Sounds like not having a good day. Always be thankful for what we do have brother! Thanks for the video.
Sounds like those cows aren’t looking that bad!! No parts on them !!
In the cattle lot the best fence will still get pushed and stressed we use electric fence on inside of our lot fence about 2 foot above the ground with stand off insulators, fence will hold up long time.
since those threads were already messed up and needed to be replaced you didn’t really have anything to loose maybe you could have ordered the new ones but then try to solder the wires to the posts if it lasts until you need too do this project again or even a season or two it would save money in the long run and increase the time the new ones you would have as spares would last or maybe you could cut the ends of the wires and strip them back a little ways and crimp a old fashioned alligator clip on and clip them on the terminals
Hey Matt the problems with the combine is this something you and Andy are going to continue to work on or will you have to send it off to be fixed? Good luck and I hope it won’t be too expensive. God bless 🙏🏻
I deal with this type of crap working on cars and trucks all the time. Frustration is just a understatement
Matt, still better than breaking in the field with wheat to cut and 90 degrees to work on it with. 🤷♂️
Matt any chance you could braze a brass stud on your injector? Not sure about the nut problem but if you had a stud with fine threads. You could find a nut. This problem is just crazy and it appears engineered to sell parts not reliability. And they say Cummins is so great, really?
Welcome to the if I didn’t have bad luck. I wouldn’t have no luck at all club.
I’m the founding father of that club…
damnit i hate that sad part is it may be best to pull the damn head and have someone double check the valves out i been fighting fuel system troubles on my tractor i have damned injectors for mine is like 300 bucks and still not right have to pull it back down to double check things and may end up having to pull the head on mine it must be season for fuel systems to screw up hope things work out for you on that damned thing
Prevented maintenance will always prevail repair of engine is cheaper than a dropped valve
So how much did that big cow weigh?
1640 lbs
Did the doctors get Mrs Griggs and your son straightened out?!
welcome to my luck
“A 20% win rate does not run this farm” 😂😂😂
Sad thing is Kelly is probably right for most farms
🦾🦾
Buy a Deere.
Why?
Don’t you know about electric fence
Matt I'm with Kelly , you doing maintenance is what made you look over that lobe. Trust me you dont want all that metal going threw your bearings!!!!
Through not threw.
Agreed, it's better to find it then the engine to grenade in the field, fixer up
Guardrail fence KELLY !! Never a simple fix on these HIGH TECHNOLOGY MOTORS 🤦♂️🤦♂️. Preventive maintenance for the next guy !! Thanks to everyone!!
hell may as well inframe it if the head ends up coming off replace bearings check pistons etc. but who knows you may have to pull whole engine for all that, just a thought.
Need to put a double eletric fence a very hot get as many Gems as you can get
You guys need Slappies, Like Sonne Farms :D
Hope things improve soon for you . .
I've been in that cattle trailer a few times 😂
Damnit man. Alot of my farmer friends say the same thing. Goid luck.
