The biggest problem with raglin is her a2 heal scales off attack. They need to switch this to hp. And reduce it down to a 3 turn ability, and maybe add a passive. I think then she would be pretty solid.

For Martyr I saw Hell Hades put on the buffed Faultless Defence blessing and she reflected attacks into the Fire Knight shield alongside her counter attacks. Seems powerful.
With Ash calling Martyr an Elephant just made me realize there isnt an elephant in the skinwakers, right? We're missing this Plarium!

Matyr is still used in CB, sin city and FK 10 fast teams with new blessing
The first leggo I ever pulled was Dracomorph 3 years ago...I loved him then, and I love him now, even with the initial nerf. He's still on most of my teams, as I don't have Lydia (low spend account).
You‘ll get Lydia eventually but I still use Draco ‚cause he just nukes :-)
How to fix these champions:
Just demote them to epic, that'll be the easiest fix for Plarium to do and the only one they'll be more willing to apply.
Same with power creep epics, turn them into rares, clean up space for newer more interesting epics and legos.
Put some of them as rewards for new players to have, instead of YAGA... for example.
Proud owner of a raglin, pulled her years ago as my only void leggo, never used her outside of fw at level 50. Also got altan, never used him. Got 2 war mothers, never used them. The latter definetely needs an extra turn mechanic. Gaius, shazar and the rat are just way better. Sadly dont have any of these
Raglin is underrated. She is one of my revivers on my number 1 hydra team. Though I agree with ash, she was one of the best voids in the game and now she’s 2nd tier
@@lordchaa1598 Maybe I'll try her out one day. Thanks for the impressions. I am still unsure which champ I should build next, wythir, demytha or godseeker. I already got duchess and ukko as my revivers but i am still struggling with iron twins and sand devil. Demytha wont be useful on the twins since she has to be paired with another block dmg champ plus I can use her on the demon lord as a lvl 50 and godseeker might be too niche just for sand devil but she might be my only option there. Do you have any tipps? Would be highly appreciated
@@ich4226 , godseeker is a must in my quick kill twins team. So I’d go with her. Then you can just surround her with nukers and Helicath. My team is Godseeker, Helicath, Valkyrie, Tomb Lord and either lady Kimi or a high ACC Ninja. It usually takes 1:30-2:30 on all affinities on max level. Godseeker is just a game changer on most accounts. If you make her tanky enough, then your team will never die.
@@lordchaa1598then thank you a lot. I am so angry at myself for not going for helicath and my regen gear isnt the best but I will for sure go with godseeker then :). I only did the gnut, ukko, versulf fusion so far and of the latter two I already pulled dupes. A Brogni or hurndig would have been cool too.
@@ich4226 , Gnut, should fit well in that team, as well as Ukko. I don’t have either of them, because that fell under my boycott raid months, lol. But, Gnut should be awesome in the twins. And Godseeker when fully booked, should be able to keep your nuker alive the entire fight. I really regret not going for him and the most regrettable decision I made was not going for Brogni. I could have max turn limit CB team if I had that wonder of a champ. Best of luck to you in creating your new teams. Hell Hades site is very helpful, but I like to make them on my own first and then go to his site if I’m encountering any problems.

My brother still runs a endgame gear Raglin. The 2 turn revive with a recently pulled Marichka on the team means it is very hard to drop his team

100% on Draco. I FINALLY pulled him and was so disappointed to see him in the portal 😳😂 I already had Jintoro for my Bateater, had just gotten Lydia literally 2 weeks prior, and was running a Teodor and Kalvalax in dungeons.
He’s still sitting at lvl 1, 5 star untouched in the vault 🤷🏻♂️

I got Vizier a long time ago and had him on my CB team until i switched to my current UNK team. A couple months ago i got Astralith, which allowed me to bring back Vizier for a Arena bomb team. Works well.
Can agree on Martyr, she was my second Lego pulled and she was a boss everywhere. Now the only role I continue to use her in fulltime is Clan Boss as the aura lead. Cursed city she is the last person I go for if there is no one else. She is brilliant in Guardian Gear so it would be good to see a damage mitigation passive for the team be added to her kit maybe????

11:38 I use viziers debuff spread ability in spider to spread geomancers a3 burn then use artak to detonate one turn and use geomancer and gnut to finish the job so he has done niche uses

Septimus should be Armiger 2.0. TM decrease on A1 and 2 turn CD max HP hit. Add a passive that makes him ignore (at least partially) bosses' reductions on these two effects and you have a hell of a champion.

Hegemon surprisingly keeps on coming back. He's back on live with Pirate dude
I speed-farm low Gold 5, and Hegemon absolutely rules. Mine is a fast build in a stun set with OK accuracy. Sheeping is something that happens in the upper half of gold 5, not the bottom where I stay (one-person defense). My team is Hegie into Arbiter (360 speed) into Warlord (300 speed) with Lion as the nuker (although I also use Baron, depending).

I got raglin recently. She helped me already against amius and arena coz i basically have only three decent revivers arbiter, aniri and tagoar but damn her a2 is a lackluster. Her base stats also need some help.
I agree with you on these. I still use my Drako and know I need to replace him but have a hard time doing that. Martyr has slipped out of the light for me though :/

Ash, I'm 1 month from Arbiter and still haven't unlocked unkillable team. 🎉
I'm over a year in and just got an unkillable option, it's complete luck as to when you get the champs
So the three take away's are power creep is crazy in this game, polymorph and stone skin was a terrible idea for arena. Thanks for the warning before rambling on about the Archer, hope I didn't miss anything by jumping forward to a random point in the video. Otherwise it was fun going down memory lane.
Hey Ash, unsure if any UA-camrs made a video of this yet. But greenwardern got a nerf. His skills use to steal all buffs and now only steals content heals.
Alot of this champs i wish i had em earlier ...theyll make faction war easier....but im so glad tht im got my lydia
As a player who spent a few thousand on the game from 2018-2019 came back march 2023 and half my roster was power crept was extreme disappointing. Steel Skull, Tayrel, Occult brawler, even doom priest, bellower who were all MVPs when I left were kinda meh when I came back. Fortunately had an elenaril and tomb lord to hard carry me until I could get emic but leaving the game as an end player and coming back as an early mid game player felt bad.
I played way back, quitting shortly after platinum arena was introduced. Recently started back, and almost every character on this list are what I have and use. And it has for sure been a struggle, especially arena.

Raglin still has her place, but I agree she needs a buff, even if it’s just a passive ability like 30-50% chance to remove sheep on your team at the start of each turn. Then she’d be back on top. Hell, give anyone that passive and they will be the most sought out character in the game.
She is too basic for a void. Same as blind seer
Her cleanse is crap. It needs to be on a 3 turn and place at least blk debuffs and probably another buff. Healing based on her atk also doesn't make sense because optimally support champs aren't built for atk.

I do not regret getting these champions but really bothers me from a time resource and cost investment with nurfed quickly or power crept badly out of S to A or B tiers. Here are a few more legionaries and epics like Big 'In, Ignatius, Deacon, Geomancer, Madame Serris,, Mordecai, Rae, Tomb Lord, Urogrim, Versulf. All of these are still good champions pushed into niche roles or faction wars. ASH, Love your content always relevant and active.

What im learning from this is real powerhouses are really only in like half of the factions. Theres too much of an imbalance in power per faction. If you actually compare say, Demonspawn to Ogryn, you wonder why the ogres are even there. Buff ogres and sylvan watchers for sure. These days, high elves are falling behind imo. Which is crazy considering Arbiter alone. The past 2 years Skinwalkers has gone bonkers. Ukko then Ragash, then Wukong obviously. Thats a lot of champs that have been meta
Hegy is a hard counter to the Armanz meta we are entering.
As I'm relatively new to the game I have to ask, why wasn't Gnut an OG champion? He is in the game trailers and everything, I would have figured he was in the game from the start.

never noticed speed on Martyr when I built her, weirdly she is one of the fastest builds I have 3+ years in. Still use her in DT, but I take the point she ain't what she was.
Built a CB team around Steelskull. Now I consider him a vault guardian. Deadwood for speed tunes hoping to hit a Maneater team at some point. Lol the good old days. Grandpa Ash, lmao

dont mean to say gurgoh doesnt need a buff, he desperately does. but his freeze move,if just adding in the condition of removes all buffs makes him the best freeze cc champion the game,4 turn with extra turn its pretty nuts
Two weeks before spider 25 was released I pulled Septimus, completely maxed him and enjoyed one shotting spider 20 for a week and a half then I haven't used him since....

I sell all freeze gear , I have enough freeze champs, so I don't need it. I'd like to see a vid on Fren'zi. I think that she might be one of the most overlooked epics in the game. That puppy lady thing can deal some serious damage . I think she's my second hardest hitter just behind my Taras . I use her heavily in arena and spider .

They should add a set that negates stone skin, pierces it.

Pulled a random ancient today and saw god, I thought it was Kymar for a moment before I realized it was Tyrant Lixmor. He´s pretty good but doesn´t really add something to my account that I don´t really have sadly.
I was lucky back in the day, septimus and dracomorph were the first two leggos my account got, and septimus got me so far in progression, but now, hes just... a relic on my account. I don't get to enjoy using him anymore, and it hurts

Yeah I have a 6 star perfect souls for both steel skull and Tayrell, they have both has been completely power crept. I love both kits, but even maxed out, they just aren’t viable. Even in shogun’s grove, double hit A1 at 6 stars adds stacks.

Im currently using Vizier and Draco in the CB in a block damage team, He's in my Frost Spider team with Mithrala, Valk and Geomancer and Aniri. Dont play, both thise champs are not exactly power crept just not shiny anymore.
Ash when you log in today and look at your battle log....dont mind the dozen or so attempts made by me (MoranDohs)..I was trying to get some good rng 😂

Love the content Ash but I disagree with you a bit with something you said.. About you saying there is a sheep and SS meta, imo those are effects of the real meta of speed. Speed is a major problem in arena , players hate the fact that they don't get a turn or a chance to fight back.. sheep and SS unfortunately became a necessary evil, its a real issue when players can not get a turn, also pair that with the lock out champs and speed and you never get to use your champs or their skills.
I don't know what the fix could be, maybe something like what world of warcraft does with caps or something like diminishing returns in some form, like losing 1% of another stat for whatever percent over the cap you go, just spit balling here. Fact remains that there is no negative effect for stat bloat, so power creep goes unchecked because palarium has to keep adding new champs with new abilities or the game will become stale or worse die. Not sure what the fix is but there are champs out there 400 plus speed on the low end... how would you stop that, and give all players a chance to fight back in arena instead of just sitting there not getting a turn or being able to use your skills because of lock outs
sorry for long comment but was trying to get across the fact I think speed is the real problem and with no way to put a check on stat bloat I don't see power creep slowing down anytime soon

This. The difference in damage output is massive. Also, I use Martyr for drop defense and Helicath for weaken, so my Draco hard carries my CB team.
I got 2 vizier on my account. But is about 5 years I want martyr, cyclone and valkyrie.
İgnatius is one of the best burner back but now nobody use him. 5 turn cooldown HP burn. 4 turn not %100 provoke. Small chance stun on A1
Put yet a player in the clan I am with takes This and Baron,TD hard..and places first in global?
Dracomorph can hit HARD in Hydra

It's really a shame because Gurgoh is one of the coolest (lol) looking champs.
saw that homelander/raglin intro and had to laugh, she hasnt been stronger or better than anyone in a long time.. hell hakkorn smashlord has a better cleanse/heal on the same cooldown with a block debuffs and its such a strong heal its still semi relevant especially against the boss that tosses debuffs back at you. mind you this guy has been since the beginning of the game or close to it. shes a void lego and i have her but forget because shes an unused rotting booked 6star champ in my vault
Tayrel is the biggest canidate to me. And all they need to do is make his A2 a 3 turn cooldown and he will become great again

Altan should ignore stoneskin. Dude is/was the biggest champ, and a one shot hitter. Seems reasonable for him to ignore stoneskin.
