Atheism appeals to those who do not want to think about accountability to a creator. They think that by simply denying the existence of a Creator, the accountability simply disappears. I once asked an atheist "what is there is a creator?" He said: "There isn't". I kept asked him to humor me, so he said: "Then I will be effed".

I wouldn't say that. What Dawkins certainly meant is that it's about empirical evidence. Science isn't about any sense. Good old common sense isn't enough to understand our world. Common sense might tell us, as it did in early attempts to study natural laws, that all matter in the universe is made of four elements: air, water, earth, and fire. But actual studies and experiments show that three of them can have many elements and the fourth, fire, is just a visible reaction of elements. Common sense also kept people believing the Earth is flat for a long time until people actually approached the matter scientifically.
Science never said it was based on common sense. It's based on rigorous experiment, and observation from the world. If science was common sense, people would have discovered scientific truths 2,000 years ago instead of believing in religion.

As salāmu ‘alaykum, good points overall Brother Zeshan, like regarding Dawkins’ deceptive portrayal of the scope of science to the general public, and code needing a coder analogy, etc. One slight tweak I would make to your argument is that I would leave out the bit about physicists not dealing with common sense (or having non-intuitive explanation for physics), because this weakens the presentation overall, and the agenda behind scientific research (which certainly exists) being extended to physicists. The connection to physicists is not obvious and probably does not exist as it does in the other fields you cite. JazākAllāhu khayran for your work.

But I think anyone that does not approach the life of Muhammad ﷺ with bias cannot deny that he was sincere and devoted (an example I have been thinking about lately is that he ﷺ used to pray for hours during the night, and live a life of self imposed poverty). In distinction to this, anyone who knows the history of Christianity and the Bible knows that the religion as it currently is was shaped by geopolitical considerations and even machinations, such as the formation of core beliefs like the addition of the Holy Spirit into what became the Trinity. For reference, see the excellent works and lectures by the late Dr. Jerald Dirks and also the videos by Brother Paul Williams. The truth is out there for all to see. I really am starting to believe that many people who deny Islam and repeat Christian talking points refuse to look at things impartially, and many have an deep seated bias towards the religion of their forefathers, even if that bias is hard for them to detect. May God guide us all, and may we approach Him with humility and thirst for truth and fairness. This is not a trivial issue, it is actually one of salvation, our literal eternity depends on it. In aviation it is still more advantageous to use Newtonian theory in computerised instruments and navigation systems. Remember, this works to a practically high level. It is a real world experiment that demostrates that those equations correlate to the real world ie. proof. There certainly are problems in combining relativity with quantum theory, but that is the goal. A Grand Unified Theory.

Therefore, it is illogical to accept doubt, use it as a tool, but negate the primary Existence. Similarly, an infinite regress is not logically possible. If some scientist makes such extraordinary claims, which defy logic, the onus is on them to disprove God’s existence through falsification. Henceforth, the dogmatic ones end up saying strange stuff like accidents gave rise to everything, there is no objective morality, and after admission of being agnostic due to impossibility of falsification, they still vehemently classify themselves as atheists, and then preach it in the same spirit. If you are sincere and intellectually honest, you will notice the contradiction of this position, and search for the truth.

I have been working as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years now. Apparently as a person who writes code and puts logic behind some thing whether it be for creating games or writing code for an application it reminds me of the design and properties placed in this world that we know nothing of and it starts increasing my Faith more and more in Allah because than you start analyzing things that exist in plain sight that look simple but are not that simple. usually people give examples of colors but why is it green or why is it yellow no one can answer that. The properties were added there for them. The things that you see have been created and fashioned in a way to behave that way to act that way. for example Chlorine gas is naturally greenish-yellow in color, and its distinct color cannot be changed because it stems from its atomic structure and the way it interacts with light but why ? Because I won't say its the same (Code) like C++/C# but for understanding purpose I would say its a code that's put in place so it acts that way. the color of the chlorine gas should change every time but it doesn't cause the properties wouldn't allow it to. Its same for the dying person everyone is close to him yet no one can actually save him. The laws are in places and the concepts that we follow throughout our life comes from Allah, All these concepts exist within our mind because we were supposed to get it. The grass turns green , the grass has now turned yellow and the grass is dead but why does it happen (they will explain the process of it happening but will never actually go beyond it) as we are restricted by our knowledge .
Good video but that remark where you said "I'm surprised that he's still alive" was wrong. We should instead hope Allah knocks some sense into him and he fixes his ways. Hope for the good for everyone in a way which satisfies Allah.
If "we should" then its optional and you can't say I'm wrong. If "we must" then its not optional and I will be wrong (provided you show the evidence, which you have not). You may have a preferred way but to enforce it on others as an obligation is mistaken.

Common sense might tell us, as it did in early attempts to study natural laws, that all matter in the universe is made of four elements: air, water, earth, and fire. But actual studies and experiments show that three of them can have many elements and the fourth, fire, is just a visible reaction of elements. Common sense also kept people believing the Earth is flat for a long time until people actually approached the matter scientifically.
Science never said it was based on common sense. It's based on rigorous experiment, and observation from the world.
If science was common sense, people would have discovered scientific truths 2,000 years ago instead of believing in religion.

As salāmu ‘alaykum, good points overall Brother Zeshan, like regarding Dawkins’ deceptive portrayal of the scope of science to the general public, and code needing a coder analogy, etc. One slight tweak I would make to your argument is that I would leave out the bit about physicists not dealing with common sense (or having non-intuitive explanation for physics), because this weakens the presentation overall, and the agenda behind scientific research (which certainly exists) being extended to physicists. The connection to physicists is not obvious and probably does not exist as it does in the other fields you cite. JazākAllāhu khayran for your work.

I really am starting to believe that many people who deny Islam and repeat Christian talking points refuse to look at things impartially, and many have an deep seated bias towards the religion of their forefathers, even if that bias is hard for them to detect. May God guide us all, and may we approach Him with humility and thirst for truth and fairness. This is not a trivial issue, it is actually one of salvation, our literal eternity depends on it. I have been working as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years now. Apparently as a person who writes code and puts logic behind some thing whether it be for creating games or writing code for an application it reminds me of the design and properties placed in this world that we know nothing of and it starts increasing my Faith more and more in Allah because than you start analyzing things that exist in plain sight that look simple but are not that simple. usually people give examples of colors but why is it green or why is it yellow no one can answer that. The properties were added there for them. The things that you see have been created and fashioned in a way to behave that way to act that way. for example Chlorine gas is naturally greenish-yellow in color, and its distinct color cannot be changed because it stems from its atomic structure and the way it interacts with light but why ? Because I won't say its the same (Code) like C++/C# but for understanding purpose I would say its a code that's put in place so it acts that way. the color of the chlorine gas should change every time but it doesn't cause the properties wouldn't allow it to. Its same for the dying person everyone is close to him yet no one can actually save him. The laws are in places and the concepts that we follow throughout our life comes from Allah, All these concepts exist within our mind because we were supposed to get it.

Still none of these theories explain why anything should begin to exist i.e. why do the laws of physics exist.
