- This is the story of four young musicians from Sweden who defied the musical dominance of Britain and America, reshaping the landscape of popular music. In the early 1970s, ABBA emerged as a revolutionary force, blending catchy melodies with sophisticated production techniques that captivated audiences around the world. Their unique sound, characterized by harmonious vocals and infectious rhythms, quickly transcended national borders, challenging the prevailing Anglo-American hegemony in the music industry.
From their breakthrough win at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with "Waterloo" to their meteoric rise in the global charts, ABBA's influence was undeniable. Their innovative approach to pop music, combined with their charismatic personas and meticulously crafted performances, not only won them international acclaim but also paved the way for future generations of non-English-speaking artists to break into the mainstream. The story of ABBA is not just about musical success; it's a testament to the power of creativity and resilience in overcoming cultural and industry barriers, ultimately leaving an indelible mark on the world stage.

@@markcraven8386 Not sure about that
LUCKY YOU!!!!❤❤❤❤
Their music has been present in my home since I was born in 1973...and still does to this day! Thank you ABBA ❤❤❤❤
Eu também sou de 27 05 de 73.
Adoro o Abba.
Oh, wooh. Thanks for share. One of the best music bands of all the times. Greetings from Panamá 🇵🇦
Fantástico esse documentário o melhor que já vi da maior banda que já existiu nesse planeta, obrigado pela música.
Abraços do Rio grande do Sul Brasil.
Que buen documental es preciso en fechas y sobre todo esa entrevista creo fue de las últimas de ABBA.
AHORA SON LEYENDA Y GRACIAS POR EL LEGADO MUSICAL 💖💖🙏🙏🌷
Impossible to get the SNL parody of ABBA out my head when I see the edited headshots music videos. Back then it was the industry norm, but SNL took it to comedy gold. Don't think for a second I didn't hum along and snap my fingers to ABBA in my youth.
Very nice documentary, tells the truth and dont add their own thoughts to it
One of the most brilliant pop groups ever.
Frida ❤❤❤❤
Feel the beat of the tamborine , my god thats so stupid! But for the rest its quite genius. Thanks for uploading!
I used to think so too until my ex insisted on adding the tambourine on-stage one night. Initially, I rolled my eyes but it REALLY added something special to the song. So I get it.
I feel sorry for people such as yourself that need to slice and dice every aspect of a song and feeling the need to share that via the comments.
@@iansmith587 Tamborine man, eh?
@@twistoffate4791 Thanks. My thought was that you don't feel a tamborine because the sound has a high pitch. But maybe I'm wrong.
Fantastic band.
This was seen in 1987 (on Finnish TV).
Too bad the original image format is spread out to widescreen. It gives unnatural faces.
I Love Abba ever,❤
