    The coop is beautiful! Solid build. Looks like a " chicken spa" lol😂 they will be pampered chickens! awww❤

      Thank you! Yes, haha - we have been calling it the chicken mansion due to the cost of lumber! But we will get many years of use and happiness out of it.

    Wine, those bottles are beautiful! Pork fat vs Lard, I have been looking for shelf stable cooking fat options. Got a bit overwhelmed with all the versions of fat/ lard/ flaky? lard..duck, beef, pork, etc...oh my! Ideally hoping to find one, for sweet and savory options. But could use 2, if its better to separate.

      Aren't they so pretty?? Yes, it can be overwhelming. I find pork lard to have a very neutral flavor and I know my granny used to use it in pie crusts for both sweet and savory pies. Duck fat is so delicious but definitely has a stronger savory flavor in my opinion. And of course butter is always a good choice for sweet or savory as long as you can tolerate dairy!
