Even after 11 years this gig by MEURSAULT at Glastonbury is still absolutely brilliant! It will really last forever! MEURSAULT (Edinburgh, SCO) are now unbelievable 15 years old. It seems too pathetic to say such things, but even now Neil Pennycook´s band is still (in my opinion) one of the best bands at least in Scotland, especially live. So much emotion, so much passion, so much incredible atmosphere. Even today after hearing this version of „Crank Resolution“, the tears are rolling (once again)....Outstanding, brilliant band.
This was the first song I heard from Meursault and I was instantly awestruck by how atmospheric they sounded, like I was suddenly taken to the middle of a cold snowstorm!
Yeah I get you, like these guys are massively better than so many bands that get more recognition/airplay/money etc... I could see them going places in the next few years though if they keep up like they have been. My comment was just a knee-jerk reaction to the 'they're the best band in the uk' comment haha

His voice is so much better live. There's a whole new dimension to this track.
My God, this has so much passion. Just wonderfully beautiful.
The greatest ukulele solo known to man.

Does someone know what music is he playing in the beggining?
he's released it as 'gentleman's guide' under the 'supermoon' moniker a couple of years back.
