This tutorial is outstanding. It explains EVERY technique in close detail on how to use this amazing tool. My memories to former days of Led Zep/Jimmy Page performances are vitale again. I will get my EBow shortly, and thanks to this video I can start immediately using it. A truly great job is done here. Again, Thanks a lot for having shared your work!
Поздравляю и желаю успеха в освоении! У меня он уже есть, однако, без зрения, испытываю трудности в освоении многих приёмов, но некоторые уже освоил и экспериментирую со звуком.
I got mine today and have a lot of fun with it! This video is the best ebow tutorial on youtube!🙏 Thx so much for it! It is brilliant!👍 Greetings from germany.
I got my first EBow right around 1990, and the audio for this video was included on a cassette tape. The cartoon was made more recently, around that audio. When I got my second EBow, about 10 years later, it came with a completely different cassette, which wasn't nearly as good.
@@psychdlc I got one around 96 with this tutorial on cassette Got a replacement in 2013-ish, it came with a CD, same tutorial I guess they realised that the newer version wasn't as good and went back to the classic
I recommand everyone to liste to The Crossing, Big Country’s first album from 1983. Stuart Adamson’s “ebowing” is wonderfull! And trying to play the guitar of ‘Heroes’ with an Ebow works very well.
Yep. My first E-bow had a cassette with this on it. I bought it back in 2000. I got back into using the E-Bow recently. (Sold my old one along with my guitar when I took a long break in 2008. I picked up the guitar again in 2015). The new one didn't have this.
Wow....this is an excellent video ! Thank you ! I am hoping that someone might be able to answer a question... will this work with a smart guitar ? I have a HyVibe, made in France. The technology is all inside the guitar and I'm concerned if this could in any way damage it? Thanks to anyone who would know the answer.
I struggle with this thing. Is there a particular guitar model that works best? Meaning the output and string distance is optimal for the tracking design.
just got my E Bow and found that it seems to work much better with humbuckers than single coils, and of course, it doesn't work at all with piezo pick ups, like those on a Variax.
I have a black eBow (red logo/red LED) and have yet been able to play chords with it...humbucker or single coil. DOH! Then I see somebody like Keaggy make it sound like bagpipes.
Total geiles Lehrvideo :) Ich finde dadurch das alles animiert ist kann man sich viel besser auf das..Wesentliche..konzentrieren. Bitte so ein Video mal für die..Classic Whammy-Bar. Rock n Roll
The video is really great, but...can someone really do those things with an ebow? I've got one and I find it impossible to do all that, may be I should practice more :-)
Oresama Cray Thanks! The pickups of a guitar contain magnets, so I thought that the ebow might disturb the magnet just like what happens when you keep a magnet near a t.v. Just a thought, silly me.
Man I hate this video. The animation makes subtleties impossible to emulate. I love my ebow, but finding a decent tutorial, particularly from the company, should be a no-brainer. Mr. Rogers' Hippie Cousin here should be replaced by an actual person doing it.
7:10 bouncing and tapping
11:57 reverse bowing

I wish all instructional videos were this good!
Agree. One of the most organized , clearly presented tutorials. Pace, style, and delivery of information is perfect
Thanks!
Brilliant work animating the original tutorial
Fantastic way of bringing it to life
"more fun than a human being should be allowed to have"
Nice Letterman reference!
awesome! this is an animation of the audio cassette that used to be included in the box with the ebow plus.
It moved from cassette to CD some time between the 90s and 2010s, I ended up with both versions after replacing my original ebow (rip)
This is the greatest Guitar tutorial I’ve ever found on UA-cam. Thanks a bunch Sir!
That is super cool! That's the original instructional tape that used to come with the Ebow.

Been heavily considering buying an EBow on payday so this will be very useful when i do, thanks for uploading
Thank you, this is the best elbow tutorial I’ve ever seen!

Wish to see it live
Excelente video!!!
Just got my E-bow....so much fun,and great sounds.
Just bought one of these i didnt know they still made them! A friend of mine got one back in the 70’s!
Just ordered one, I cant wait until it gets here!!!!
Really great, thanks. 🤘👽🤘
Excellent! We love EBow and use it often.
awesome!!! is the audio the legendary tape that came with the e-bow?
Indeed it is
The original version, too, apparently there was a second one that wasn't as good

tremendous work, all thumbs up!
"How to play every instrument in an orchestra on guitar."
Great instructional video on using the plus Ebow. Thank you!!!
Mr Rogers did a great job explaining this device!
i am surprised this video has no million views.
Take a shot every time he says "ebow"
No thanks, I choose life.
Thanks for this video Mr. Van Driessen. I was looking for something like this, and I kinda prefer this over the EH Freeze.
Nicely done and very informative. Oh and 4:58, I salute you for playing Bach!
Would have nice if they included this with the CD they package with their Ebow!!!
Exactly.

GREAT video!
Outstanding instructional video
excellent tutorial
Stunning
4:59 this is a piece of the song of Mats Hedberg
Mats has made a book specifically on EBow
Great video, answered all my questions. I really want to pick one of these up eventually.

10/10 for knowing that Heroes didn't actually use an ebow (even though it's the easiest way to play it)
You should do an animation of how to transition one guitar chord to another without a 2 sec gap.
Superb instruction. first rate. Bravo!!! Thanks!
Just hilarious! Best Ebow-tutorial I could find! Thanks so much!!!
Excellent!~ The best tutorial I've seen on this, thank you. An amazing thing the EBow.
Great job on the video, man! Thanks for all your hard work....that was completely fantastic.
Is this the original audio tutorial that came purchasing an E-Bow in the yesteryears?
Yep. My first E-bow had a cassette with this on it. I bought it back in 2000. I got back into using the E-Bow recently. (Sold my old one along with my guitar when I took a long break in 2008. I picked up the guitar again in 2015). The new one didn't have this.
What about for bass
Way better than a video
IThis is life changing!
Love this video.
This is so fucking good dude. Well done!
This sounds like the airplane safety instructions...
great
What's the song at 0:39? I think, just tthhiinnkk that it might be Darude-Sandstorm. Not sure though.
Most definitely not Darude sandstorm hahahahahaha
awesome man

Will the Ebow work with a bass guitar?
can someone confirm it`s possible play like this? 0:52
Yes it is.
Tu video está increíble.
it should be included as the owner's manual!!
Gracias man
The audio of this is included (or at least used to be)
The animation is new
Who's the host?
Thanks
Amazing clip!!!!

Thanks a lot, i will start practicing soon. :-)
EXCELLENT!!! DasTarD
Has anyone tried playing a slide and ebow simultaneously? Thanks.

Bonjour
C est le tuto qui explique le mieux l utilisation de l archet e.bow.
Merci😎🤘👍
Bloke sounds like Jiminy Cricket
This is true?, can a human play this tricks?
this is fun ;)
The video is really great, but...can someone really do those things with an ebow? I've got one and I find it impossible to do all that, may be I should practice more :-)
Funny. That's EXACTLY how I would imagine the person behind the voice would look like
Lol there are pictures of Lenny in the old packaging, he _does_ look like that 🤣
Will it harm the guitar?
It will not harm the guitar. The EBow makes the string vibrate, nothing more.
Oresama Cray Thanks! The pickups of a guitar contain magnets, so I thought that the ebow might disturb the magnet just like what happens when you keep a magnet near a t.v. Just a thought, silly me.
The Ebow will not hurt your guitar
Why did this come up when I searched "abruzzi spur"?
TWEED AMP OP!!!!!
I prefer a pick.
And now try to do some sweepings
No. It does NOT feel natural. But, it is way cool.
I just use a real bow
