Zac Broxson Father and son. I think father is analogy for the normal society. Hence to why they ask Is my clothes alright? Is my hair all right. The song is about rebeling against that norm. They call it the King of pretend because they dont see the normal society as a reality they see it as a fantasy. Just a thought

Think it's what "it says on the tin" ..... about pretentious sycophants/socialites who know everyone, but in actuality have no real mates, but yet judge and look down on people who don't look as "beautiful" as they do. A cynical but honest indictment of the vacuous Instagram generation.
