyone's top 10 is going to be subjective; it's a personal opinion based on how you feel each artist has ticked those boxes, and the affect those rappers and their music has had on your life, and the music industry, and the hip hop culture. But I'm also sure if you asked 100 random hip hop heads, and/or 100 hip hop artists themselves who is in THEIR all-time top 10 list, you're going to see a pattern emerge of several names that continue to be seen on those lists.
If I had to guess and just throw names out (in no particular order aside from Pac), it'd be Pac, Rakim, Kane, Jay, Biggie, Nas, KRS, Black Thought, LL & Cube. Again, going by ticking ALL of the boxes of criteria I laid out above. NOT pure lyricism, NOT just the most album sales, NOT just the amount/volume of albums put out, and NOT just got many years they been active. I just think the names I just mentioned would be the ones you see most on peoples' lists... Mine would be sightly different, based on my personal opinion and for their music has affected my life over the past 27 years I've been listening to hip hop.
So really, I'm not banging Snoop or Em on a regular basis at all. And I haven't in decades.
One last thing: Snoop's best album was his very first project. .... 🤨 And uh, who produced Snoop's first album? 🤔 DRE DID! At least Em has kept the heat comin' and stayed relevant. Snoop; not AS much. He's stayed around, but not as much.
Regardless, Pac is the one & only GOAT and blows both of them away.
Plot twist: All these people leaving Em out of their top ten are actually Stans and realize that giving him hate only makes his next album better by 10% per list.
Keeping it real new sub
Em has the best lyrical ability and flow of all time no debate
Not
Julien Alexander u just completely dismissed what I said
Em is one of my favourite rappers but he isn't the most lyrical, although he would still be in my top 10 at least for lyrics. That goes to Lupe fiasco, just go listen to Failure and check the annotations on Genius n you'll see
Julien Alexander thats what happens when you put your opinion under someone else’s lmao💁♂️
@Big Chase Alpha k rino is the best story teller but he ain't on Lupe's level in terms of lyrics
People might like Eminem's music. People might not like some of his content. But Eminem can rap his ass off and will slaughter with his lyrical ability. Hood guys don't like Eminem because they low key hate on him. Eminem doesn't have the "gangbang, dope dealing, boning girls, blow someone's head off" type lyrics. So they still rap about "reality" rap according to them. Eminem raps different. His experiences are different. Lyrical ability, Eminem is a monster. These rappers need to stop bring up white boy this or white boy that. That doesn't apply to real lyricists.
So true well put ! .. 💯👏
I mean I feel like you're over generalizing and putting any type of rapper from that environment into a box. And then labeling it as bad. Hip-hop came from those environments, it was born out of that life. And Em defintely talks about all those sorts of things. Plenty of songs talk about him boning girls or anything else you mention.
Even Eminem doesn't consider himself better than guys like Jay, but then super hardcore fanboys try and defend him. He's amazing with wordplay, probabaly the best there is, and he has the ability to be a really good lyrcicst as well.
what is now mainstream "hip hop" there is no originality when they talk about that stuff repeating themselves in every song rhyming with random words or just a noise at the end of every "bar" and people say it is hard solely based on the beat...hip hop now is garbage and the intelligence of listeners are low, dumbasses were trying to mock the hook and say NAS wasn't saying shit and if you rap like that you gotta tell a story lol I Gave You Power is one of the best story telling songs ever like shit is sad i swear.
All Eminem really does is tell stories too even if they are made up that is like telling J.K.Rowling and the Harry Potter series which made dumb amounts of money that its corny so they say lol
@@Unst0pableGamer I didn't say that Eminem didn't have the typical content, I'm saying he didn't rely on it. Most of the music coming from the "hood" is redundant. Same content. How they say it or style they use is different at times which makes it appealing, but the content is the same. So I'm not generalizing all of it, because all of it speaks for itself without my generalization.
@@Unst0pableGamer I like old rap/hiphop. How Snoop said what he said and questioning Eminem's greatness, top 5 dead or alive or not, is the issue. He more or less played down Eminem's talent in many ways. So that's the issue. If it was based off Dre alone, Eminem couldn't be as successful as he is because Dre has always had a stable of very good talent that didn't pan out. What the world saw was a kid that didn't look like the rest of hip hop but could legitimately rap his ass off. Content was largely different, but skillset off the charts. Being white did help but that wasn't the defining factor to get him that success, otherwise Em would've been vanilla ice or macklemore. Hahaha
Well said my guy its 2020 what does race have to do with anything 👏 in order for the world to come together and love each other we have to learn to forgive and forget lets look at a person for who they are not for what they look like every one reading this stay blessed
Bro you are spot on with this. Snoop accidentally dropped a bitter racist comment totally unrelated to the topic. He sounds old and bitter period.
or he could just be sick and tired about always having to hear Eminem's name when he wants to talk about rap in a interview....That shit gets annoying as fuck if you like other rappers better
Some of Em's songs have more substance than Snoop's entire discography.
Facts
All he ever rap about is weed..
PS: For everyone trying to defend Snoop by saying he wasnt being racist. If Em had said the EXACT SAME THING in regards to Snoop's career, how fast would the industry as a whole be burning Em's career down to ashes over acxusations of racism?*
wouldn't they be wrong then too? Then wouldn't people also defend Eminem by saying he wasn't being racist?
Facts.

Snoop is still living off his songs from the 90s. He's been a celebrity for 25 years. Now he's just famous for being Snoop. Nobody under 40 has ever bought a Snoop record. And I'm not saying he's a racist (we all got some prejudice, that's human) but this isn't the first time saying some racial shit.
I'm under 40 and I've bought a snoop record tf
@D-Ice's baby brother ...what bangers??
He even said on Wild N Out “white boys can’t rap” .. He’s been leaving bread crumbs up to this statement for a while now... lol
@@redmanjohnson4616 Drop it like it's hot. Rhythm & Gangsta was a good album as a whole.
Axel Stabursvik exactly.. The fact that he made the statement even as a joke shows you his resentment.. It’s just jealousy cuz he’s white and I think that’s the only issue he has. it’s the hate like this is what pushed Em so hard to excel. So in that reality, it’s partially Snoops fault that em is so lyrical..
Keeping it real as always nuke.

8:40 YOU NAILED IT. That’s exactly what I’ve been saying for months, but could never put the words together like that.
Em does not sound black or white he is just Em.
"I don't do black music, I don't do white music
I make fight music for high school kids"
@Nitro Gang I am white and bump black and white rap and music cause skin color should never be in the conversation when talking about skill or in general value someone in music
@Nitro Gang I don't speak for the hood I am just a half German living his usual life in Germany we don't have real hoods here Black people in the US is more like turkish people here we don't have many black people here but even when I talked to some they said Em is a top tier lyricist and they bump his stuff sometimes but they are all much rather on that new school sound sadly in general US Rap listeners in Germany only listen to mumble rap
@Nitro Gang Never said that but I am white and I listen like mostly to black cause besides Em there is not so many good white artists in the Game I think btw Logic's last album he is releasing now doesn't soud that bad though
@Nitro Gang I don't always have to relate to music to like it but I like good vibe Songs like Today was a good day from Ice Cube, You know How we do It, Nas I Can etc.
And also more dark songs like Gangsta Rap Made Me Do it.
Also a Fan of Cypress Hill, Immortal Technique, Big Pun
Soon as a verse starts I eat it at MC's heart
What is he thinking? How not to go against me? Smart.
And it's absurd how people hang on every word.
I'll probably never get the props I feel I ever deserve
But I'll never be served my spot is forever reserved
If I ever leave earth that would be the death of me first.
'Cause in my heart of hearts I know nothing could ever be worse.
That's why I'm clever when I put together every verse
My thoughts are sporadic, I act like I'm an addict
I rap like I'm addicted to smack like I'm Kim Mathers.
But I don't want to go forth and back in constant battles
The fact is I would rather sit back and bomb some rappers.
So this is like a full-blown attack I'm launching at them
The track is on some battling raps who want some static
'Cause I don't really think that the fact that I'm Slim matters
A plaque of platinum status is whack if I'm not the baddest. So...
Can't shut his mouth...
Exactly
Em is in most top 10
Lyrical monster 👌
There are very few rappers that can fck with Em
Omg bro Epic comment xD
Totally agree and respect what you are saying. Preach!
Bro! I agree. Rakim said it alone,
"If Em was black he would be the next muhammad ali" snoop just sound jealous on this one.
