This needs more views! I'm 21 and looooooove old music from the 50s and 60s. Just PERFECT! Great job!!! Not a fan of what my friends are listening to. This kind of music makes me happy, and it's the best!!!
Why do people walk past great musicians playing live. I honestly sometimes wonder if a portion of the human population are immune to good music. These guys are great.
One of the best expressions of pure soul music. I was born in 1977 but my soul is timeless, and doo-wop has my heart. Nothing like man, music and amazement. Thank God for Doo-Wop
My favorite Little Anthony and The Imperials song! Love the touch of the upright bass. Love the reverb in that area! One, giant, semi-natural, amplifier. This is music! Unlike the garbage played nowadays, THIS is a great sound!!
Same here! I love Little Anthony! I saw him up in Schenectady in October 2012 and I'll never forget it! It was a golden oldies spectacular with old members from The Diamonds, The Crystals, some other groups, and Little Anthony himself. They were all getting pretty old -- I actually wonder how many of them are still with us. They did all of those great old doo-wop/pop/soul/rock-n-roll songs from the late-'50s and early-'60s - Little Darlin', He's a Rebel, Then He Kissed Me, Tears on My Pillow, Goin' Out of My Head, Heard It Through the Grapevine, etc. The funniest bit was at the beginning when Little Anthony came on stage and said how happy he was to be in Schenectady, but had trouble pronouncing it - "It's so great to be here in ... Skuh-neck-a-tiddy!" 😅
Reminds me of fishing trips with my late grandfather and the two of us singing along with the music. Love the harmonies and how the bass actually comes through!
Nice performance although the lead vocalist could've emoted more. The guy in plaid shorts and white tee shirt is awesome. These uploaders would do a far more important service than merely posting these videos by identifying the singers by name and where the street performance occurred?
I find Solo/Single street artists/musicians are more willing to give their names and other info pertaining to their growth. Most seek a future in the industry and want to get their name out through exposure. I know this group quite well and they just enjoy performing to crowds throughout subways and parks around the city. Earning some extra cash along the way is obviously an added incentive. There are also personal reasons why artists decline to up their names. As for the location, I believe if you check the drop-down arrow you'll see listed, Central Park as location

Very talented Hebrew Israelites
Mediocre at best. The lead is decent. The harmony is second rate.
