No thank you, no one at the highest level is holding their steering wheel at the widest part. It's uncomfortable as hell, you feel like a bus driver. There are more people that are holding the steering wheel higher than me, in comparison to those that are holding it lower than me.

@@nicklelsThere are literally no top rental karting drivers that hold their steering wheel at the widest part. I don't know who the "top" drivers are that you are referring to, could you name a couple?
Actually, we have much more control over the kart when we hold the wheel near the top. Holding it at the top is physically more exhausting, but because of it we can feel the forces much better, we can feel better what the kart needs to reach its limit.

try holding your steering wheel at the widest parts of it and not 10&2, much more control.
