1st rule of sports..and fight clubs; never play in a stadium that has more seats than you have supporters. That said I have no idea why Aussie Rules is bigger than this. I have watched about 20 AFL games in my life. 1 actually came down to the last seconds of the game. Every other game I have seen was effectively over midway through the 3rd quarter.
@@69handy considering that 2 of the biggest teams in the NRL were playing, the timeslot shouldn't matter. If Richmond vs Collingwood was played on a Monday night in the AFL, easy 85,000 crowd

Miko Rebz this was Monday night football, crowds were always down for this time slot. On a Friday or Saturday night they’d get 30k instead of 19k
