Yeah it just has a specific feel that can't be replicated even with the telescopic poles there's just something about real wood that makes it feel different.
Well, you can also do do with the package says wrapped around the entire off at like the middle, but also take some tape, whatever tape you got, electric or duck tape and tape it down a couple times that way it’s more secure on the rod that way if the rod tip breaks, you can still pull in the fish and if you catch a big one, you don’t have to worry about it slipping
Yeah that's true and the line they send you is definlty longer than necessary so wrapping it wouldn't be to much more difficult so if I really was in a survival situation it's definitely worth the few extra mins to rig it up extra secure

Great video. I love doing this, but I usually make my own pole out of Coppiced Elm fire hardened shoot about 8-10 Ft long and tarred bank line
I bet that makes an awesome rod I've been thinking about making my own at some point just finding the time to do it makes just buying pre-made rods so much easier

Nice depending on the length of the pole the price can really fluctuate but 3.99 is definitely a good find
