And what I always wondered was did MJ even work with his kids to be a great basketball player? That's the million dollar question, because you see how good kids of former greats are now, and they are getting World class trainers, working with Dad and other NBA players, over the top exposure, etc. I just don't recall seeing anything related to MJ and his kids when it came to basketball back in the day. Great player, doesn't mean he was a great Father. Just sayin...
I've said for years: "Those are not MJ's kids." They don't resemble him in any way at all. Basketball or otherwise. Something's fishy here. #Changemymind
They do *slightly* resemble him.everybody genes are not as strong in the looks catageory human genes are meant to be that way.if not we would all look exactly like adam & eve.
And this is why I hate that people are bummed out that Kobe doesn’t have any sons, and daughters instead. Just because an NBA player has a son, doesn’t mean they’ll follow in the footsteps of their dad, even if certain things do match.
This is a great video. I love ball got a chance to play juco and the d3 level. My son is 4 and Im really not going to push basketball on him. I want him to find his own passion and if that turns out to be the sport I love, I will help him navigate that path. But really I just want him to be a stand up guy and know his father supports him on any path he chooses.
A knife's job is to be sharp. It gets there by sharpening. It's the only way it knows how to. But... no matter how much it does what it only knows how... it won't be anything but a sharp knife. If it wanted to be something different it couldn't achieve that.
@@AndreaBaixinho A spoon could be a knife if you sharpen it enough and the right way. Ask dudes in prison. A knife could also be a fork if you use it that way. Ask army vets.
This whole video means NOTHING unless Jordan himself actually wanted basketball greatness 4 his sons. Otherwise, them leading and living successful lives is great enough 4 a man of MJ's stature. I think when u reach that level of celebrity u jus want the best 4 ur kids. And support them throughout....
Their uncle (MJ's older brother) is just a 5'9" Michael. They played exactly the same. Even above the rim. But at that size, he didn't have PG skills, and being that short kind of ruled him out for the 2 guard spot. It's not meant for everybody like JC said. But who knows, maybe them grandkids will be hell on the court.
EVERYTHING BYJOHN I went to watch my older cousin at a Gatorade camp and they said MJ was going to be there, so one game was played with his brother, and I thought it was him because he was doing what I saw on tv, dunking on everybody, scoring when he wanted, etc. Plus at 5 or 6 everybody was tall to me so I didn't think anything of it. Then the last game that has the best players and some of the people running the camp played. Starbury, Matt Harpring, and one of the Barry brothers played since they we're going to Georgia tech at the time, and Mike came through to play, and I was like "ohhhhh, that's the real deal Jordan right there." but enough of a childhood sorry you probably don't care about, point is Larry Jordan held his own (Also, he insisted on being on the opposite team of his brother. It is like Lebron. His kids are very talented, but are not likely to have the height their dad has. Even Bol Bol, and Shareef O'Neal are not as tall as their fathers.
@EA -Sports They are also 3-4 inches shorter (and in Shareefs case smaller framed) than their father's. Their are some examples of kids having the same size/athletic ability as their NBA fathers. If they are not the same type of player it is less likely due to the physical difference. Gary Payton II is a great example of that.
@EA -Sports Jeffrey is 5 inches shorter so is bol bol. Marcus in 3 inches shorter Shareef is 4. Now they're all y'all enough. None of them have their height but tall enough for their positions
Just because their father was MJ doesn't mean they should have to be an NBA player. Most people don't make the league and genetics are something not in your control anyway.
