- Outdoor lighting is a big deal when it comes to enjoying your RV. In this video I cover one of my very favorite products: the Barebones Beacon Light (amzn.to/2XtgkyS). This little light (of mine) is just right for hanging under your awning, and it makes a useful light for tabletop and tight spaces too.
You can find it on Amazon here: amzn.to/2XtgkyS
You will also see the LUCI Solar String Lights in this video... which are also great. If you want to check them out, see them on Amazon here: amzn.to/2V37E0x
You sir are dangerous. Half the stuff you mention I bought and have been very satisfied! Gonna buy me one of these to try out and if it's a weiner I'll buy a second one!
Also to note that I just got done ripping out the DVD player along with that cabinetry and omg that's a lot of wasted space! I also ripped out the single DIN player as I'm not a fan of it. I'm debating on either installing my own raspberry pi 4 or Nvidia Shield TV as my media center. Curious to know if you plan to change your media devices?
LOL... Well... I'm glad I can "help"! I have worked as a designer for much of my life, so finding the optimum/best use of space/resources is a rewarding challenge with the Airstream. This light is really great and very useful for all sorts of things. Make sure you check out that old video on how to hang it under your awning, because it really does provide a great option!
Also glad to hear you got rid of that DVD player. Frees up a lot of room when you do. We rarely use the TVs in our trailer since mostly folks are using phones or laptops to watch their own individual shows or videos. I do have a dongle that adapts iPhone to HDMI, so on the off chance we want to show something on the big screen, we just plug in. Nothing beats a wire for simplicity!
Nice review..you didn't bore us, you got straight to the chorus! Thanks
Thanks!
Sweet informative review. Without hesitation I ordered 3 straight after watching your video 🤸🏽♀️
I've just ordered two. Great review 👏 you can get them in teal and a kind of subtle ocre they call " dusty yellow" but that's over in Sweden from a company called Hep Cat. They ship world wide.
I think you'll enjoy them. I keep finding good uses for them...
There $15.00 bucks wholesale, I've bought several of them. Great little lanterns too
Marlboro is offering this light in their points rewards program.
I'm digging it.
The reason I came here, I'm torn between the hammock or saving more for this.
@@tylerdurden1971 I am saving for the latern me thinks. Unless they release something new and better before then. I have 21,000 points lol
@@seewhaticando3885 26,500 pts here. Saving for the JBL Flip 5.
@@bryantanderson430 😄 Well someday.
@@seewhaticando3885 So far I've gotten 2 Carhart Beanie's and a Matte Black zippo lighter. The light is cool, but the Flip 5 will sell for $90.😃
Its a very nice lantern
Marlboro still has them as redemptions but if you do the math it’s basically paying $1000 for it
😂 that’s very true! I just ordered mine from Marlboro. Tbh at least you get something back for smoking. Gonna smoke anyways might as well get something for it.
Truly a superior camp light (from a flashlight fetish guy)
If you are a light enthusiast, you should check out the Festool Syslight: amzn.to/3b7PBfe. This thing is very pricey, but incredibly useful and very durable. Well designed too--with each side of the light being a different angle, you can set it down to shine just where you want it. Has a tripod mount too.
@@JustaJourneyman $250 for a glorified flashlight? I think not.
@@bryantanderson430 Yeah... it's one of those things that seems truly ridiculous until you find yourself using it a zillion different ways. That said, when I bought mine it was pretty much the only game in town, but today lots of companies make small LED work lights.
Hi nice review, and thank you! I am thinking about picking up one or two of these with the idea of easy I door lighting for a van living or a short skoolie. Do you think these would do well in that type of situation? Thanks!
I think they'd work great.
when you make full brightness what is the temperature of the light? I see that at not full brightness, the light emits no more than 3000K
3000k is a color temperature, not a light output. For brightness look at the "lumens" number.
@@JustaJourneyman thanks for the answer
But will it last over time?
It's well built. Takes a beating!
I'm curious to know if the battery is replaceable & if anyone's had to do so? They do go bad ya know. Fyi it's 18,300 points on my catalog.
Now $65
sadly yes. Really pricey... I saw a guy review it and compared with a lumina light. Sadly I dont get Korean and the Lumina light seemed way better but I cannot find it in my area nor online (Europe)
