Having a similar issue to you with a slightly shaking idle on my 2012 Cayenne 3.6 VR6 but no engine light or misfire I can see. Mine wasn't as pronounced as yours but you can feel a random shaking or flutter through the car when stopped at a light. Replaced all the spark plugs with brand new genuine Porsche ones. I don't have a leaking PCV or any timing chain rattle. Going to tackle the air issues first and see if that resolves anything.

I've watched a few videos and mine isn't the first instance of someone silicon taping the air intake hose in that specific spot. Good luck - might be a common failure / cracking point. Do share if it resolves the issue

Hi, I have similar issue... but for 958, symptoms are strange.... when idle, for some period no vibration then 1sec I feel vibration, then again same period normal, and everything repeating... There is no vibration when moving, only in idle... I don't see any damage on intake tube, but long time ago I replaced mas air sensor to another used one, because 1 of 2 sensor fastening was broken (I don't know how to pull out sensor from tube, looks like it is not possible for 958). Do you think there might be issue with MAF sensor? did you have same issue with your cayenne? BTW, when I used diagnostic tool and adapted idle mixture, symptoms became less noticeable, but still present...

That's interesting about the idle mixture. It could definitely be the MAFs or a dirty throttle body and couldn't hurt to clean it thoroughly - might improve MPG too. Hard to say without seeing it and playing around with diagnostics.

How did you get the check engine light to go off?

I have a scan tool. I cleared the code using the tool and the code didn’t come back.
