This recording shows the true BASS power of the Bosendorfer. People play on their 290 and record the music with their mediocre microphones, but this is sth else. Dare I say it's even better sounding than the samples on the Bosendorfer channel.
Thank you very much Mr. Bacos for this very nice comparison. It is simply fun to hear these many beautiful instruments played by a master composer. It also becomes clear that each instrument has its own character. But for me, the Bösendorfer 290 Concert Grand has an even more mature sound that magically attracts me not only in the epic basses and then never lets me go.
Great Sound of all libraries. Fantastic work VSL. well done !!! I have the Vienna Imperial the old Library and i like it a lot. Is there a update for old Bosendörfer vienna imperial player ?

I've noticed that the Synchron engine has required well over 4 GB to load the mic samples in other people's videos. When I open the Steinway D-274, the highest I get with the 5 mics that come with the standard package is around 1.3 GB. I'd assume that more memory usage would mean fewer audio pops since pulling from RAM is faster than from a drive, so I'm wondering if the engine allows users to control/increase RAM usage manually for that purpose. I have the memory to spare, so I'd prefer the higher performance.
Hi Brian! Yes, you can adjust the PRELOAD SIZE (the size of the sample start that is loaded into RAM before disk-streaming starts) in the Settings => Database manually. We 're running a quick test to determine the streaming speed of your drive, but you can override the value manually. -Paul
I wish you do some soft and close micing review of these pianos, I'm just tired of hearing thunder like fff-ff peaces with room mics ripping my speakers apart😁♥️
That's the thing: Some like it with a lot of reverb, the more the better, others like it bone-dry, and the rest likes it somewhere inbetween. So it's great to have all these mic positions, so you can get the sound with as much or as few reverb as you want :)
I have an SMSL amp using an optical signal to my PC and listening with Sennheiser headphones. I actually cried. The Bosendorfer and Steinway are absolutly beautiful. I would have to go with the Steinway. Bosendorfer has the bass but Steinway has the range and "completeness" in the sound.
I'm not so picky myself. Depends on the budget and which kind of feeling you're after. If you have the budget, I think that the Yamaha N1X/N3X are hard to beat as MIDI Controllers. Personally, I also like the top-of-the-line Roland and Kawaii masterkeyboards/pianos. - Paul
The TRUEST, (i should say), piano sound i've ever heard together with Keyscape; and perhaps the only virtual piano sound that allows one to play fluent classical music. Everybody knows that VSL samples one note a billion times in a certain velocity rate, everyone knows that the library is splendid... yet you should upload close-miked versions of these. That's the only way for us to determine how good the pianos sound. I own a Roland FP-30 and with some reverb on it sounds great. Without it however ... it disappoints a little.
Hi Stenaldo, Great to hear that you like our products! You will find demos for each microphone solo'd In the "preset" tab of each product page. E.g., Concert D-274: www.vsl.co.at/en/Synchron_Pianos_Bundle/Concert_D#!Presets Paul/VSL

The Liszt Ballade on Bösendorfer Imperial was sooooo rich and dramatic. Can’t describe the sensation it gives on those bass notes

@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary awesome, thanks so much!

Great video !
What about the Bosendorfer 280VC? It would of been nice to hear that along side the rest.
You are right! Time for an update. We'll have it ready with the next Synchron Pianos Special Offer! - Paul
THE BEST IN THE WORLD.NOTHING CAN BE BETTER THAN THIS VSL SYNCHRON PIANOS 100%❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Imperial is my fav but all are high quality
Can't say I like the mic selection - hard to determine differences when everything is distant and drenched in reverb.

the Blüthner 1895 is beautiful
Finally a real piano. Thank you
Is there a physical product at the moment, or is it only digital download?
This is a digital download only, but during the check-out you can also order a hard-drive with the installation files on it.

The Rachmaninoff piece is so beautiful on these pianos, my god

what master keyboard you used here ?
I think it's Guy's old Roland master keyboard, but I forgot the model.

Hey why put the piano so far back? It should be behind the conductor ...all the time.
Stop it VSL ! Enough torture 😪
Simple solution: Get yourself at least one of these ;-)
@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary pretty sure he has the CFX :)
Technology has come a long way. If I close my eyes it’s like I’m hearing a real piano being played.
