There's a lot of AI generated images in this video. Usually have these on in the background but it's pretty off putting to see people with 6 fingers per hand. You usually only get that in the South of England.
After the death of Olav, they looked after a while at his dead body and thought his nails and hair had grown, so they deemed it a miracle. They didn't know at the time that when the skin dries after death, it retracts, making it look as if hair and nails have grown.
I like these. The script is mostly on point. Not always, but mostly. Said, props to the voicework. Inflection and energy where you likely dont have a background. Good stuff.
Since I have watched the thumbnail recommendations at the end of the video, I am going to watch: x What Hygiene Was Like For Medieval Peasants x Why Do Babies in Medieval Art Look Like Creepy Adults x The True Story Behind 'The Irishman'.
1:26 Paganism and Early Christianity is literally the epitome of “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Like look who’s torturing people for not renouncing their faith now. Luckily Paganism eventually came back and Christians (mostly) mellowed out so all’s well that ends well

Reading these comments makes me glad I'm not the only one turned off by all the AI artjunk. If y'all are gonna use it, at least check it out a little closer and be a bit more discriminating with it.
0:06 I watched a film called Christmas On Misteltoe Farm (2022) where the family lived on a farm by a villege in Englad. That village is completely different than those in the US!

And they even have the exact quote? Yeah, that sounds like literally the fake ass history story I've ever heard. So they killed him and left her alone to tell the tale?
5:57 Just watched the music video "London Bridge (Oh Snap)" by Fergie, it is a banger! Also, Fergie gets a vodka martini and in the music video "Bejeweled" Taylor Swift is in a vodka martini!
Look, y'all got 2 weeks to stop using AI . If it continues so blatantly, i will unsubscribe from ALL your channels and never watch one of your videos again. Signed, a fan of y'alls since the beginning
This is the first time I've hit the dislike button and I've been watching Weird History for years. I find these AI generated images off-putting . I do believe this is the first time so many have been used and it feels like its a lazy way to portray historical events. Although they are quite good, there's just something about their faces (and most obviously hands) that distracts me. Please go back to ho you've made videos.
While I also prefer to see authentic paintings, photos, and artwork from specific time periods when learning about the history, I personally feel that as long as any creators of pretty much anything just state the origin of their sources when assisted by AI, just like everyone has to do with any other type of source, I think rock it out if you think it turned out really well! The majority of the artists who are so up in arms about their work being supposedly "stolen" or "ripped off" by persons using AI are generally those who a) failed to formerly register the copyright to their works to legally limit the use of said works and/or b) fail to recognize that EVERY ARTIST OR EVERY TYPE, KIND AND STYLE whether consciously or not, creates their work with many types of influences from those who created amazing pieces before them. So, as an artist myself, I'd like to ask those who are getting all offended for all of us, without even asking us first, STOP. PLEASE. WE CAN HANDLE OUR COPYRIGHT BUSINESS AND ANY ALLEGED OR SUSPECTED INFRINGEMENTS OF IT OURSELVES. We all appreciate your point of view and your desire to be sure every artist is appropriately credited and afforded the appropriate royalties, usage fees, and source credits they are due. However, AI IS JUST A TOOL USED BY SOME PEOPLE TO CREATE OTHER TYPES OF CREATIVE WORK. *Unless you happen to be an attorney specializing in copyright or trademark infringement law. In which case, I would offer my humble apologies for stepping on the more knowledgeable and experienced toes of a legal and licensed member of the Bar. Thank you for your time and consideration. Artist rant over. . . . for now.❤
Normally I'm a big fan of this channel, but the amount of AI image use in here is ungodly disgusting and incredibly distracting. Really disappointed in you guys

You need to do a video on Eric The Red and Leif Erikson..... And London Bridge
Hot damn, the narrators sass is on fire in this video
I loved his nerdy scientist impression. That sounded like a new one.
A+ video!

The bridge shown in the picture at 5:51 is of Tower Bridge. While it's a bridge in London it's not London Bridge.
9:17 23andMe is so helpful for finding networks of relatives and ancestors.
It's so fascinating too!

Just found out the Netherlands killed and proceeded to eat one of their prime ministers in 1672. Would love to see a video on this mishegas.
I'm sorry but I have to point out an inaccuracy in this video, "London Bridge" by Fergie can Not be called a banger
