Nice seeing you outside. Relics getting washed out, be careful you might stumble across me. lol. Hope you are keeping a good healthy mindset and staying active.
Man, nice catch on the spear tip! Merry Christmas, my friend: maybe one of these days we will actually get our collective acts together and go for a stroll, checking out the details, swappin’ some lies! Quest on, Nate!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Nate.....Good to see you out relaxing in Nature and the sound of water.....Always a good thing.....I Love collecting beach glass, exciting to find, like a kid I am.....Thank you for taking us out with you
Definitly evidence of ...always fun to come across such artistic pieces that were so essential to their way of life ..anyhoo thanks again nate ..Merry xmas and keeping thots an prayers for family
22:00 I've never seen tye type of pattern in the obsidian around here ! Referring to tge one found in the gravel. It's a zebra type pattern...which I noticed the embedded white stripes at the tooled part but when the sun hit it I was amazed! Perhaps it was from a traveling tribal band from a different volcanic region.???? Just a feeling I git.
Salutations and Happy Holidays! Great artifacts! And besides those take homes, so many shards, and then, there were likely a few insta-tools! in your haul! Simply Awesome material! ....I think you are spot on with the artifact identification, and anyways, I was thinking Lerma before you could even say it! I so love the colours of the chert, jasper, and obsidian which you fetch out of your local streams. Don't get me wrong, Indiana has plenty of cool stuff to pluck from Her creeks, load up one's pockets with on any day of the year, I just happen to really like greens, yellows, purples, reds, and blues! Yessir....my pack would weigh heavy on any excursion! Sending Cheers and Blessings to Your Camp, and not least; Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You and All Yours! CIAO
Thank you Nate, great finds. Awesome projectiles found, and some very nice cherts. Happy Christmas to you and your family, and wishing you all a wonderful new year . X❤
Went out this a.m. in the rain. East of Redding. Lots of fresh gravel, no agates, or arrowheads. I did find some low grade pet wood. It was good to get outside. Thanks!!!
I need to get myself out there ...I should go out to my property wi5h the yr round creek in the back of it, gorgeous rocks and minerals to bs had in Anderson Springs . I want my cabin back ....maybe I could convince the universe that we never had wildfires here! If you can manifest ancient weaponry..... ;-)
