Very informative sermon! I studied at an SDA institution and hold a PhD, yet I was greatly enlightened by this Bible study delivered in the form of a powerful sermon!
We do not need "PHD's" to know the Word of God. The Hol Ghost teacheth all things. This cannot be learned from men, particularly men not operating in the Spirit of truth. EGW is not the spirit of prohecy, Jesus is and she was a false prophet in serious error.

Read those same verses in the NIV or the new King James version it doesn't even talk about hunting souls to make people fly it talks about birds flying in charms. 1 Thessalonians 4 verse 16 and 17 when they use meet the Lord in the air Look up the word a i r in a Strong's Concordance in its word number 109 in the Greek it means Breath of Life or spiritual body it's not atmosphere it's not in the a i r. Does Pastor Doug teach that you will meet the Lord in the air ?
I watched this as I was brought up Jehovah’s Witness and I did study at one time with Adventists, I found it too similar to Jw’s so I stopped the study. I was told that Adventists believed that Jesus was created as archangel Michael as jws which I could not accept. This sermon has cleared that up for me.

One thing that convinces me to believe in Adventist teachings is that everything they teach is supported by evidence from the Bible itself. In Daniel chapter 12, verses 1 to 2, it very clearly states that when Michael comes at the end of time, those people who have died will rise, partly to be judged and partly to gain eternal life. This aligns perfectly with John 5:28-29 (ESV), which says, 'Do not be amazed at this, for the time will come when all who are in the grave will hear His voice, and those who have done good will come out and rise to eternal life, but those who have done evil will rise to be punished.' It already proves from the Bible. Thank you, Pastor Douglas Bachelor, you have proven everything from the Bible."

The Michael that I saw was a finite angel. I saw also the infinite radiance of Wr-Alda The Oldest One in His (not the angel's) embodiment, and it was not like the finiteness of the angel that I saw; however, after prayer, I was told that that angel was Michael. He was twelve feet in height and accompanied by two angels each eight feet in height. So there is some duality here that is not clear from the Scriptural interpretation.
I love sermons loaded with biblical references. It’s so interesting how all the connections can be made throughout a book written over such a long period of time.
It was loaded with utter nonsense and he quoted a multitude of scriptures out of contet as well as an overload of mysteries scriptures that should not have been lumped together. The bible warns about improperly dividing the truth and speaking things that cause confusion.

Yes, that Michael is really Jesus, the one who “stands up” for God’s people at the end of the book of Daniel, is true. In the Prophetic books, many truths are presented in symbolic form. In Daniel, Michael is the great warrior who rescues us from Satan’s evil powers, at the end of the great conflict between Christ and Satan.
Pastor Doug has given us every Scripture that shows us that Michael represents Jesus Christ, who appears as an Archangel, over the heavenly host of angels, and as a warrior Prince of great power and authority.

I've been listening and following Pastor Doug Batchelor for decades now. He is an excellent teacher; his style and presentation is interesing and informative. I wish...I wish.....I wish more pastors and presenters had his spirit inspired thought provoking influence of preaching. I just want to be "fed" spiritually when someone is preaching or teaching. The Lord is using Pastor Batchelor in an effective way, and I for one am blessed with his ministry.

Thanks for this message. Just as you mentioned, Jesus humbled Himself as The Son of Man, not being son of any man, but becoming the Deliverer of mankind. He can also, in His Humility, Authority and Love, humble Himself as an Angel (messenger) to deliver personally the word we need. I will tell what I learned from the Bible. Jesus Christ was not created, Arch Angel Michael was created. A pot or a painting made by its creator cannot become it's creator. The Pastor is twisting the message in my opinion, I disagree with him mightily.
I had pieced together the exact same scriptures while we were in a Bible study before Covid-19 hit us and before the lockdown. In regular service, our Pastor in a open session asked who is Michael? I was in the second row of chairs, with complete confidence I answered Jesus. He acknowledged my answer positively, and went on. There was two or three people that were in a gasp, because I could hear their reactions to my answer. Nobody accused me of Blasphemy after the service session. I somehow knew that not everyone had connected the dots. Between the three books of Daniel, Thessalonians and Revelation, Pastor Doug hit them all. I was intrigued when I saw this title, I told my wife that I was going to watch this sermon this Sabbath when we got home from our own Sabbath Home Church service. I first looked Arch in my Strong’s Concordance for the accrual definition, as my starting point. Yes even the quote of Jesus: all power has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth. Doug hit a home run, as always. Love all if of his teachings!
Since Jesus was GIVEN all authority by God. logically Jesus didn't have such authority prior to being given it. Jude :9 But when Miʹcha·el the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms, but said: “May Jehovah rebuke you.”

Two different individuals being used for one purpose???? Logically not. It is one and the same known by two names. Spurgeon said that Michael is Jesus. That should hold weight with all Protestant believers who think so highly of Spurgeon. As for me, Pastor Doug has said it best!
The Seventh day Adventists are the only protestants left these days. No wonder so many churches who call themselves evangelicals do not even know what they believe and do not know their origin were protestants but their current churches ended the protest and went back to Catholicism under a different name. 😮
No. Michael is Michael the Archangel. And Jesus is was and will always be Jesus. There are Dragons. I saw Michael the archangel on UA-cam. He is real! And Jesus said that He would come back. But He is not because of John 3: 16, 17.

39:35 actually in isaiah 9:6 it is that he will be called "wonderful COUNSELOR." there is no comma between "wonderful" and "counselor." note the construction of this verse: "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I saw Michael and two other angels standin behind the preacher in a German-language Lutheran easter service in the 1980s. The feelin that I had caused me to realize that he had been in attendance in my Congregational services durin tween years.
Seems pretty clear. He accepts worship. I think people get thrown by their understanding of the term 'angel', and our contemporary understanding of what a commander does or doesn't do.
40:51 yes, jesus is god's chief messenger. the only verse i wrestle with is rev 12:7 as commented in 10:30. also could not find anywhere in the bible that michael was worshipped.
Michael is the Archangel. Which means Ruler of Angels, Chief Messenger or Commanding Angel. There are many other variations that can apply just as validly. In Joshua 5, Joshua meets the 'Commander of the Lord's Army'. i.e. the Commander of the Angels, and he falls facedown and starts worshipping. So the name Michael is not used but it is clear who this person was.

@@GraceYow-z5z Apologies, I answered your comment about when Michael/Commander of the Lord's Army was worshipped, but probably should have started by asking what it is about rev 12:7 that you wrestle with. It's not clear from your first comment. What Rev 12:7 tells us is that they are His angels and that they won the war in Heaven against Satan, but it would be good to know what you think is missing. In Daniel 10:13 the word "one" is taken from the original word "echad". Echad also means "First" or "The First". Check Genesis 1:5. So this reads as "First of the Chief Princes" or word for word as "First Chief Prince". In Jude 9: The word "a" is not part of the actual translation of "archangel". Jude 9 has him as "Michael the Archangel". Archangel is defined in Strong's as "Chief Messenger", but they are imposing their assumption by inserting the word "a". If you look at the origin and usage of the word alone - "archo" (to rule, to reign, to begin) "aggelos" (angel or messenger) it should start to become clear. Joshua 5:14 uses the word "Commander", "Captain" or similar depending on the translation you use. In its original language it is taken from the word "Sar" (Strong's reference 8269), which is the same reference used to describe Michael as the Prince in Daniel 10 and 12. So hopefully the correlation between Michael and Jesus becomes clearer for you.

I think Jude shares some light on this Jude 1:9 NASB95 - But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Michael can’t be Jesus because Jesus did rebuke Satan in the wilderness. In addition Hebrews chapter 1 says Christ was greater than Angels.
Obviously in some cases Jesus WILL rebuke and in other cases will not. But in the case of both the temptation in the wilderness AND in Jude 1:9 He DID rebuke Satan. Both times. BTW why were they arguing over the body of a dead man? Who but God can resurrect the dead?
Zechariah 3:2 "And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan!" Michael saying "the Lord rebuke you" is not proof that Michael is not Jesus because in Zechariah we can clearly see the Lord doing the same thing. Also, angel means messenger. Jesus is the greatest messenger that has ever existed since He provided the greatest revelation of God and especially of God's love. That would make Jesus the chief messenger which can be literally translated to archangel (arch = chief, angel = messenger).

We see Michael and Gabriel are both mentioned in Daniel: This rules out the idea that Michael is Jesus. Michael is not 'The Angel of the LORD' Who appeared to Moses and to Joshua and to Jacob. The Scriptures do not place the name Michael onto 'The Angel of the LORD' Who is in fact Jesus. According to Daniel, Michael is "one of the chief princes" [Dan 10:13] and many have reasoned that Michael is 'The Restrainer' mentioned by Paul [2 Thess 2:7] based on Daniel 12:1 where Michael does not "stand up" but rather he "steps aside" and stops his restraining "at that time".
Hello! just here to provide and alternative understanding if your willing to hear. No Gabriel and Michael are not the two witnesses though i understand the assumption... you'll notice that in the verses you mention these are not called archangels or princes etc.. so there's really no tie to this topic unless we make assumptions. But in zecharaiah lets note that these are symbols of the candlestick.. this is not the symbol of the archangels who dont simply stand by but cover the ark and are represented by the gold cherubs on the ark itself. It makes no difference though as those words can be translated to mean angel and also son.. furthermore Jesus is in fact the anointed one.. that is the definition of the word Christ. However Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4 are referring to something else entirely which I haven't time here to explain, but there is no where in scripture that says the two witnesses are the archangels, i understand the assumption but it is an assumption. In Daniel the word prince is used in an interesting way.. the messiah is the prince (see chapter9:25) the one who crushes the nations without hands in daniel 8:25 (which is God in Daniel 2) is the prince.. and then Michael is referred to specifically as Daniel's prince (see chapter10:21) but normal angels are not our princes even if they are princes.. in Revelation 22:9 the angel is clear he is a fellow servant and of thy brethen... hence why we render no homage to angels. We worship only God.. again in Daniel Michael is referred to as THE great prince (Daniel 12:1) simply because one verse says he is "one of the chief princes" do not discount this, he is "the great prince".. it is possible to be one of the angels and still the greatest angel. Please understand we are dealing with a translation which will at times render odd sentences as well, especially in daniel where it is two languages Hebrew and aramaic, which only daniel and Ezra are written in. Let us also not quickly pass by the fact that Jesus said the dead will all hear his voice john 5:27-28... yet this Is given to the archangel.. 1 Thesselonians 4:16. You mention that we only find Michael as an archangel in jude... yes the word archangel is only mention twice in scripture period. So it makes more sense to say that Jude is correct in calling Michael the archangel than to try and find some one else who is not called by that title anywhere in scripture and attribute that position to him. The only one who was ever directly called the archangel in scripture is Michael. Yes Michael does stop his restraining at this time.. that's correct. But not sure why you'd think that would disprove this is Christ, nor why you would assume 2 thessalonians is talking about the same thing or a positive force.. or how it would have bearing at all seeing you'd have to assume 1. That this refers to an angel 2. that this is Michael 3. That this somehow means that this angel is not God in angelic form... it seems a stretch to even mention that scripture. At this time when michael stands up the destructive forces will no longer be restrained that is true but it really doesn't change anything about the discussion. But...in my opinion "many reason" is not a solid argument for your position. If we make no assumptions the scripture does not say the archangels are two witnesses yet it clearly says Michael is the archangel and the great prince and gives no other direct explanation for 2 thessalonians. I know in text format emotion is lost so I hope you can understand the spirit in which I wrote this. Much love, hope to see you in the kingdom one day 🙂 One more note.. The Angel of the Lord not being directly tied to the title Michael doesn't remove the other evidence of this being the case.. however just to cover that in a very shallow way as well.. there is the captain of the hosts in joshua 5 who was allowed to recieve worship (again the command is we only worship God).. in Daniel there is a prince of the host (see daniel 8:11).. please consider this as well.
@@JamieElison haha I can't explain that whole chapter in detail in a comment it's a lot going on in that chapter! 😅 I already got long winded in the last comment lol... but I suppose I'll explain a bit up to the verse i mentioned. in verse 10 the hosts are in heaven, and we see him casting the hosts "and of the stars" to the ground this description is used of satan in revelation 12 along with the earthly power which sought to kill Christ at birth which was Rome..another topic on its own. Anyway this power attempts to magnify itself in the place of the prince of the hosts (which we saw are in heaven). My comparison was to show that there is a prince of the heavenly hosts or captain as is in joshua.. and he is able to recieve worship.. now rewinding in brief verse 1-9 (i wont be able to provide every reasoning and argument here but if you study it you'll find what im saying) normally Daniel starts his prophetic line from Babylon but in this case he starts in Persia because Babylon had already been conquered. We have a ram 🐏 with one horn higher than the other (Persia) just like the bear🐻 in chapter 7. It gets attacked across a river from the west by a goat 🐐 with a notable horn verse 21 tells us this next power is Greece and Alexander, interestingly enough his first recorded attack is at the river granicus from the west against the persians.. next we have his kingdom split in four divisions. He had four generals which took his kingdom (same as the four heads of the leopard 🐆in chapter 7) "Out of one of them" (not the horns.. it is a feminine Hebrew word so this horn comes out of one of the four winds which are also feminine.) Comes a little horn. this many suppose is Antiochus epiphanies but it is not because this power waxes great towards the south east and pleasant land.. Antiochus did not meet these qualifications his campaign in Palestine failed and the reckoning of 2300 days from him taking Jerusalem also is inaccurate for numerous reasons. He wasn't even the greatest in his dynasty so to call him "exceeding great" compared to alexander is just not tennable. The greatest in his line would have been antiochus III (i.e. the great).. but i digress. The power here is the same described in Revelation 12 which cast down the stars and waited to kill christ at birth. Which is Rome and did indeed wax great in these directions and followed right after Greece. Islam is another posited but also fails to meet some of the descriptors(again im sorry im typing from my phone and i cant go through each here but if you read the descriptions you'll find the details that don't match) If you look at daniel 2 and 7 the same pattern emerges even with the fourth beast having a little horn (a beast is symbolic of a kingdom according to daniel 7:23). This can be rather thoroughly proven but again I feel I'm already being long winded 🙂. The rest of the chapter Is a bit more complex and I prefer explaining only when I can do so with full evidence.. youtube comments aren't really good for that.. you may not believe this but I usually don't respond to comments on yt 🙃.. hopefully this is atleast a good helpful start though. I think I should get off UA-cam before I end up explaining all of daniel with my thumbs (its not comfortable 😂)

How do we know the Angel of the Lord is Jesus? *THE RULES OF INTERPRETATION IS - Scripture must be its own expositor.* “But God will have a people upon the earth to maintain the Bible, and the Bible only, as the standard of all doctrines, and the basis of all reforms. 36:31 bless you for teaching that we will go through jacobs trouble and that we would need to wrestle with god in prayer then. many false teachers teach god will rapture us before the great tribulation. no. faithful believers are only safe from god's wrath poured on the whole earth after the great tribulation caused by the evil one through his beasts.

We do not need "PHD's" to know the Word of God. The Hol Ghost teacheth all things. This cannot be learned from men, particularly men not operating in the Spirit of truth. EGW is not the spirit of prohecy, Jesus is and she was a false prophet in serious error.

I watched this as I was brought up Jehovah’s Witness and I did study at one time with Adventists, I found it too similar to Jw’s so I stopped the study. I was told that Adventists believed that Jesus was created as archangel Michael as jws which I could not accept. This sermon has cleared that up for me.

One thing that convinces me to believe in Adventist teachings is that everything they teach is supported by evidence from the Bible itself. In Daniel chapter 12, verses 1 to 2, it very clearly states that when Michael comes at the end of time, those people who have died will rise, partly to be judged and partly to gain eternal life. This aligns perfectly with John 5:28-29 (ESV), which says, 'Do not be amazed at this, for the time will come when all who are in the grave will hear His voice, and those who have done good will come out and rise to eternal life, but those who have done evil will rise to be punished.' The Michael that I saw was a finite angel. I saw also the infinite radiance of Wr-Alda The Oldest One in His (not the angel's) embodiment, and it was not like the finiteness of the angel that I saw; however, after prayer, I was told that that angel was Michael.
He was twelve feet in height and accompanied by two angels each eight feet in height. So there is some duality here that is not clear from the Scriptural interpretation.
I love sermons loaded with biblical references. It’s so interesting how all the connections can be made throughout a book written over such a long period of time.
It was loaded with utter nonsense and he quoted a multitude of scriptures out of contet as well as an overload of mysteries scriptures that should not have been lumped together. The bible warns about improperly dividing the truth and speaking things that cause confusion.

Yes, that Michael is really Jesus, the one who “stands up” for God’s people at the end of the book of Daniel, is true. In the Prophetic books, many truths are presented in symbolic form. In Daniel, Michael is the great warrior who rescues us from Satan’s evil powers, at the end of the great conflict between Christ and Satan.
Pastor Doug has given us every Scripture that shows us that Michael represents Jesus Christ, who appears as an Archangel, over the heavenly host of angels, and as a warrior Prince of great power and authority.

I've been listening and following Pastor Doug Batchelor for decades now. He is an excellent teacher; his style and presentation is interesing and informative. I wish...I wish.....I wish more pastors and presenters had his spirit inspired thought provoking influence of preaching. I just want to be "fed" spiritually when someone is preaching or teaching. The Lord is using Pastor Batchelor in an effective way, and I for one am blessed with his ministry.

Thanks for this message. Just as you mentioned, Jesus humbled Himself as The Son of Man, not being son of any man, but becoming the Deliverer of mankind. He can also, in His Humility, Authority and Love, humble Himself as an Angel (messenger) to deliver personally the word we need. We, most of the time, try to limit God and encapsulate Him in the limited space of our tiny minds and forget that His is all Authority, Power and Will. Please, keep sharing the food, and may God bless you. I love my Adventists brothers, God has given me the privilege to encounter this church, and although I haven't met an Adventist personally, the ones God has put in my path through this source have been a blessing to my life. There is one who calls out to Michael He conceals himself until the time He reveals himself. I humble myself, That there is a Lord Jesus and a Almighty Father. We must honor the Father who holds in his hand our life and all our ways. Ask the Father if his teachings were spoken through Jesus? Then turn to Jesus.

I will tell what I learned from the Bible. Jesus Christ was not created, Arch Angel Michael was created. A pot or a painting made by its creator cannot become it's creator. The Pastor is twisting the message in my opinion, I disagree with him mightily.

Amen All Praise And Worship To The All Knowing All Loving & All Mighty God Creator Of Heaven & Earth.
I had pieced together the exact same scriptures while we were in a Bible study before Covid-19 hit us and before the lockdown. In regular service, our Pastor in a open session asked who is Michael? I was in the second row of chairs, with complete confidence I answered Jesus. He acknowledged my answer positively, and went on. There was two or three people that were in a gasp, because I could hear their reactions to my answer. Nobody accused me of Blasphemy after the service session. I somehow knew that not everyone had connected the dots. Between the three books of Daniel, Thessalonians and Revelation, Pastor Doug hit them all. I was intrigued when I saw this title, I told my wife that I was going to watch this sermon this Sabbath when we got home from our own Sabbath Home Church service. I first looked Arch in my Strong’s Concordance for the accrual definition, as my starting point. Yes even the quote of Jesus: all power has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth. Doug hit a home run, as always. Love all if of his teachings!
Since Jesus was GIVEN all authority by God. logically Jesus didn't have such authority prior to being given it.

Where does it say Michael does that? Michael is Satan's true opposite. He's appointed by God to guard Israel. He stands as a spiritual guardian against Satan at the tribulation. Nowhere does it say or imply that Michael can/will offer deliverance. Michael is a spiritual guardian until after the tribulation when Jesus returns.

39:35 actually in isaiah 9:6 it is that he will be called "wonderful COUNSELOR." there is no comma between "wonderful" and "counselor." note the construction of this verse: "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Michael is not an angel; he is the commander of angels. Jesus is called the son of man, but he is not a man. Don't let semantics get in the way of your understanding.
I saw Michael and two other angels standin behind the preacher in a German-language Lutheran easter service in the 1980s. The feelin that I had caused me to realize that he had been in attendance in my Congregational services durin tween years.
Seems pretty clear. He accepts worship. I think people get thrown by their understanding of the term 'angel', and our contemporary understanding of what a commander does or doesn't do.

40:51 yes, jesus is god's chief messenger. the only verse i wrestle with is rev 12:7 as commented in 10:30. also could not find anywhere in the bible that michael was worshipped.
Michael is the Archangel. Which means Ruler of Angels, Chief Messenger or Commanding Angel. There are many other variations that can apply just as validly.
In Joshua 5, Joshua meets the 'Commander of the Lord's Army'. i.e. the Commander of the Angels, and he falls facedown and starts worshipping.
So the name Michael is not used but it is clear who this person was.
@@pdub332 thank you for responding to my comment. the interlinear does not have michael the archangel. just michael and the angels of him. daniel has him as "one" of the chief of princes, jude 9 only has him as "a" chief of messengers. the one joshua met was "the" prince of the army of Yahweh. this must be our jesus, not michael.
@@GraceYow-z5z Apologies, I answered your comment about when Michael/Commander of the Lord's Army was worshipped, but probably should have started by asking what it is about rev 12:7 that you wrestle with. It's not clear from your first comment.
What Rev 12:7 tells us is that they are His angels and that they won the war in Heaven against Satan, but it would be good to know what you think is missing.
In Daniel 10:13 the word "one" is taken from the original word "echad". Echad also means "First" or "The First". Check Genesis 1:5. So this reads as "First of the Chief Princes" or word for word as "First Chief Prince".
In Jude 9: The word "a" is not part of the actual translation of "archangel". Jude 9 has him as "Michael the Archangel". Archangel is defined in Strong's as "Chief Messenger", but they are imposing their assumption by inserting the word "a".
If you look at the origin and usage of the word alone - "archo" (to rule, to reign, to begin) "aggelos" (angel or messenger) it should start to become clear.
Joshua 5:14 uses the word "Commander", "Captain" or similar depending on the translation you use. In its original language it is taken from the word "Sar" (Strong's reference 8269), which is the same reference used to describe Michael as the Prince in Daniel 10 and 12.
So hopefully the correlation between Michael and Jesus becomes clearer for you.
Pastor Doug has quoted directly from the Bible and those verses cannot be interpreted any other way.

I think Jude shares some light on this Jude 1:9 NASB95 - But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
Michael can’t be Jesus because Jesus did rebuke Satan in the wilderness. In addition Hebrews chapter 1 says Christ was greater than Angels.
Obviously in some cases Jesus WILL rebuke and in other cases will not. But in the case of both the temptation in the wilderness AND in Jude 1:9 He DID rebuke Satan. Both times.
BTW why were they arguing over the body of a dead man? Who but God can resurrect the dead?
Zechariah 3:2 "And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan!"
Michael saying "the Lord rebuke you" is not proof that Michael is not Jesus because in Zechariah we can clearly see the Lord doing the same thing.
Also, angel means messenger. Jesus is the greatest messenger that has ever existed since He provided the greatest revelation of God and especially of God's love. That would make Jesus the chief messenger which can be literally translated to archangel (arch = chief, angel = messenger).

Doug, you are as an angel, messanger, teaching us Gods holy word.
Gabriel and Michael are the two anointed ones (the Two Witnesses) who stand in the presence of God [Zech 4:14, Rev 11:4] . Michael in the Hebrew language means "Who is like God?" · Gabriel in Hebrew means "God is my strength" or "Might of God". We see Michael and Gabriel are both mentioned in Daniel: This rules out the idea that Michael is Jesus. Michael is not 'The Angel of the LORD' Who appeared to Moses and to Joshua and to Jacob. The Scriptures do not place the name Michael onto 'The Angel of the LORD' Who is in fact Jesus. According to Daniel, Michael is "one of the chief princes" [Dan 10:13] and many have reasoned that Michael is 'The Restrainer' mentioned by Paul [2 Thess 2:7] based on Daniel 12:1 where Michael does not "stand up" but rather he "steps aside" and stops his restraining "at that time".
Hello! just here to provide and alternative understanding if your willing to hear. No Gabriel and Michael are not the two witnesses though i understand the assumption... you'll notice that in the verses you mention these are not called archangels or princes etc.. so there's really no tie to this topic unless we make assumptions. But in zecharaiah lets note that these are symbols of the candlestick.. this is not the symbol of the archangels who dont simply stand by but cover the ark and are represented by the gold cherubs on the ark itself. It makes no difference though as those words can be translated to mean angel and also son.. furthermore Jesus is in fact the anointed one.. that is the definition of the word Christ. However Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4 are referring to something else entirely which I haven't time here to explain, but there is no where in scripture that says the two witnesses are the archangels, i understand the assumption but it is an assumption. In Daniel the word prince is used in an interesting way.. the messiah is the prince (see chapter9:25) the one who crushes the nations without hands in daniel 8:25 (which is God in Daniel 2) is the prince.. and then Michael is referred to specifically as Daniel's prince (see chapter10:21) but normal angels are not our princes even if they are princes.. in Revelation 22:9 the angel is clear he is a fellow servant and of thy brethen... hence why we render no homage to angels. We worship only God.. again in Daniel Michael is referred to as THE great prince (Daniel 12:1) simply because one verse says he is "one of the chief princes" do not discount this, he is "the great prince".. it is possible to be one of the angels and still the greatest angel. Please understand we are dealing with a translation which will at times render odd sentences as well, especially in daniel where it is two languages Hebrew and aramaic, which only daniel and Ezra are written in. Let us also not quickly pass by the fact that Jesus said the dead will all hear his voice john 5:27-28... yet this Is given to the archangel.. 1 Thesselonians 4:16. You mention that we only find Michael as an archangel in jude... yes the word archangel is only mention twice in scripture period. So it makes more sense to say that Jude is correct in calling Michael the archangel than to try and find some one else who is not called by that title anywhere in scripture and attribute that position to him. The only one who was ever directly called the archangel in scripture is Michael. Yes Michael does stop his restraining at this time.. that's correct. But not sure why you'd think that would disprove this is Christ, nor why you would assume 2 thessalonians is talking about the same thing or a positive force.. or how it would have bearing at all seeing you'd have to assume 1. That this refers to an angel 2. that this is Michael 3. That this somehow means that this angel is not God in angelic form... it seems a stretch to even mention that scripture. At this time when michael stands up the destructive forces will no longer be restrained that is true but it really doesn't change anything about the discussion. But...in my opinion "many reason" is not a solid argument for your position. If we make no assumptions the scripture does not say the archangels are two witnesses yet it clearly says Michael is the archangel and the great prince and gives no other direct explanation for 2 thessalonians. I know in text format emotion is lost so I hope you can understand the spirit in which I wrote this. Much love, hope to see you in the kingdom one day 🙂
One more note.. The Angel of the Lord not being directly tied to the title Michael doesn't remove the other evidence of this being the case.. however just to cover that in a very shallow way as well.. there is the captain of the hosts in joshua 5 who was allowed to recieve worship (again the command is we only worship God).. in Daniel there is a prince of the host (see daniel 8:11).. please consider this as well.

@@JamieElison haha I can't explain that whole chapter in detail in a comment it's a lot going on in that chapter! 😅 I already got long winded in the last comment lol... but I suppose I'll explain a bit up to the verse i mentioned. in verse 10 the hosts are in heaven, and we see him casting the hosts "and of the stars" to the ground this description is used of satan in revelation 12 along with the earthly power which sought to kill Christ at birth which was Rome..another topic on its own. Anyway this power attempts to magnify itself in the place of the prince of the hosts (which we saw are in heaven). My comparison was to show that there is a prince of the heavenly hosts or captain as is in joshua.. and he is able to recieve worship.. now rewinding in brief verse 1-9 (i wont be able to provide every reasoning and argument here but if you study it you'll find what im saying) normally Daniel starts his prophetic line from Babylon but in this case he starts in Persia because Babylon had already been conquered. We have a ram 🐏 with one horn higher than the other (Persia) just like the bear🐻 in chapter 7. It gets attacked across a river from the west by a goat 🐐 with a notable horn verse 21 tells us this next power is Greece and Alexander, interestingly enough his first recorded attack is at the river granicus from the west against the persians.. next we have his kingdom split in four divisions. He had four generals which took his kingdom (same as the four heads of the leopard 🐆in chapter 7) "Out of one of them" (not the horns.. it is a feminine Hebrew word so this horn comes out of one of the four winds which are also feminine.) Comes a little horn. this many suppose is Antiochus epiphanies but it is not because this power waxes great towards the south east and pleasant land.. Antiochus did not meet these qualifications his campaign in Palestine failed and the reckoning of 2300 days from him taking Jerusalem also is inaccurate for numerous reasons. He wasn't even the greatest in his dynasty so to call him "exceeding great" compared to alexander is just not tennable. The greatest in his line would have been antiochus III (i.e. the great).. but i digress. The power here is the same described in Revelation 12 which cast down the stars and waited to kill christ at birth. Which is Rome and did indeed wax great in these directions and followed right after Greece. Islam is another posited but also fails to meet some of the descriptors(again im sorry im typing from my phone and i cant go through each here but if you read the descriptions you'll find the details that don't match) If you look at daniel 2 and 7 the same pattern emerges even with the fourth beast having a little horn (a beast is symbolic of a kingdom according to daniel 7:23). This can be rather thoroughly proven but again I feel I'm already being long winded 🙂. The rest of the chapter Is a bit more complex and I prefer explaining only when I can do so with full evidence.. youtube comments aren't really good for that.. you may not believe this but I usually don't respond to comments on yt 🙃.. hopefully this is atleast a good helpful start though.

How do we know the Angel of the Lord is Jesus? *THE RULES OF INTERPRETATION IS - Scripture must be its own expositor.*
“But God will have a people upon the earth to maintain the Bible, and the Bible only, as the standard of all doctrines, and the basis of all reforms. The opinions of learned men, the deductions of science, the creeds or decisions of ecclesiastical councils, as numerous and discordant as are the churches which they represent, the voice of the majority, - not one nor all of these should be regarded as evidence for or against any point of religious faith. Before accepting any doctrine or precept, we should demand a plain “Thus saith the Lord” in its support. [IC 23.2].
The phrase “the Angel of the Lord” [the theophanic angel] appears 50 times in 49 verses in the Old Testament in the King James online Bible. It seems when the definite article “the” is used, it is specifying a unique being, separate from the other angels. The angel of the Lord speaks as God, identifies Himself with God, and exercises the responsibilities of God.
In several of these appearances, those who saw “the angel of the Lord” feared for their lives because they had “seen the Lord.” Therefore, it is clear that in at least some instances, the angel of the Lord is a theophany, an appearance of God in physical form.
*Some Bible commentators believe that whenever someone received a visit from “the angel of the Lord,” this was in fact the pre-incarnate Christ.* These appearances can be seen in Genesis 16:7-14; Genesis 22:11-18; Judges 5:23; 2 Kings 19:35; and other passages. Other commentators believe these were in fact angelophanies, or appearances of angels. While there are no indisputable Christophanies in the Old Testament, every theophany wherein God takes on human form foreshadows the incarnation, where God took the form of a man to live among us as Emmanuel, “God with us” [Matthew 1:23].
*So, Let us examine and see what the Bible reveals to us.*

Indeed, Moses heard a divine voice that spoke to him. *There he met the Messiah, without knowing it. He knew it was God who was speaking to him as he heard:* “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Exodus 3:6. Moses believed that God who spoke to him, was there in the bush. He believed and he was justified in that faith. We learn that the one revealed was the Word, the Messiah himself.
