You know what would be badass? If the individual units monitored the Bluetooth RSSI and automatically activated depending on your proximity to them. In essence, they would "follow" you around the house. You walk into a room, the lights just ramp up gently while the audio of whatever you're currently playing gradually crossfades to just the right volume.

That's easy! Just buy them install them in bedroom and put some romantic music, put a few rose peddles leading the way (i'm sure you know where this is headed). The only problem is you might have to repeat that every so often so she can see the value in them :P

how do you put your lamp shade back on, not to mention the width of the bulb? is your lamp shade has a wide frame support?
would be cool if they have an option in the app for alarm clock, where the lights play the alarm sound slowly increasing as you reach the time you set to wake up and also the light turn on brighter and brighter till you wake up and turn off the alarm in the morning
You can do that if you want, if the phone is paired with Bluetooth the whole time it will play all sounds through the speakers. There are already many apps that gradually increase the volume as the time goes by.

2 words...Tasked Integration? These would be great to put next to your bed and use them as alarm clock. You could have Tasker wake you up by turning on the light along with music playing, all through Bluetooth. I do that now but only use the speaker from my phone with the z wave GElink bulbs.

The problem with Bluetooth is that it sends all of the sound from your phone to your speaker (ring sound, notifications, etc...) and also the limited range. Is this one different by any chance?
I don't see a problem with the range, I can pretty much go anywhere in my home and the audio doesn't cut out. Unless I went outside, but at that point I wouldn't care. As for the sound coming from your phone, you can use an iPod as the dedicated device. That's what I do so I don't have to tie my phone to it. You can also use a laptop or computer (if it has Bluetooth).

I bought these in hopes of pairing them with a roku streambar but they will not pair with it and will not pair with my tivo stream 4k so these are useless to me
My app doesn’t search for the bulb, I cannot make any modifications to make dimming nor change speaker volume. I only can connect to the bulb via my iPhone Bluetooth and hear the audio keyboard, that’s it. Tried to contact with Sengled company, but got the worst customer service ever!

The Solo is just for one light, hence the name solo. It's if you are 100% sure you won't pair them and is probably better sounding for L+R channel setups.

My first initial thoughts, seemed gimmicky but had to try them. Once you use it you begin to think "why didn't I think of this first" It truly is genius and the ideas and possibilities of where you can use them is endless.

Though i love your videos,this one was not so great. I mean you should have not wasted a video completely on this gadget. Maybe you should include 5-10 gadgets at a time.
