People got to understand how huge the Hulk 340 comic book cover reference is. That image and many others by Todd McFarlane is what saved Marvel in the 80s, it paved the way for how detailed comics could be. That was a really cool way of showing him some appreciation.
Finally got to watch it just an hour ago. This is definitely one of those movies u can re-watch over and over and still catch new things missed the first few times.
I feel like this movie was for the people who grew up when the original x-men, and fantastic 4 came out. And it was just an homage to our childhood. This is how you pull off nostalgia!!

Ex: online reactions have people going crazy when Iron Man drew first blood from Thanos. My theatre was silent and we were shaking our heads because as Thanos said, "all that for a drop of blood". Have you gone to midnight premieres? That's usually the loud and excited crowd

One thing I liked from the ending is that they didn't killed Laura (X-23), she's a character with potential, she even wore the mantle of Wolverine, I hope she returns in the future

I went to cinema twice so far, once for Japanese premiere on July 24th in Shinjuku, the other in Poland on August 1st and obviously premiere had the best reactions because it was everyone's first reactions, but on Aug 1st (W Hour in Poland, important holiday), there was lots of army in the city and somehow also there were scouts, I had a full row of scouts in front of me and there comes the line "I'm gonna show you sth huge / Thats what scoutmaster Kevin used to say" and they were nuts. It's so amazing how just going to cinema with different people gives you totally different experience. Last time I have seen any reaction from ppl at cinema was actually Deadpool 2 😁
gotta admit, that final tribute to fox's marvel really got me good.... i was SOBBING, they really kickstarted this whole universe, they might've not been perfect, but they were FUN, and just like Elektra and Blade said, it was closure, proper and respectful closure. loved it ❤️❤️
