I'm rewatching this and I'm just noticing the number of times Kaif gets in the hole, switches to spectate mode, and the first words out of his mouth are "bye Glen" as Glen goes in the water. Like, it happens SO MANY TIMES 🤦😂😂
I think the game spawns your checkpoint at the last location you were moving below a specific velocity. So if you never slow down enough and make 3 strokes, it will spawn you back 3 strokes. But if you were to slow down before the last stroke, it'd only put you back 1. It's likely done this way as a risk/reward system. Go fast and risk losing it all, or slow down a bit for safety.
As a physiotherapist in Australia, I would love to have a chat and look at those scans, as your issues (for lack of a better term) sound interesting and are probably treatable. However I know I would not trust a person you have never met from the other side of the world. Just my curiosity at the end of the day
