Out of everything in these lyrics, there is one bit that sticks out. Imagine drop pods striking the heart of the hivecity, out come the marines and the only words they utter are, "We bring the name Lorgar..." and the bolters unleash their salvos.
We used to hold the emperor as our god yet our reward was death and destruction. Korne was honest, nurgle kind and loving, tenzch helping keep hope alive, while she who thirsts showed us beauty untold.

"The architect of this shithole galaxy, who ruined everything, for everyone, forever. Lorgar endured a traumatic childhood of abuse by Kor Phaeron (piss be upon him), but still found a way to be a (relatively to 30K) good person at first. He hated war, wanted to be everyone's friend, and used religious worship of the God Emperor to uplift Mankind. His approach to the Great Crusade was not only the most peaceful but spawned fanatically loyal and prosperous worlds, making him pre-heresy Magnus-tier levels of bro. Too bad he chose to listen to Kor Phaeron and Erebus after the Razing of Monarchia killed his psyche. This makes his downfall vastly more tragic, as even during the Heresy he still had enough good in him to risk death against Corax to save his sons, while genuinely caring for Angron. But following Monarchia, Lorgar would go from benevolent to monstrous. He caused or helped ensure other people (his sons included) suffered HORRIFIC fates from Chaos, whether they wanted it or not. He sent 50,000 of his sons to die at Calth because he deemed them 'unworthy' of fighting the war. He screwed over the two brothers he supposedly loved the most by making one a permanent slave to Khorne, and engineering the events that would lead to the other's downfall and death of his world, not to mention his noble dreams. Lorgar's totally blasé about his crimes and uniquely unrepentant for them. He was fully aware of his actions, their consequences, and was self-aware enough to doubt the very morality of his path repeatedly, only to continue his atrocities. Kor Phaeron's inner monologue implies that Lorgar had far more agency than he's given credit for, making Lorgar's efforts to deflect blame utterly cowardly. All of this makes his actions during the Heresy truly heinous. The sheer cruelty of his deeds and the psychology behind them completely outweigh whatever redeeming qualities he had, and leave him all but unworthy of sympathy. Had it not been for the excuses of his traumatic past, goodness in the Crusade, and his NAYtheist father fighting with Kor Phaeron for worst father award, Lorgar would be the most evil primarch in 40k. Depending on who you ask, Lorgar would earn that dubious honor anyway. Given everything that happened, can you blame them?"

This is why Lorgar is my favorite Primarch. I don’t care if he’s not the best in combat. I always prefer the underdogs and he kind of is the underdog compared to his brothers. With his entire character arc. He’s just well written honestly. One of the best villains in my opinion in most fantasies. Not because of his prowess but because of his charisma and speak the word to the masses.
Lorgar wouldn't have done any of this if he had a better father than Kor Phaeron, his psyche was fragile as a child, and that bastard manipulated him into becoming dependent of his approval, which grew worse when Erebus came. Those two are to be held accountable for the Heresy and every single one of it's atrocities
Malcador actually wanted to help lorgar as he knew that the belief in the emperor was something to have but to see him not as a god. He even tried to help him and regrets having to destroy and make the father of this religion watch. Out of all the brothers he felt that lorgar was preventable.
As for angron. The emperor could have simply sent his custodies down to aid in the rebellion and keep his son alive while freeing his son. Then could have sores his son in stasis to research how to remove the nails without killing him. Then having a son who would not only respect him but also probably have a noble leader who actually cared for his troops.
