@44 seconds, those were all the kids I went to Sunday school with, as they are the right age as I was when I left. Watching this video brings back some incredible memories.....

I began a member of Rhema Family Church in 1997/98; became a member of the choir and with the Manna program (food service) and get involved in many of the smaller groups of Rhema. I remained when Phil Baker rebranded it as Riverview Church - I remember the board’s positioned at the back of the auditorium where we could write our suggestions on the new name of the church and I write down ‘Riverview’ like many had. It became unanimous and so the Riverview name was born. The five year plan did come to fruition with everyone committed to its future. Today it no longer resembles this. Where have all the small discipleship groups gone and the food services etc? The attempt to raise funds just a few years back was a horrendous flop that caused the departure of the senior minister and unfinished renovations, blame games and a lot of disappointment- never been the same since.

Thanks for your comment! Cool tip about Rhema, the case for this tape is Riverview branded though so who knows? I have a pretty extensive collection of Christian VHS, a fair few from Perth, sourced more or less much exclusively thru the op shops. I and my team of VHS hounds have spent many drunken hours perusing this collection ;) There are a couple other Riverview/related vids on my channel.

The five year plan presented here is for Rhema church, not Riverview Church. Phil Baker started Riverview after Rhema after shut down in the same building, but they are truly two different entities, and this video was for Rhema. Between, where did you get your hands on such an interesting VHS??? I attended Rhema until 1992, and am fascinated watching this video.
