if your Middle Defender (Cuora/Beagle/etc) get stunned too instead bottom defender (Gumi / Cardigan/etc), please looking for lappland because the trick lies there. Lappland Traits disable enemy special ability when attacking, so the enemy wont stun you because silenced. or you can just kill sniper before you get 3 hits, because after two hits their 3rd hit will be a stun attack. thats mean you need bring more powerful Shirayuki / SA (i recommend both of their skill is lv 7) to kill them before that, or try to get their skill timing right

I replaced Cuora with E2 Specter and Steward with E1 Eyja but otherwise used the exact setup of yours. After countless fails with high rarity squad this finally succeeded. I'm never going back to this stage again.
Edit : nevermind I finally cleared EX-5 CM stage after 4 hours haha thank you for the help. @@DenaAmaya oh yup I watched it but I can't apply that strategy as I don't have Ifrit or exusiai so I can borrow 1 unit at most. I do have silverash but I don't know how to apply him.

This strat is super helpful, I have yet to actually complete the run in anything other than practice mode though because I'm unlucky and both of my defenders end up getting stunned in my actual runs (even tho I'm using Lappland). I never want to see those damn snipers again.
make your lappland E2 for easier run so you can silence that sniper for 5s, or make your dps skill rank and lv higher so they can deal enough damage before that happen (3rd hit of sniper is stun attack)
this was so chill wtf, struggled a lot with Kyostin's ifrit strat, specially since ifrit is quite uncommon as a support, but this one i got on my first try and silverash is way more common
Managed to do regular mode with quite simple strat, couldnt repeat the same on challenge mode (not involve any special roadblock strats). Tried 5 different selfmade strats+every single one i managed to find on youtube (dont have ifrit and just recently got chen, so she's not lvled/geared yet) + wasted 3x30 free try ticket + around 60-70sanity with no luck. This guide is a real deal. Ezpz, 1st try. Courier>e1s2texas Cuora>e2s3hoshi Gummy>e2s2saria Stewart>e1s1amiya Orchid>e2s1angelina Shaw>e1s1feater Shirayuki>(borrowed) e2s2 meteorite Ansel>e1s2silence (that what i used; all lvl7 or lvl7m1 abilities).
Finally clear it with your video as ref. I didn't level Shirayuki, swapped with Catapult. For me Silverash must be S3M3, M1/2 is always not enough. Also had to time the block at the right side whenever my units couldnt clear it in time. I feel that Cuora sometimes getting stunned is quite random even when gummy was taking the hit.

nevermind , cleared it with swapping Ash and Lapp's position and used Chen instead of Lapp, and used Eyja instead of Stewart ,wouldn't have even cleared it in the first place without your original strategy, thanks!
Luciferion the Great I put it where OP put his Ash, and put Ash in Lapland’s place, and I forgot to mention I used Meteorite instead of Shirayuki, but I think Shirayuki’s slow is better
I really can't get this to work at all. :( Cuora always gets stunned at about 50 kills and I've been trying to follow the advice of other commenters but nothing I try seems to work.
thats mean you're not dealing enough damage to bring down sniper leader before their 3 hits (stun), so you need to make your Lappland to be E2 to be constant 5s silence, and maybe upgrade unit lv and rank up their skill (best is rank 6-7)
I wonder, can i replace silverash with another ranged guard like frostleaf? I dont have silverash or lappaland, so im thinking to use support lappland instead of silverash, i think lappland will deal more consistent damage since she can spam her skill meanwhile silverash S3 take too long to charge.
its kinda hard without silverash since you need that burst damage, yeah S3 is long to charge but its full at the right time, the problem is you need to kill that Ergate leader fast, the one who sliping away your formation
@@DenaAmaya Well, ive tried replacing silverash with frostleaf and use lappland support instead. Also, i replace quora with hoshi for dps. The problem lies when gummy got lava damage, i actually replacing ansel with silence, since she can remote heal with her drone to heal gummy who's not in silence healing range. But i think i need to time my drone placement since if i place it when the lava explode, it will kill the drone and also kill gummy since at that time my gummy is low on hp.
E2 is more safe since the silence works 5s while E1 is only 1s silence but, it still can work with E1, as long you have enough damage to kill sniper before hit your middle defender (Cuora etc)
one thing this guide kinda forgets to mention: Ansel here has a very important role to play, because his skill expands his healing range and lets him heal the stun bait inside volcano range no need to worry, though, you can actually just place a random unit to the left of silverash (past the rock that would be between the two units) and as long as that unit stays stunned, no enemies will attack it and it will be inside the healing range of a non-Ansel healer I had to figure all that out in a hurry cuz i realized why my medic defender stun bait wasnt healing herself in the middle of an attempt. still helped me, though, thanks!

i tried.. and fail. the sniper keep breaking my defend line like nothing even i gave them a bait target, they just simply stun both the bait and my defender wtf. btw, i think i could replace Shirayuki by Ifrit, and put Manticore on frontline for sharing pressure.ok i will try again after my sanity(both game and reality) restored, wish me luck guy

I just finished it few second ago XD Not good at timing, so i replaced Shirayuki by Ifrit,Ansel by Silence to get the Drone, borrowed Eyja and switch Shaw to Manticore at fronline. Even though, my defend line still get broken when Sniper+Swordman together. Luckily the support Eyja saved my mind by her Volcano in the last second :V
E1 can work too but too dicey, you need bring more powerful shirayuki / silverash to help you there, catapult can work too as long she's powerful and their skil lv is 7, and try to get their timing skill right. good luck!!

@@DenaAmaya Yup, Elite 2 lv7. What I thought is that the vanguard I'm using (siege) kills the enemies faster than your courier thus taking away some hits to Lappland. And since she has a on-hit charge, this screws the timing...
if cuora blocks a sniper and gets hit twice, she will get stun. If u noticed in the video most of the sniper dies b4 they can get 3 hits off while being blocked by cuora, so u have to use shira/sa skill to clear the sniper asap b4 they get 3 hits on cuora while being blocked.

alternatively, fast deploys like gravel and red helps alot if lappland is not e2

yes this strats using more common unit, and you still make some improvement for a greater run like change steward to eyja, or orchid with angelina etc

Castle 3 wouldn't survive even just the bait stuns, much less replace gummy's position

Do you know if Lapp has to be E2 or is E1 Max fine?

do you have her at skill lv 7? SP Cost also lessen when you have her at skill lv 7
