Paul gilbert by far he taught two awesome guitarists and is better than vai in every way he can play fatser has more feel but i give way points for inventing the 7 string 2 techniques and the floating tremolo
Both are virtuoso representing our generation. But vote to Pablo Gilberto. I love his bands as well as solos. I think he's the greatest hardrock player since Eddie VanHalen.
Steve vai is a amazing guitar player, but your songs are (im sorry for that, but is true) really bad in general, and paul gilbert is amazing also, but have many nice songs in comparison with steve vai.
Vai lebih komplit, karya2 solonya jauh lebih banyak dan lebih indah dari karya solo paul. Klo mau bandingin vai hanya dgn joe satriani dan ingwie m saja. Lainnya lewat semua.
