Really nice robot! One thing I would really suggest is making the disk/puck intake faster using a speed gear ratio. You also might want to look into making the drive faster too. Finally, it would be interesting to see if you could get three disks/pucks to fire at a time instead of just two. Stuart - BLRS
Thanks for the suggestions Stuart! We have since moved on from this design and use a "seesaw flywheel" some of which you can see in some our our other videos. Its much faster and can shoot more at once.
How did you guys manage to solve the problem which the discs sometimes go down the shooter storage vertically that makes the shooting get stuck? The discs are all perfectly aligned in the storage of your robot!
We didn't fully solve that problem, we just reduced the odd of the disks falling vertically to a very small chance. Sometimes when we did a match they would fall vertically and we would have to reset, so we are working on solving that.
We built this at a camp with big bins of parts, so I can't give a definitive answer. I can say that there are some gen 2 parts (mainly the shooter mechanism), so you would at least need a gen 2 kit.

That's an awesome robot!! I have to build that one
Have fun!

@@DrumrollPlease thank you!! Nice job!!
@@brooke9177 No problem!
Your robot is so cool what is it’s name
We didn't give it a name sadly
Ok thanks for the reply! 🙂
interesting design
Thanks!
Lets score dis guys, lets score this
And score we did
love the bot! is it a double punching shooter?
Yep, it is rather interesting. It is two separate modules with a motor for each, so if one stops working we have the other.
you should make it go straight into the bot like actully
We did, this is just a robot we built at camp. Check out some of our newer videos to see.
