In this video I show you how to make card with embroidery. This design is easy to make when you have never done this before, but it gives a beautiful result.
You can choose to use one color for everything, or two like I did. You can even use more if you want to.
Embroidered cards are good for any occasion: a birthday, christmas, just a beautiful card you want to give to your friend etc.

Necessities:
- folded card
- extra paper (same color as your card)
- needle
- something to prick small holes with
- template (see link)
- surface to poke the holes on (some layers of cardboard or thick felt)
- embroidery thread
- tape

In deze video laat ik zien hoe je een geborduurde kaart kan maken. Dit design is makkelijk te maken, ook al heb je het nog nooit eerder gedaan, er zal een mooi resultaat uitkomen.
Je kan ervoor kiezen één kleur te gebruiken voor alles, of twee, zoals ik heb gedaan. Je kan er nog meer gebruiken als je dat wilt.
Geborduurde kaarten zijn goed voor veel gelegenheden: een verjaardag, Kerstmis, een mooie kaart die je aan een vriend wil geven enz.

Benodigdheden:
- dubbele kaart
- extra papier (in dezelfde kleur als je kaart)
- naald
- iets om kleine gaatjes mee te prikken
- sjabloon (zie link)
- oppervlak om gaatjes op te prikken (een paar lagen karton of dik vilt)
- borduurdraad
- plakband

When you finish, close your holes. Use a ball stylus and work over holes on back of card. I have made at least 50 of these cards with different designs.

how do you know how many holes to skip ( for any design) ? thanks
If some lines are drawn on the design, you can count. Most designs give two numbers, 1-5 for example, which means that you skip 3 holes(the thread goes from hole 1 to 5)
