Thumbs up if Curry deserved to be finals MVP
Nantille Boards facts I was so mad when he didn't win it
Nantille Boards Damn right
Nantille Boards He got robbed
No i deserved it.
Just win, baby!
deserved finals mvp
Bijan Z No
Bijan Z i agree i think curry should’ve won FMVP but Iggy also deserved it for being a LeBron stopper
everyone says that he stopped lebron but he averaged a triple double and 20+ points on him
Edshot Machine yeah but iggy didn’t guard him the whole series only games 4,5,6 n in game 4 he held bron to 20 points under 40% from the field
iggy was the series changer, they were down 2-1 until he became a starter, then they won 3 in a row
the media really be hating on Steph Curry what else does this Kid has to do to get FMP? robbed in 2015 and 2018 He out played KD 3 GAMES OUT 4.
true that .. fuck the media.. especially Rachel NIchols and Howard Beck. They have lost credibility in my books.
He really did deserve it in both years, but you can't say he was robbed in 2018, KD had insane numbers too.
Iguodala might've had great impact, but Curry was WAY better, it was freaking ridiculous
He definitely got robbed of MVP their first finals.
2017 was definitely kd MVP, 2015 I should have been steph over iggi, and 2018 is 50/50 with kd and steph I think
He did not played better than KD on game 2 dude. Curry was horrible the first 3 quarters on that game then had an explosive rth quarter. Curry to win finals MVP needs to be more consistent on the games. Yes he is explosive but the guy has instances where he disappears for like 2 or 3 quarters on games. Same shit happened against the Rockets on the conference finals. Yes Curry is amazing when he explodes but the advantage KD has over him is that KD is way more consistent than Curry.
GOOSEBUMPS everytime steph hits a shot and looking back at his first championship never gets old
This guy hit so many clutch shots in this series and still did not get FMVP, everyone watching knew he deserved it.
The look on the Cavs faces every time he made those shots lol. They are basically throwing their hands in the air, he is unstoppable!
Curry should've won finals MVP that year.
Is it just me or is it that in Curry’s 14-15 and 15-16 season when he shot the ball it just sounded so smooth when the ball went through the net😂
Tyler Jones FACTSSSS
Naruto Uzumaki
Yes
Imagine if he never had ankle and knee issues. He’d be in his prime even longer and be even greater than he is
Carl T. Boobs his prime never ended lol, he had to take a little backseat for KD
Carl T. Boobs that 15-16 curry🥵
This year curry was a God at scoring inside the three point line.
It’s crazy how a bad shooting game has basically cost him the FMVP when his team won the championship. It was Game 2 in this series, Game 4 in 2017 to a lesser extent, and now Game 3 this year.
Curry would've won the FMVP if he was rocking with Nike or Adidas.
Fucking Kobe shot pretty shit in game 7 boston finals but still gets MVP. This is weird as hell.
Game 1 next finals.
@TheBestFighter dumbfuck
@@goatedcrafty7733 Kobe was great in the other games dummy
Curry robbed of 2 Finals MVP
Jordan Franklin Not a problem we know deep in our hearts he is the true MVP
I think iggy deserves the mvp award .. Andre defend lebron most of the series and he did a pretty good job on that .. We all know what lebron is capable of .. You cant stop lebron from scoring, the warriors just need to slow james down and they executed it with iggy guarding him and ofcourse, curry did the remaining job of scoring and carries them to the '15 title ..
Tim Labarda true statement but I remember ppl talking about giving LeBron MVP on the losing team because he outscored both sides. I think Curry deserved it more.
Tim Labarda but curry does a lot of plays like clutch plays
alligator_7 baron davis is retired his not in this roster anymore
Look at curry man so inspirational
I feel like people just look at how good Curry is at 3s that they forget how good he is at almost everything he does
Curry the real ultimate warrior
He should've won FMVP in that series. He was clearly the best player for the Warriors in these finals, unlike the finals of 2016-2018.
In 2018 he did his thing too. I don’t understand how you lead for 3/4 games and don’t receive it. But then again people vote on this and they can also be fans of the game or just have hate on a certain person
DDTV bro most of the people who they picked to vote for FMVP said beforehand that they would vote for lebron or KD, there should be a no bias rule or sumn
also you got some fire edits
Stfu i deserved Finals Mvp in 2015.
Even tho he isn't the best player on the team anymore. He should've gotten it in 2018. Durant and curry both had one bad game and one really dominant. But the other 2 curry was better. It's his team it shouldnt have gone to durant not when it was that close
Andre Iguodala ✔️ No the fuck you didn't
All those 3 point fouls that went uncalled
Still going uncalled to this day
Lp
Warriors fan since 75. Nobody hated us during that 40 year drought. Now we're at the pinnacle of success and everyone is a critic and a hater. I'm loving every minute of it because it won't last forever. But for now...screw all the haters!
m cooper Damn how old are you
Brandon Brooks Nigga really old 😂
Tuff Ain’t it nigga must be like 70 on UA-cam 😂😂😂 smh
Brandon Brooks old head 😂😂
To be fair, I would probably be happy as hell too if Kevin Durant joined my team in 2016. That being said, obviously you'd be happy that your team received a cheat code basically for nothing -- on top of an already legendary team that seemed to be in no danger of slowing down from their 73-9, 5-points-away-from-a-championship season. Of course other teams and fans wouldn't be happy.
FMVP is an award paid for by Nike.
They are going to favor Nike ambassadors whether you like it or not. It's not a conspiracy, it's just obvious business.
i agree
It's alright. The general population isn't expected to be bright enough.
i agree coz steph is Under Armour
Mariah Lin is iguodala a nike ambassador ?
yare yare daze yea he is sign with Nike
Just happy I can watch this in peace knowing the chef got his deserved FMVP in 2022.
One of the biggest tragedies in NBA Finals history is this guy not winning Finals MVP in 2015... What a joke...
Yet being a team guy, and 2 times MVP he legit dont care.
I remember the odd for Iguodala winning the FMVP was 200 to 1
Ridiculous to give it to Iggy. They got caught up in the moment of a guy who was originally on the bench coming in and having a few good defensive possessions on Lebron. Curry was the clear cut MVP that series, the worst part is he didn’t receive a vote. Iggy got 7 and Lebron got 4. It doesn’t make sense to me.
If it weren't for Iggy defense the Warriors wouldn't have won the finals that year
Because curry always give thanks to God in all his achievements , they are evil people everywhere
Curry played much better than people gave him credit for in this series he averaged 26 5 rebounds and 5.2 asists and 1.8 steals against iguodala's 16 5.8 and 4 i love iguodala and he was a main player on our dynasty
but there is no way curry didn't deserve that FMVP iguodala won it because of his defense on lebron but lebron still averaged 35 points
warriors should have won 2016, but this series he would not have won if k love and kyrie were there, so...
Curry played so good during this year physically and specially mentally, he was so focused on just winning and not worrying about literally anyone. Thats what made him looked so great. Because of Curry's confidence Lebron just couldnt match. Hope to see this dude on this mental awareness once again!
Just because of KD u fucking idiot
Anybody remember Dalodova had to check in the hospital after "TRYING TO GUARD" Curry?
Well the dude drank coffee before the game. He basically dehydrated himself lol
He also clamped that shit up too this is just highlight curry was struggling with delly
Sure dude...Curry averaged 26 ppg this series. Delly really "clamped" him, eh?
@@arguingwithstupidpeople2047 Bron averaged 28 7 and like 4 I think vs the 2014 Spurs but people say Kawhi was clamping his shit and he was statpadding... so which is it there... see how those numbers dont always tell everything 10-20, 5-23, 13-23, 8-19 are not great numbers let's be real. If Bron got clamped by Kawhi Curry def got clamped by delly. You not arguing with a stupid person here I live this basketball shit lmao
@@Maajeezy most of those are above 50% shooting so what are you saying. this ain't 2k shooting north of 45% is very hard to do in real life lmao
He should've won this f-mvp in this year for all those efforts he make and all clutch plays the nba didnt appreciate all curry's effort here
Who’s here after Curry got his 1st Finals MVP?
26 PTS, 5.2 REB, 6.3AST, but not winning the FMVP, how ridiculous.
KD put up 35, 8, and 5 while literally winning the series for them with the dagger in Game 3.
Edit: Yes, I mixed up 2015 with 2017
@Thegamer That's a bad miss lol
@Thegamer Do you want me to delete my comment or something? Because I'm not doing that
@@chuckyjamesamartin1968 you are from lebrick fans right🤣😄
@Jèrõmè Jr.@Râlté Ah yes, a front runner fan has challenged me to a duel. This should be fun. I'm actually a Warriors fan and Stephen Curry fan, but I can't stand when people prop him up and give him credit for things he doesn't deserve
I miss when it was just the splash brothers. It was more entertaining.
@Sasuke Uchiha lookin forward too it. Excited for what they can accomplish
The real leader of Golden State Warriors and the best of player of the team. That dude who joined him just to get some easy championships is leagues below.
Slap Daddy lebron's better, difference is lebron can pass
Slap Daddy Personally,I think he is the second best player in the NBA right now behind LeBron James.I know he is great,I just hate him because of his dick move to join GSW.
@ bill kevin
It's not a dick move. He can make any choice he wants. Also nothing comes easy Huston almost beat them.
Brandon Ninja In my perspective,it is.Joining the team that beat your ass is like admitting you are worse than them and not try to beat them yourself but actually join them.Again,I am not denying Durant's greatness,I just think he is a pussy.
2016 NBA finals would like a word with you
And this should be his 1st finals mvp.
MVP of the season but not finals mvp??
The real FMVP.
Stephen curry has a lot of haters since even though he was the one who carried his team during their first championship, he was not the one who was lucky enough to be the Finals MVP.
Though steph curry has become more efficient throughout the years, his movement here seems more dynamic (like look at that fake spin he does on lebron then shoots it right in his face, he doesn't even do any spin moves now), his passes crisper, and his handles as well penetrating easier. He takes a lot more twos and is more confident in how he takes them. Its like he lets his killer instinct drive him more as opposed to his more cerebral and formulaic game now, though he is still at his best when he lets loose obviously. Hes also shiftier in these highlights playing with the defense more in the paint seemingly because his athleticism allows him to though hes skinnier. It might be a combination of more wear and tear on his ankles, becoming more formulaic in the approach to the game to achieve more lasting consistency, and defenses playing him a certain way, but I still think there was a certain vitality here that he gradually has lost a little bit.
agree, curry has been getting so much slower in his game recently. His athleticism is definitely decreasing but hey, he is thirty after all. In my opinion, 2011-2013 Curry (maybe 2014 as well) was the best Curry we had.
I totally agree. Seeing Curry in these highlights he is so loose and natural. Hope he gets back to this.
Honestly I think it's just him conserving he has taken the back seat role he doesnt have to exhaust himself night in and night out think about it if he wasnt scoring in this series who was ? Now he has KD lmao a 4 time scoring champ...he can take weeks off
i dropped a comment about this earlier, I can tell that it's due to the countless ankle sprains and injuries he's had to go through. His speed is clearly hampered. I've had three ankle sprains from snowboarding and every time it becomes more susceptible to another injury. I can feel my ankle being pretty weak. yes there are exercises you can do to strengthen it but it really will not be the same. Just gets weaker and weaker, hope he can be more cautious or something. I enjoy watching him play and would love to see him continue for many more years
I believe there are 2 reasons for this:1) Injuries have taken a toll, but its really not that much. His movement, handles, ability to dribble penetrate and endurance are all still elite. He still, according to tracking data, runs more than most NBA players, and he really hasn't lost a lot of speed as well.2) The arrival of KD means that Steph is no longer required to be the main man offensively. He is now mainly the facilitator of their offence with his movement, passing and game IQ. He is now able to defer more as he is no longer needed to get 30 a night, even though he is more than capable of doing that and still often does.
This first championship was EPIC! , it’s magical when a singular super star can lead a team to a championship, not multiple super stars. And no klay is not a super star but a star
Yep, and Thompson in this time is still a role player.
He was an all star
It's been exactly 3 years since stephen curry's first ever championship title.

Remember, It takes SOME people TIME to accept something that is unseen before to register in their mind & eyes that this guy is on another LEVEL ! !
It's crazy to look back at this now, everybody looks so young. They just want another one and they got more to win it's crazy
Yeah. Steph looked 20 in 2015, then looked 28 when he was 28 in 2016
no one could guard curry
In this series Iggy averaged 16-6-4, while Curry averaged 26-5-6. Does anyone really think Iggy was more important to the Warriors Championship than Curry? Seriously - look at Curry being double and triple teamed while Iggy goes completely unguarded. Awarding the FMVP to Iggy for his defense on LBJ was just another sickening nod to LeFraud.
Lefraud would have average 60 on em if Iggy wasn't there 😂😂🤣
Shabbillionair stop using hypothetical statements. lebron scored like 8 on jason terry gtfoh
@@cableerror9790 ok i get that and ygtfoh 😂 Iggy still had majority of the defense
@@Shabbillionair Lebron scores triple double on his head. Draymond guarding lebron too. Lol
Shabbillionair Defense... but the FMVP goes to most valuable player... if Curry never played well they wouldn’t even have a chance at scoring and ball movement
That 3 he hit after running through three screens while fading away was just straight up unreal 10:30
U mean all those moving screens
TTA' Gh0sT! why do people always say moving screens like yu cant get to him?
@@cableerror9790 because that's how the Warriors men get open. This is a man's game there are times WITH the ball when a defender can't guard the offensive assassin but if u notice a lot of the time steph and klay are wide open for threes especially klay. Now correct me if I'm wrong but klay in my opinion is more consistent than steph so why on earth would any team leave him wide open. He is open because he move around the defense and there is usually a moving screen to help him get open like that. Also I love klay and steph do don't call me a hater why else coming from a rockets fan would I be here

Game 4 22pts 9ast 4/6 3s
Game 5 37pts 7ast 7/13 3s with 13/23 from the field and 17 in the 4th
Game 6 26pts 6ast 9/21 3/11 from 3 decent game
Curry averaged a bit over 10 or 11ppg in the 4th quarter of these finals it's crazy how he didnt get FMVP while Iggy only averaged 16-6-5
Never gets old. Robbed of the FMVP. And hated for stopping LbJ multiple times. I mean seriously seeing this highlight and how he played this series shows he’s transcrnded the game. If it wasnt for the injury he had in 2016, and the politics involved for letting the cavs win, they wouldve won that as well.
And if it wasn't for the injuries to kyrie and klove in 2015 cavs would have won that
Hated for stopping lebron? Without the cavs injuries, they win 2015. Steph blew a 3-1 lead in 2016, and draymond was gone for one game. Then he needed to go call KD.
@@joefrankenstein5553 Uh, no. Cleveland wasn't as good as Golden State in 2015, and they win the series whether or not Kyrie is healthy or not. The Cavs fell behind 3-1 on Golden State in 2016 despite dreadful performances from Curry in games 1-3. 2016 should've been a Golden State victory, and the only reason it wasn't was because LeBron and Kyrie had all time great game 5's, they got out to a quick double digit lead in Game 6, and Curry kept missing in crunch time in Game 7. They beat a demoralized Golden State squad that had their 2 best players shoot just 6/24 (25%) from three by 4. It should've been a wipeout in Game 7, but instead it took a last minute shot from Irving to seal the deal.
@@chuckyjamesamartin1968 i find it dumb that you respond to my reply after ots been fove months first and foremost. Second, if lebron took the warriors to 6 without his 2 allstars they win in 6 with them. Thats how i feel about it.
@@joefrankenstein5553 And I feel you're wrong. Golden State was the better, more dominant team in the regular season. However, it probably goes to 7.
63 now saw the 75 champs won’t choose which I liked more cause it’s all about the trophy . Oaktown the city I was raised in . The best.
No riots celebrating the W . Championship parade was peaceful full of joy and togetherness. Criminals take the day off too. 😜
Explain to me again why Curry wasn't finals MVP?
Steph Curry should have been the FMVP that year
He already won a ring without KD, and he’ll do it again.
You mean he won a ring cuz kyrie and love were out
@@jordanxx2461 nope
@@damoondagoat it’s exactly how it went

Curry should the one who got the Finals MVP
The voters need to do better. You can't have a season and a game like Curry did in this finals not to get finals MVP. It's a small window and you have to get it right the firs time. The media screwed him two chances in FMVP. smh.
