Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman have been touring recently in celebration of the prog rock band’s 50th anniversary and their 2017 show at the Manchester Apollo. The three musicians play classic tracks such as Roundabout, Owner Of A Lonely Heart, And You And I, Hold On, Heart Of The Sunrise, I’ve Seen All Good People, and more, to a sellout crowd and are joined on stage by Lee Pomeroy (on bass) and Lou Molino III (on drums).
Jon Anderson - vocals, guitar, harp
Trevor Rabin - guitar, vocals
Rick Wakeman - keyboards
Lee Pomeroy - bass
Lou Molino III - drums
Incredible to think this is almost half a century old. Long time fan (since 1972), but have lost touch with the line up in recent years. No more Steve Howe or Alan White? Jon's voice is holding up remarkably well and Wakeman loses nothing with age. Amazing considering their age.
Howe and White are in another version of Yes. There are two bands now called Yes due to artistic differences (silly feuds).
Only one yes the one with Jon ..
The other one is a cover band..
@@sgmeero I would hardly call "the other one" a cover band since Howe and White are in it.

...AND no more Chris Squire on his loved Rickenbacker-Bassguitar.... - R.i.P... From * MiChAeL * here in Copenhagen in Denmark
Jon was 73 years old there, is today 77. Rik is 72 yeas old. Fantastic listening these young guys playing their music 50 years old.
Oh, if only Chris Squire had lived to see the 50th anniversary ... I miss him so much 😞
I like to think he was there in the spirit.
💢💥💫👍
Lifestyle prevented him being there
There will never be a another John Anderson . Wow what a voice after all these years 😍
Jon
...nooo!! Nunca habrá otra voz que lo reemplace ...nunca será igual ❤
Greatest Prog album of all time. A masterpiece.
Phenomenal... Trevor is the real concert Yes-guitarist - perfect in his own song (of course) and plays Steve Howe's parts extraordinarily good and tasty - Lord bless you Trevor!
Mr.Jon Anderson, your voice's coming from heaven..
Just as spectacular as when I saw them at Cornell University back in 1973 (I think). I was mesmerized.
I'm not usually a fan of these later 'reimagined' versions of such classic music, but this take on And You And I is fantastic. Jon Anderson especially sounds awesome.
When I hear the music I believe in God.
I am speechless, didn't expect to find this masterpiece
Dear Jean; Jon, Rick, and Trevor, The Yes derivatives meet Central Harlem in its Upper New York glory being appreciated.
The band's name on the marquee will spur the neighborhood's interest.
Dear Jean Naimar, Oh! I'm sorry. At 10:55 minutes: This is in Manchester. I stand corrected.
I love Trevor Rabin, I loved 90125, and Big Generator, not many guitarist could step into that role, I just think he's so talented....I love him
Convinced more than ever Yes is Jon Anderson & Jon Anderson is Yes
Heroic music!! Can't believe Jon's voice is is still so good after all these yeas.
Choir boy like Bono. They know how to project and protect their voice. Hosted Jon for a wine tasting last week. Nice guy.
I will forever be grateful for the cook at the restaurant I worked at who loaned me a half dozen LP's to listen to. It was 1974 and I was fourteen, and my musical tastes were teetering towards heavy metal. When I listened to those Yes, Rush and Pink Floyd albums with the headphones on, I was transformed. While I never got to see Yes live, I did get to see Pink Floyd on the Division Bell tour, and I did go to see Rush every tour from Power Windows to Clockwork Angels. Thanks again Mike James for lending me your records.
Great musicians! And Jon's voice at this age is just astonishing 🙌
Jon Anderson has such a beautiful face and voice his voice is absolutely angelic ❤❤❤
We all miss Chris Squire😢 rest in peace Chris you will be missed❤
Bienaventurados los que estuvieron allí 😮😮😮
What beautiful music ! Nothing else like this in our world
Rulie, thanks for the lyrics in the picture - great idea, perfect realization (no loss in picture and sound quality) - thank you for taking the time!
I love this song - this is agreat performance of it.
This album was my first introduction to Progressive Rock. What a great album. Thank you Bill!!
My introduction to Yesmusic was GFTO; I was twelve years old.
...nunca he dejado de oirles, desde muy jovencita los tengo de preferencia, hoy con 60 años, los sigo escuchando y no puedo parar de dejarlos oir ....llegan a mi corazón ❤️🎵🎼💯
CCTE is a magical album
Jon Anderson is such a gifted vocalist that he can sing harmony to his own original melody just for variety. He does it in a few places here, really cool effect.
Such masters of memerizing
Wow, just wow.😀
Makes me want to see them live ❤
Thank you for putting the lyrics in your videos!
Love this song. It really touches my heart. One of my favorites by Yes!!!! 💖💖💖🦊🦊☺️
My favorite YES song!
One of the purest voices in Prog Rock of all time !
Perfect!
So beautiful !
Amazing after all these years.wow!
This is just incredible good music and it is forever…👍🤟
Это волшебство! Это про Любовь!
Большое спасибо вам за эту музыку!
Aside from the truckloads of fake applause, it's a nice performance. I particularly like Rabin's guitar solo.
One word AMAZING
What kind of great band it is.🌞✌️🚀🥁💫✨
Fantastic
Nada melhor que ouvir yes como yes. Músicas clássicas . Já entraram para a eternidade. Sempre o melhor.
Ellos indiscutiblemente son los monstruos del rock progresivo, sin discusión. Que músicos!!!.
Use to listen to this Song and others by Yes, Close to the Edge of the Niagara River Gorge at NiagaraFalls NY USA 🇺🇸 tripping my brains 🧠 on Good Old LSD back in the Day
Trevor Rabin é monstro!
Trevor Rabin is a technical monster. Steve Howe is a spiritual soul.
Beyond time ❤🙏
Genius.. Lee Pomeroy cukup berhasil
Lee Pomeroy has the best job on Earth
Highest Spirit of Music. My fav YESSONG

Wild ism your kin i love you!!
The opening really had Gate of Delirium feel to it. (which Wakeman wouldn't/can't play)
I was furious when I realised they had dubbed in a fake crowd. I'd been so impressed by the show I'd seen in Nottingham. Some of the best playing I'd heard anywhere. The audience was silent during the music but the applause was enormous at the end of each number. I thought there was a fault on my CD player. Maybe it was for the American audience. Any one know different?
Trevor Rabin was responsible for that, and he has apologised for it in a recent radio podcast interview. And I agree with you. I still haven't made it through the blu-ray because the fake audience noise is so disturbing. You can even see that the audience is dead quiet, just sitting there. But you hear cheering and a lot of applause. Pathetic. You can even see it in this video. Too bad, because Yes featuring ARW was soooooo good live. They play rings around the current version of Yes.
@@hogne Totally agree about the quality of the band. Molino sounded wonderful and Pomeroy clearly adored Squire's playing. Maybe they can issue an undoubted version. Some hope!
I have been to many Yes shows. Never have I heard a show like this. This album is completely ruined. There never was audience noise in the quiet parts. Too bad.
E il bassista? Pieta per quelli come noi ,che abbiamo amato gli yes anni 70
This is what happens when people with 160IQ get into music. Jaw dropping stuff.
Tony Levin on drums!
Every time Wakeman presses a key, an extra micro-jule is sent up his wrist... Keeps the battery on the pacemaker up to charge..
ジョンアダーソンは現在は元気にやっているのかなー❗
Amazing - but I think there could be just 2 or 3 more keybords on the scene 😀😜

So has anyone ever figured out the meanings in Jon's lyrics.
Wakeman are sleeping....where are minimoog in the main solo?
Scusate, cosa ci fa Trevor Rabin negli yes?
🙏👍🦋♥️♥️🦋👍♥️♥️🌈🌈🌞♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏
Like this song so much better with the electric guitar instead of the steel pedal guitar (which sounds so dated and corny!) Miss Yes with Trevor Rabin!
Not ‘YES’…..’ARW’ !
Sstarbucks CDs and keyboards and laptop DJ a genius for a few bucks say celeb sunbeam and the light rays open mic acoustic guitar an alternative to pubs cover band
50 years, and I still don't know what the lyrics mean..............
It's never seemed to matter though 😍
Neither did he ...
No one does. They don't either.
Great music, but do *any* of Yes's song lyrics actually have a meaning?
AJ F it’s a Love Song
You & I
Sycodleic Love 💕
The fake audience sound has completely ruined this album. Thanks mr. Rabin for doing that. A real Yes audience never ever does this. Too bad. Maybe reissue without the fake audience sound.
Why does Jon wear a golf glove now?
Tendonitis.
hits the tambourine with that hand.
Have this on BD. Lousy mix and terrible random audience noise. Too bad because the playing is stellar!
A great song, but Steve Howe would have made it even better. he adds such a dimension to a song.
I think this concert not under the name of YES... After crish squire pass way only Steve howe and some friends still use name flag of YES.... Is that right?
You are correct. This ensemble was known as "ARW" (standing for "Anderson, Wakeman, and Rabin").
how it should be soundind some power steve come ty fuck
All the crowd noises at weird times during the music, and whenever you get a glimpse of the audience they look like motionless mannequins.
Who wants to be the one to tell Lee Pomeroy that his bass is strung upside down???
You do.
@@katemurphy1915. I’ve watched this video 5 times and you’d think he would have noticed by now! 😆
He must have learned on a right-handed bass in his formative years. Surf guitar pioneer Dick Dale played "lefty strung righty" as well!
Yes is an all-time favorite of mine but those lyrics do not make any sense at all. Just a bunch of words pulled from a hat it seems.
So who really gives a fuck😅😅😅
Para mí, Trevor Rabin es mi guitarrista favorito, sonido rockero me flipa, pero con esta canción no lo puede superar a Steve Howe... Él (Steve) le pone su toque personal y sus guitarras la hace única!!
Sorry Trevor, but is not your song!!
No but Trevor makes it sound so much better
ARW is NOT Yes...I've heard much better versions than this
fake crowd noise ruined it
😆
Really could have done without the fake audience. Added nothing but a sense of fake drama. A real YES audience would have shut the fuck up and just listen. It's not a damn soccer match. (BTW, had the pleasure of hosting Jon and his bride Jane a few weeks back in Napa, CA for a wine tasting. Lovely people)
Welten besser als die Howe Band, die eigentlich nur noch peinlich ist.
Who in their right mind thought mixing in that fake crowd noise was a good idea?!? Makes this and every other clip from an otherwise perfect performance unbearable to listen to.
I guess because that performance certainly did deserve a huge audience response. I don't know what was up with this audience though.
The show I went to was full of hard core Yessers who were really listening instead of mindlessly whooping ever time there was a key change or new tempo.
@@donaldanderson6604 I just can't stand that it's obviously dubbed in after the fact. There's no need to doctor the recording in this way and, to my ear at least, it becomes an actual irritant as I find myself dreading/waiting for the loop to repeat.
They ruined this album with too much fake applause etc. That really never happens at a Yes concert. Really too bad. Ruined the album. The best live album is the very first triple one.
😍😘❤💢💥👍👍👍
Una. Gran. Banda.
