This double jump bug that allows you to jump higher reminds me of Quake 2, where doing the same (but without crouching) would result in massive height and speed boost.

I won't miss it just because of the God-awful AC. The new AC in CS2 atleast gives us some hope. I want the bans to be CPU bans so that cheaters don't just get away by buying a new steam account.

I hope things like using wooden pillars to wallbang where thick walls otherwise would be are fixed but I really hope CS2 has a lot of clean wallbang opportunities. I don't want 1.6 walls but maybe they could give the SAW a use-case as a lesser rifle more capable of wallbangs. Also AWP but precision lineups like the car one in this vid have always existed.
the awp inaccuracy in molotov is very interesting, now awpers will have to be more cautious with where theyre positioned

God tier content never stops! Seems plenty of bugs are still in place, but I would assume, in time, most will get fixed. CSGO was a circus on first release too. Kinda too bad that it took this long for a new game to come out still having bugs, but hey at least we get something newish to play with. Eventually (because no UA-camr streamer or pro scene means no access sadly).

I have the beta from the first day but I got bored of DD2 and I guess a lot of people are too because CS2 servers are ghost towns most of the time... I hope that they will at least give us 1 or 2 more maps in beta to keep it alive before releasing the game in the summer

Ok hear me out. As long as that weird double jump “bug” doesnt let you totally break the map in an unintended way like out of bounds or unfair boost spots, I think it could be implemented as a feature for some skill jumps.

Damn I wanted to look up how decoys work and if i understand it correctly it's just more complicated than I would've thought tbh
there are different decoy profiles for different weapon types
1. set an expiration time of 14 seconds
2. get random amount of shots left between the profiles' min and max values (min 1 and max 3 for pistols, rifles, shotguns and snipers, and max 5 for submachine guns, as well as min 6 and max 20 for normal machine guns), and fire a shot, then do the waiting as I'll describe next, and then repeat it until no shots remain
3. the waiting: get the amount of time it takes for a shot of that weapon to fire (the specific weapon, not the profile) but also generate a random number to add to that (positive or negative) that comes from a normal distribution with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of the profile's "extra delay" (0 for submachine guns, machine guns and shotguns, 0.3 for pistols and 0.5 for rifles and sniper rifles), and then wait that amount of total time
4. finally, if no shots remain, but the expiration time (14 seconds) isn't over yet, instead do the same waiting and generate the same random number but instead with a mean of "pause min" (0.5) and a std deviation of "pause max" (4.0) and do that until the expiration time has elapsed, then make the decoy explode.
so i feel like it takes at least 14 seconds and at some point the shots are more likely to have more time in-between them
