A little Brief
Kple is the ancient Ga-Dangme dance from South Eastern Ghana. Kple songs and dance hold texts which embody their historical, cultural and religious heritage.
Historically, the dance is said to remind us of the fact that the Ga Dangme society were governed by a theocracy. Thus dancers of Kple are priestesses whose entire beings are put at the disposal of the invisible gods as they seek a physical medium through which to communicate with society.
