Nice to see Tim back in the spotlight. He's one of my favorite fighters today for the simple fact that he fights everyone and never backs down. What a beast! There's still plenty of big fights for him where he can get right into the mix.
His corner should have stopped the Fundora fight after 4 rounds, he was up on the scorecards at that point. Bad management not bad luck. Went into the Bakhram fight overconfident and admits to not even watching his opponents' previous fights. I'm a Tim fan from the start, but this latest loss showed his arrogance and defensive flaws. He's not at the elite level, and has to develop his defensive skills and the way he throws some of his punches. Bakhram exposed this over and over withy the knock downs. His brother had to throw in the towel. Igor is a good coach but not a world class trainer. Sadly, his team blew smoke up his butt. I hope he comes back from this, but I don't think he will get to the elite level. He fought Harrison and Medoza for the world title, and they both are nowhere near fighters like Bakhram, Terrence Crawford, Errol Spence, Charlo, etc. Tim's delusional if he thinks he is.
I'm a fan of Tim, but he needs to stop this BS. Tim still not taking full responsibility for the beatdown he took from Bakhram. Got caught early = didn't give his opponent any respect before the fight. Went in reckless = the same as above. Not watching any of Bakhram's fights was a huge mistake. This guy trained for a world title fight during Ramadan and still won!!!! Also, belittling his opponent on the way he speaks. He got what he deserved. Until Tim becomes humble and accepts full responsibility, not hide behind excuses, he will never become world champion again. The skill level between Tim and Bakhram are miles apart. And Time wanting to fight Terrence Crawford, etc , is fanciful until he learns how to fight at the elite level. Bakhram said he studied Tim's previous fights and they trained for those knockdowns. How can Tim showcase what he worked for when he doesn't even watch his opponent's previous fights. So full of sh*t. I hope he turns it around, but I don't think he is at the elite level. He was badly exposed.
Im perplexed that he still has the same cockiness about him after the last performance ,starting to think hes a bit of a narcissist and cant see past his own ego. He's a bit painfull to listen too . He wants to convince the Australian public hes still the man so he can milk PPV's for years to come in Australia . 3 months ago he was done with Australia and moving to the USA. Atleast watch your previous fight and own your loss. No respect for this guy ....
Sad this guy still refused to give opponent credit, " fight didn't go long enough to say he's skillful" what you talking about he's skillful enough to knocked your lights out 😂😂
The guy was class and showed alot more too me than any of his previous fights I watched on him...He was quicker heavier handed fighter than people gave him credit for..Tim will come back from this and win a version of the world title but the three big organisations fighters are class for a reason but WBO belt or an interim title is def possible..
@levidean3196 Just a boxing fan that follows boxing if Tim was skirting around fighters he wouldn't have fought either of his last two opponents but I don't have time to get the construction paper and crayons out for you to understand so...🤷😁
No no no Michael Zarafa had his chance to fight Tim ! But chickened out two weeks before the show true story and when you look at it both Tim and Nikita gain nothing by fighting Michael Zarafa nothing sorry mate your wrong there.
How has this guy trained for years and years yet doea so many things fundamentally wrong? Its like he skipped level 1 and went straight to level 8. How hes gotten this far is mind blowing...
@andodrozdowski3832 Tim had the same attitude towards Bakhram, yet still refuse to give guy credit saying "fight didn't go long enough to say he's skillful" is this guy delusional. I hope this arrogant muppets gets another knocked out lessons 😴
Always liked Tim but one problem is Tim always views his opponents & other fighters through a very austere lens but when it comes to looking at himself he takes that lens off. When Zerafa was "bragging" about having gone the distance with Kell Brook, Tim was quick to point out that "going the distance with someone & losing is not an accomplishment." Well then neither is being knocked down four times & getting back up to be TKO'd or fighting with a cut on your head & losing. Kill or be killed right?
I look forward to seeing you be the world champ one day. And gain multiple belts. IBF, WBA, WBC & WBO. There are many of us who think you can do it and believe you will find a way. In my mind, you are already a world champ and just need to prove it. You were unlucky with Fundora. You would have won except for the headcut. You were fairly beaten in this one. You can overcome.

Im a Tim fan but he cant keep dodging Zerafa if he wants to be the biggest name in Australian boxing in my opinion. He tried his luck on the world stage and got what i believe was a wake up call. He needs to reset fight some decent fighters back home such as Zerafa and then make a push back to fighting in the US 2026 if he still has the motivation.
He goes in with the same style everytime. Wanting to lay bombs.. This is what happens. He should of used his distance and kept his jab out there. Controlled the fight. Simple as that. Ffs!

Tim is a fantastic boxer but he went into a bout not as prepared as previously and overconfident. The team surrounding Tim clearly underestimated the opponents skill which wasn’t well known. The opponents team however, researched Tim heavily and had a clear plan of attack which identified weaknesses in Tim’s preparation- not moving his head, not setting up punches and being overconfident clearly lead to his loss. Tim either needs a new team or have better preparation for future fights to be successful. Love Tim but he’s not going to last long if he uses his jaw only as a defence against stronger opposition. His confidence has clearly been rattled so he will need a few tune up fights to get properly prepared.
No one believe it was all based on that first blow, granted it did good but that’s not all it was. No one buys it anymore. Give the guy credit, you moved up and lost power, a lot of power. The other guy is just a better fighter who beat you in every way possible. You look and sound punch drunk now.
He needs to keep his mouth shut and his ears open. He isn’t elite but he can be if he listens to the right people. Shame to see such a talent wasted because of his ego
