Absolutely insane deep dive build guide brother. You have raised the bar with this video. High five!
Most complete explication i have seen for a PVP build magplar.
Very documented, you are a fountain of knowledge. Even after playing since release I always find some new or refresher info in your videos. Keep up the Great Work!👍👌
Fantastic video, I love the extra context you always provide for general pvp when using the build, and the non-mythic options.
Came for a PvP Magplar build.
Stayed for the in-depth mechanics lecture.
Kudos on this one, Deltia ! It's good to know what skills, passives and gear to get, but far better to know the mechanics and math of the game and actually understand how the damn thing works. Thank you so much !
Fantastic content. I just got back to ESO and seeing you back too makes me really happy.
I've been playing since 2015 and I never made a mag templar. Thanks for all the information you give! Glad to see you back into eso! WOOOHOOOO
Thank you for this video, it will work really help me when I attempt pvp again!
Love the video! Glad you’re still making ESO content I’ve been following your channel since I started playing in 2016
Been waiting for this build, also congrats on getting into the stream team 🙌
Love the detailed explanation, I think this will help many players who are starting with PVP
Thanks Deltia, I use olo on my backbar and you really hit the nail on the head on how unforgiving it is. Would love to see a magplar team-oriented build from you!
Yeah the team oriented one is all about "bombs" unfortunately using DC or Plague.
Great video, like the new presentation. Will definitely give this a try!
Thank you for this!
Thanks for another great build keep up the good work bro
Thanks for exelent explaining and builds
7:02 I'm glad to finally hear someone actually say this out loud. For over a year now I've been told I'm _"doing it wrong"_ by not having Executioner on my bar, while playing a Templar that's wielding a two-hander. I did some math and just couldn't see how Executioner's _very slight_ damage-lead over Jabs justified dedicating a slot to something that's only being used, best case scenario, half the time. I just though, _"why not just jab more, and put something on my bar that can serves a purpose without having to meet some condition?"_
There goes me thinking I was onto something unique, your build is similar to what I was starting to build but you did a better job. I’m glad you are there to make amazing stuff buddy.
Great explanations!
as a newer player (200cp) maining a magplar this build/info is very valuable. Cant wait to get into a place were i can farm some of these sets respec and try something like this out, sick videos man
Thanks Deltia
Very good guide!
Deltia, been following you for many years. I think 6 years at this point. Thank you for putting out the best eso content.
I’ve been using olo/deadly and boy is it deadly. Can’t wait till console release of the new patch. I’m actually super excited about this patch.
Great vid 🤙🙏🙌
Welcome back missed your old videos.
Master!...cheers for this build!
Oh My god Ironblood.... Really don't you want anyone to die in pvp.
Good Video. Thank you.
Great build and even better video. Whether people agree with your build philosophy or not (I do), your thorough explanations of every single detail is second to none.
That being said, what are the alchemy ingredients for the escapist's poison? There are a bunch of different alchemical mixtures for the poison
Great build
amazing guide
One of your best in depth overviews even tho it's your main toon well done D...
Love the build and explanations Deltia! Been barely topping my toes into pvp with my Magplar and I keep getting slammed so I'm glad you can be here to sort of coach me through lol 😅
Very Thorough… soldier. I like.
PLEASE make a video on how to land heavy attacks in PVP. I get rocked by heavies. Somehow get hit 5 times in a nanosecond, but cannot figure out how to return the favor…
Likely cause they are using a hack or mod consoles are lousy with them
Is animation canceling still a thing? Haven't played since 2018 and used to exploit like crazy on my stamDK with 2h
Thank you
thank you sooooo much for explaining things properly - I never used to watch much of your vids(nothing personal) but now you are teaching this wannabees and providing wisdom to how to "connect" abilities/skills in a correct fashion - much appreciated
Pretty cool read helpful thanks
Great build and tips!!! I like this build but after they changed iron blood i replaced it with rattle cage and went 5 piece heavy and still get my execute because I don’t need degeneration with Rattlecage
Loved the video. Very thorough explanations all around. Do you plan on doing a stamplar one as well?
Yes, I'm going to work on some pve builds in this format as well. I'll probably do stam DK hybrid next.
Amazing video that is exactly the build I use now lol.
What addon is used to show the names above the perks in the Champion Points trees?
Proper video 👍🏼
I used your setup and once I got grips on that.. let's say I just went 30K/23A/0D in battlegrounds. Insanly great build. Thanks a lot!
Using off balance as resource sustain blew my mind. How did I not know this already?
Was just thinking last night I need to redo my Templar build. Just feel like vamp is not as beneficial to survivability in BGs as I once thought. Will give this a try. Thx!
Imagine if becoming a vampire made your templar spells blood red. Would be so fucking cool.
I can’t justify being a vamp on a temp for RP reasons.
nice 👍
Love the video! I recently found your channel and subscribed. Your builds and tips are definitely going to up my PvP game. Can you answer one question about this video for me that's not covered in your build? How did you get that look? If I pause the video at the 7-minute mark, your face looks like a demon (color, shape, horns...). Is it a skin or something else?
Polymorph. It's either the Maelstrom Arena Baron daedric polymorph or one of the three Imperial City daedric xivkyn polymorphs. You can get the Maelstrom one by completing Vet Maelstrom Arena and the Imperial City ones by getting enough tel var.
@@jhivarr4202 thank you so much. You just helped me figure out my next mission in the game 😉
Thank you I never realized life giver did that I was wondering why two of my pvp healers 1 could survive better than the other even though they wore the same gear and were same race.
So you want a kickass videogame guide huh? You probably want it to have huge amounts of info, good segmented time stamps, even catchy intro capabilities. You’ll also want something that is very noob friendly, and highly engaging, am I right? But can you get all this in one build? This is the most powerful youtube video yet!
I’m a new player that just started this week and your videos, and website guides have helped me a ton to jump into the game. I appreciate the time and effort you put in. Wish you all the best
My templar was weak until I change my point of view. Now i'm really enjoying the gameplay.. Holy god
I think Light of Cyrodiil might work well here too with the sweeps focus. Little bit of everything.
Awesome video help my Magplar build out a lot. Question bout rotations in the video ur doing purifying light then degeneration but on ur website it's saying degeneration then purifying light does it matter the order ?
Would you recommend innate axiom I really prefer that to war maiden just because it's easy to get and the spell dmg does apply to your healing as well as dmg even though it's a little bit less dmg over all ?100 percent uptime similar spell dmg to new moons but only class abilities but on Templar that's all we use 😀
YO ! Deltia...
This presentation is awesome, and just raised the bar for build presentations.
Build info Covering all aspects and their alternatives - Perfect !
Presentations of the build - Crisp and clear, amazing.
Tecnical - Deltia in black T, not to small, not to big. And Champ in main area with shadowed tiles behind Deltia, image just melts together. Spot on !
Keep up raising the BAR ! o7
My issue with war maiden 5 pcs. bonus it only buffs offensive magic skill and does not apply to the defensive abilities like heals and living dark.
@@austinbaxter7427 I was wondering about that and what other set choices to buff both damage and healing.
best teacher ever
Hi Deltia, I wonder if running Maul frontbar would be more beneficial due to the upcoming changes to Living Dark and which traits/enchantments in case of running dual wield Maces would you recommend (thought sharpend disease/charged shock or phys for sundered)? Ty in advanced
What about resolving vigor instead of rapid Regen? Ty :)
My brain just exploded
LOOOVE playing Templar. Makes all other builds feel underpowered.
Hahah for real. I try to play other classes only because I want a challenge lol 😂 Templar power
yeah templars are op but will get nerfed but still will be op because of the core is broken
Dual wield mathematically gives more damage with Nirnhoned on main hand. And charged off. Running 1 sword and 1 mace also allowing for 2 enchantments (2 status affects).
Hey man I’m new to eso started on PS5 3 months ago. I’m a magplar main I love magplar so so much and your builds have helped me out incredibly!! Finally got race against time today so I can try this out! Thank you
I'd like to see some builds for base game only. My second acct does not have ESO plus so I have only base to work with meaning no antiquities or jewelry crafting. I love your recommended 30k min health. Only my tank has 45k health, my templars and nbs are around 20-25k.
What would your stats look like in noCP? HP, Mag, Stam and SD mainly?
Thank you and congrats Deltia. I tried the “meta” olo/clever and honestly I felt war maiden always did so much better. It honestly made me stop playing magplar. Going back now for sure.
@@Deltiasgaming would iron flask be an ok replacement for ironblood? Sitting at a transmute station debating costs and such lol.
ive been playing about 2 weeks and started as a templar, im really liking the class a lot, right now i have medusa full set effect, rattlecage, and slimecraws. Just wondering if you think this is a good build for now. I havent been able to get all the multi glyphs and everything yet so im mostly hp with 50 magicka and 14 stamina points
Deltia, I saw another one of your videos, which was Don't Do This, which is to not mix attributes. Does that not apply to PVP, or is that just for PVE? Thanks and always love your content!
I mix attributes in PvP but health and main stat. So magicka/health or stamina/health.
What race do you use?
Deltia I have a genuine question, how does this build change after the Living Dark nerf next patch. It will now scale off of max health rather than spell pwr
Wow, I have a lot to learn about PVP. The dance metaphor makes sense though, I have a lot of skills to level: Rest Staff, Psijic Order, Living Dark, and Degeneration.
I want to start trying more PVP instead of just being an overland PVE solo.
@@MrJeppo96 yes, I think most people play PVE solo, or “parallel” with other players running around the world as one plays. There is no single player mode like the older ELder Scrolls offerings.
Hello, Delta, pls answer: will deadly + maiden be okay or it ll be too squishy?:)
Hello is there any other skill that can replace degeneration 4 I don’t have this skill yet unlock.
which skills in this build procs magma incarnate set? does puncturing sweeps and living dark count as single target healing skill?
I've watched this video a couple of times, I don't know if I have just been missing it, but what should my attribute points be? or mundus stone?
It is abit too hard for me to get ironblood, so i am using grace of gloom instead, should i up my health attribute/ other places abit more for the scaling of the set?
Thinking still viable after patch 34 nerf to healing ability?
What is the reason you go 3-3-1 and not something like 5 heavy - 1 med - 1 light?
I'm assuming you don't need the extra tankyness and prefer the damage from more light pieces?
You want cost reduction from light, max health armor for heavy and 1x medium is for undaunted and spell damage.
Quick Q - Blue Tree - why Untamed aggression and not Wrathful Strikes? It's only a 15 difference but...
I don't know if anyone or if everyone has already said this, but I tabbed to look at some info, and heard just your voice, you sound just like Chris Griffin bro... lmao I love you and all you do, no disrespect brother, just immediately hit me, if you tried, you could hit his voice perfectly.
Thanks Delta, now i survive 1 second more
Good setup but what’s that helmet style you are wearing? That is beast mode
It's a polymorph. Either the Maelstrom Baron or one of 3 Imperial City Xivkin ones.
Hmm mechanical acuity still better over war maiden ?
So w/o Mythic is an ideal setup?
Chest - WM
Legs- WM
Hands - WM
Belt- WM
2H Front Bar - WM
Resto Back Bar- Iron Blood
Rings- Iron blood
Neck- Iron blood
Monster - Magma Incarn
working towards the mythic but for time being would this stand up?
Yes , you'd just be missing a few stats off the ring, you can go cyrodiil naked as long as you have bubble your gonna be just fine xD
Yeah and then some trainee. The build would do okay, without 200 spell damage you wouldn't be crippled.
What are you thinking about Light of Cyrodiil set for this? And is Icehearts worth for the passive shield?
Lol I just threw together a build with stuff I had in guild bank.. spinners with greatsword, and swift on the body, shadowrend on monster.. the damage reduction plus the healing as a Templar is just funny in pvp and I can still kill people pretty easily with this skill set/skill rotation.
What race did you use?
Diamond's Victory is a crafted option too. Diamond's Victory + War Maiden..? That'd be a heck of a lot of Wep/Spell Damage! Though, even with your Diamond's Victory chest and legs crafted in Heavy, and with the Reinforced trait, it would still be no where near as defensive as Ironblood is. But if the enemies are dead, I suppose they can't hit you anymore, right? 😆
Hey deltia what I wanna use pariah but I don't know what should I change in the gear to make it 5p
Go 5pc on body at all time, then offensive set up 3 pc and weapon then monster/ back bar weapon. Pariah, Magma, War Maiden simple setup.
What was the mundus? Atro?
I'm a noob player and made a decent templar, on my own. Deadly Strike 5/5 armor, 5/5 on front and back bar with Medusa weapons, inferno or lightning staff front bar, and Medusa restoration staff on the back bar. Medusa jewelry and a crappy monster set, the shadowy chanfear, that minor mains anything it hits. I might get War Maiden weapons and jewelry to replace Medusa....
depends what u want to build for, if you wanna make a pvp build then indeed go spell dmg! so yeah warmaiden is better in that case! if you want to focus on pve stuff like dungeons and trials, i would at least grab Mothers Sorrow (full crit set), and add some other set to your liking, preferably something with crit + something else (like medusa, but ofc the medusa 5piece bonus can be got from pots or spells, so alot of people claim medusa is like wasting a full 5piece bonus)
Can u use rally from two handed skill tree for Major sorcery instead of determination? Is it good or bad skill?
living dark is a backbar ability!
What race?

Great video - but all I can think about is "Olo-mire" right now 😆🤣 (sorry).
Comments: 1) War Maiden yes! Using it too. Considered Olorime, but might put it on Mag DK.
2) I currently use the often overlooked Rattlecage dungeon set that gives you 20% and 400 spell damage, but defensive set might make more sense. Rattlecage means one more slot for skills though (see 4).
3) Why not 2h buff for 20% if you already use 2h?
4) U totally forgot about the critbuff via templar ranged flame attack. Must have.
