Swedish Clarinetist Martin Frost played the second movement to the Poulec Sonata for clarinet and piano in a concert at Lincoln Center in New York City.
I've had several of my students learn this for their high-school solo and ensemble "contest" piece. My son was fortunate to hear you perform this in Minneapolis/St. Paul several years ago for a concert he and his clarinet studio attended in Eau Claire, Wis. He is now soon performing his university senior recital including the Franciax Concerto
I like this Martin Fröst, he could de-frost his sound a little more and give us something slightly 'French' maybe. Also, one would think in a city the size of New York they could find a piano tuner that understands the music: not just the mechanical workings of the instrument.

@Matthew Rygelski Errata : Poulenc
This work is POULENC not Poulec, as erroneously labelled.

The recording quality is so poor that I don't think it's fair to comment on his tone.
@@whoitisnot Actually, you are right. Thank you.

Didnt like it unfortunately.. =(
And Karabacak the audio quality is not good. Martin has a very colorful sound and it doesn’t come across here.
