Very helpful...thanks
Really readlly helpful thank you so much for your sharing🙏🙏
Really helpful! Please could you make a video on joining dual carriageways around the West Didsbury area :)
Checkout this video WEST DIDSBURY TEST CENTRE. SPINNEY ESTATE ROUTE
23.03
Get your speed up to match the flow of traffic on the dual carriageway. Move to the edge of your lane without crossing over the line. Look for a safe gap then move into your lane. 👍
Thanks a lot

Thank you so much
This video is very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Big thanks
Well explained 🌸
And yes I found you few minutes ago wish I saw your video before my test 😥
What fault did you make?
@@NolanSOM on roundabout I was going to take wrong turn then my examiner hold the steering 😲
@@redrose2905 yes lots of candidates make the same mistake. Try and get some practice in before your next test👍
thankyou !!
Do you have a video on lane switching??
Watch my test route videos. There are examples of lane changing.
@@NolanSOM ok,thanks
Ive got my test on sunday 7.55am
Good luck with your test 👍
Hello Gary, At what point precisely would you indicate left when crossing to the left - for Sharston roundabout first approach right hand turn, for example, at 0:52 - thank you
At 0:55 start checking centre and left mirrors. Put your left indicator on at 0:57. Cancel the signal at 1.01 and then reapply at 1:07 as you come off the roundabout.
@@NolanSOM Wonderful! Thank you
So if you are going straight, like on the Cheadle roundabout, you don't need to signal when you exit? Thanks
On large roundabouts, it is good practice to signal when exiting. It is not misleading plus you have plenty of time to signal when leaving the roundabout.
On the first roundabout if your taking 3rd exit and there is traffic blocking the left lane at the last set of lights do you stay and exit in the right lane then move over to the left lane after you exit?
Yes, as long as you do not make another vehicle stop, slow down or swerve. You can also go around the roundabout again staying in the inside lane and setting up the exit as you come back round. Only use this option if it's necessary. Let the examiner know what you are doing.
Are you an instructor? If so do you use automatic? Would love for you to be my instructor, brilliant videos! I have my test in February 😳😬
Yes I am an instructor but I only teach manual vehicles. Is your test at Didsbury?
@@NolanSOM Thank you for responding I really appreciate that. Yes it is! I did want sale but I worried I wouldn’t get a place anywhere as it’s all booked up for months onwards! I have my own car I bought to learn in with my partner and only had 3 hours of lessons (2 instructors and they just wasn’t professional) I have another who offered to take me out for a free lesson (well to observe me) once I know 100% I can use my own car (smart car fortwo, love my car 😁) then I’ll do lessons with him (he’s only manual too but can still teach me the rules of the roads. Would you be willing to also teach me in my car for my he’s not able? I like your calm vibe. I don’t want to add my personal information but if you could pass me your email that’ll be great 😊
@@elg5178 If you go to the about tab in my channel the email address is there. Check this link nolanschoolofmotoring.co.uk/practical-test/lesson-plans-for-partners-and-parents/
It should help if you are taking private lessons👍
@@NolanSOM Thank you. I looked into the link and found a number so I texted you (sorry I said Nolan and not Gary) if you can text me back that’ll be great 😊
And today I failed my test on this last roundabout
Sir I could kiss you
Azmath Choudhury 😂
Thank you 🙏
