this is the reaction that i've been looking for, understanding the story and appreciating the effort by the dev. thx, subbed! edit: yea, not just the EPs, but the game itself gives me nostalgic vibe for a reason that i couldn't explain. ZZZ is PEAK
yeah, after seeing EmiMatcha's reaction to the EP I was more than disappointed to see that all she did was simp for lighter but entirely disregard the story and even the lyrics, it was your basic gen alpha rizz behavior thing with "why am i blushing" "look at his abs" and all the other stuff, completely disregarding the EP itself.... Stella's reaction was top notch though, night and day difference with EmiMatcha and i am surprised in a very good way
So what happened is that he was with a mercenary group that he grew to love as family and they got in over their head, and everyone but Lighter died. Lighter then took money from a loan shark to guarantee that the little girl would have a good life. He was then essentially taken as a slave, fighting to earn back the money he took. Big Daddy then found him, saw how hard he was fighting, paid off his debts, and took him in. Lighter assumed that he was going to just be thrown into another ring to fight for someone else, but instead he was given a life. Big Daddy essentially said "If you're going to fight for your life, fight for other's instead." This is why in the story, Lighter is so big on the concept of a "found family", and why he fights so hard for his friends. He doesn't want to lose anymore family, and he wants to give back to the family that took him in when he had nobody but himself.
Yea true, ppl right now taking the "GOONER GAME" a buzzword on internet, especially on twitter when it comes to zzz, even though zzz is more tamed unlike other gachas like nikke and azur lane which is more GOONER 💀
There was no reason to bring such a hype EP for him xD Really like how they manage to tell his past and motivation in just like 3 min The agent story is also super good
I like your take on this trailer i very much enjoyed waiting till right before his drop to learn more about him - they are doing a very good job on story and how each drop adds a little bit more intrigue to each of characters , there is not a single character i don’t like or want to know more about their story - so far its been one of the best story telling games I’ve played in a long time I’am vested at this point -
Really hope you react to the other ZZZ trailer, especially ZZZ where the miracle begun because there definitely some hi3rd stuff love to hear your thoughts on.
@@thevaltwo i can definitely see that but he seems more in line with gearless joe from megalobox to me since he looks like a counter puncher like joe except lighter has a very strong southpaw too especially his footwork and stance switching and how he builds up his confidence and momentum to land that big fat punch like he did at the end against the big guy but i am not too well versed in the technicalities of boxing so thats that
@@barrickpateman8084 In regards to the actual techniques, Megalobox connects pretty strongly because Joe happens to be heavily reliant on counterattacks (ideal for being gearless). Likewise, in this particular match, Lighter's facing off against what looks like a significantly higher weight class (a severe disadvantage, I might add) so a counter becomes the ideal approach. In regards to boxing anime in general, it should be noted that Megalobox is regarded as a spiritual successor/spinoff to Hajime no Ippo, and it borrows several iconic scenes as a sort of homage. If it's just about boxing, it honestly could be either. The issue is that the animation used here doesn't correlate to that used in either anime series. The visuals might be close to Baki the Grappler (as a manga), but otherwise it's hard to pin down the specific art style.

Hoyo games have a reputation for a reason. Still prefer Nikke its overall more of a game than ZZZ grind fest.

Isn't that lemon candy from star rail? I think so. Probably Hajime no Ippo that boxing anime u saw?
WAIT YOU MIGHT BE ON TO SMTH!! I never thought it's an Easter egg!!
I was probably thinking megalobox
Great reaction. Subbed.
ZZZ kills it with these. My favorite part of this one was when he was about to give up, then decided not to
This one video has more character building and show-don't-tell story telling than most of what Hollywood has produced in the past five years.
Really hope you react to the other ZZZ trailer, especially ZZZ where the miracle begun because there definitely some hi3rd stuff love to hear your thoughts on.
yeah this ep makes me want to rewatch megalobox
Лайтер просто порвал женскую аудиторию.. 🎉🎉🎉
I believethe boxing anime was megaloblox
It could also be Hajime No Ippo
