Bullshit - Hertz keeps offering the widest range of EV’s out there and are heavily promoting them at airports and on their website. I personally rent electric whenever I can as the financial bottom line is always in favour of EVs
They sell high mileage vehicles, whether they are electric or internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. There are no news articles about the ICE vehicles they sell.

Nine years of driving three Teslas and so far maintenance apart from windshield washer fluid and tire replacement has been zero dollars. Does the navigation system direct me to the most convenient charging station whenever I’m driving over five hours on the highway, which is usually about twice a year.
Limited range and charging issues is why people arent renting them.
The range is very misleading, it gets reduced if the weather is windy, or it’s very hot and you need air conditioner, or if you go over a certain miles per hour! Ridiculous!
