But, politicians know what's best for transportation. How much money did it cost to purchase/maintain this bus vs a regular diesel bus???? They probably scrapped it, because it would cost an arm and leg to keep maintaining it.
Lool ye I was shocked to witness it get towed because it retired outta arrow rd division in summer 2018 but came to Malvern in Sept 2018 for dead storage and sat down in the same spot for 6 months until it was stripped in Feb 2019 and towed 2 weeks later. I didn't even know I was gonna witness a towing and the fact that I witnessed one AND it was 1624 shocked me lol
TorontoTransitDude TTC is not retiring their Orion VIIs and they won’t be scrapped and I’m going to pay them back by replacing their NovaBuses with New Flyer D60LF Articulated Buses
Yea they have reliability issues and are in the process of reliability, the 3rd batch is all gone, majority of the 2nd batch and a chunk of the 1st batch are gone
May it rest in peace
Nice catch dude
Thanks!
@@torontotransitdude4924 also on the left i saw 1539 and a bunch of other dead NG HEV's
@@torontotransitdude4924 they still have some in the new paint
I'm surprised that MTA is keeping theirs
Because the MTA isn't stupid and knows how to maintain theirs.
@@dodge1515 these buses are not ready for retirement these buses could last longer like the RTS buses in NY
We don't have the RTS anymore.
Dream Journal Projects what he’s saying is your Novabus RTS’s lived long, our Orion’s didn’t live that long.
Fair enough.
It really is the end I tell ya....
What a waste of still relatively new buses! >:(
Challenger 14 i know, even since Orion is defunct you gotta keep it.
@@dodge1515 they were so new except the next gens leaked acid aka lemons
I hope it goes to a museum or private owner! 🚌🚌🚇🚇
Didn't even last 13 years

When will the Orion VII NG hybrid 1500-1689 retire?
The remaining 43, probably by 2024
Change my mind, they will retire by 2026
Man Miway got rid of their OG’s and they were only like 12 years old
Miway never got rid of the NG hybrids! they are still alive!
@@maarijahnafali6047 I said OG’s not NG Hybrids
@@maarijahnafali6047 MIway got EPA10 3G Hybrids, not NGs.
Yo bro I found one like that but it's a nfs diesel
Both OC,Miway and now TTC Is Getting rid of their OG’s
Why?
